Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

"So… what the hell was that, Gojo?"

Hiratsuka Shizuka asked, her eyes a mixture of frustration and confusion,

He had just taken her first kiss without a proper confession.

She thought there would be resistance in her heart, but it wasn't strong at all. There was even a faint, almost embarrassing sense of joy.

It seems this old lady still has a little charm… forcing this guy to take the initiative.

"Shizuka, what do you mean? Didn't you experience it yourself just now?" Gojo asked, tilting his head innocently.

Hiratsuka subconsciously touched her lips, still tingling from the kiss. A blush flashed across her face, but as an adult, she quickly regained her composure.

"Really… you guy."

Speechless.

She is speechless at herself because she feel like in the days to come, she would probably have to follow this fool everywhere.

Yet, she didn't resist.

Considering Gojo Satoru's personality, appearance, and his identity as an Onmyoji, she realized more women might be attracted to him—or even try to get involved in his life. But Shizuka didn't care. As long as this white-haired fool held a place in her heart… that was enough.

Of course, there was also the world's rules to consider.

In this world, men with sufficient ability could legally have multiple partners if everyone involved agreed. That explained why Shizune could accept it—after all, who doesn't want to monopolize someone's love?

"The lunch break is almost over. I'd better head back to my class"

Shizuka said as quickly donned her white coat and hurried off. Her departure didn't look like a simple rush to class—it was more like… escaping Gojo Satoru?

Yes, she was so embarrassed by her own heart and thoughts that she didn't want to stay along with him even for a second.

"Hmm… Shizuka is really cute," Gojo murmured, holding his chin and smirking.

After tidying up his desk, he prepared to leave as well. It's worth noting that Subo High School's teacher office had four occupants: Gojo Satoru, Hiratsuka Shizune, and two others—Tojirai and Chihiro.

.....

Later that Day,

By three o'clock in the afternoon, Subo High School was finishing up.

"Yamaguchi, let's go to Akihabara today. According to the news, the magical girl Melie is releasing her new game."

"What? Releasing a game? Why didn't I know about this?"

"It's just a rumor for now, maybe a test release. Let's go!"

"Yeah, let's go quickly!"

"…Rika-chan, let's go sing karaoke. It's been a while."

"But… I still have some things… ah, forget it, let's go."

On the way from school, many students walked together. Though the school club had a large membership, many still chose to go home directly.

On the rooftop, Gojo Satoru was preparing to teleport using the Limitless Technique toward Shibuya.

Reason—

There was a sweets shop in Shibuya owned by grandmother, and their "Kikufu" desserts were his favorite. Remembering the soft texture and sweet taste, Gojo couldn't help smirking.

Umaru meanwhile, said that she would stroll around with a friend, shop a bit, so she let him go ahead.

"Yo, coordinates found," Gojo said, his mind linking to Shibuya's location.

The path was clear, prearranged to avoid barriers and obstacles—a hidden route, perfect for unhindered travelers like — Gojo.

Just as Gojo was about to teleport, his phone rang.

~~Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, Never gonna run around, Never gonna make you cry~~~

(Note: Think of it as the ringtone)

Gojo paused, then answered without even looking:

"Moxi? Moxi, this is Gojo. Oh… is there something important? If not, finish quickly—I have something important to do."

There was a brief silence on the other side. Then:

"Gojo-kun, you're so leisurely… running off to Tokyo to be a teacher?"

"???"

Gojo looked at the screen. The caller ID read: Squinting Subaru.

(Note: Here it was Ang, but I am 80% sure it is Subaru Mitejima from Twin Star Exorcist)

Oops—he'd forgotten to tell Subaru Mitejima about this, She might have heard it from Arima. But he had a way to smooth it over.

"Ahem, ahem…" Gojo coughed, his tone softening.

"Sorry, Subaru. I was injured, and I didn't want you to worry, so I didn't mention moving to Tokyo."

"Seriously? Injured… you? Stop lying"

" Hey,… it's…"

Gojo's mind raced, as he thought of a believable lie.

"It's the injury from not eating Kikufu in Shibuya!"

Instantly, his tone straightened, justified. As if he didn't just say the most random stuff.

"…Fine. Next time, just tell me, okay? Half a month without telling me… I would've thought you were in the wilderness if I hadn't asked someone."

Subaru's voice was sharp, leaving no room for refusal.

Too fed up to deal with his bullshit.

Gojo rubbed his temples, helpless.

"I know, Subaru. I didn't mean to hide it. I've been with my sister for the past half-month, and school started today… I honestly forgot to tell you. Sorry, Subaru."

Not a lie—he really had been gaming with Umaru all that time.

"Okay. Then I'll come to you after finishing Kyoto matters. Don't say I can't come. Goodbye."

And with that, she hung up, leaving Gojo alone with his thoughts.
