Saturday Morning,
The weekend sunlight spilled lazily into the room as Gojo Satoru whistled softly, washing his hair in a relaxed rhythm.
His reflection in the mirror looked almost glowing—fresh, calm, and completely at ease.
Yesterday night, Nino Nakano had suddenly messaged him, asking if he was free to hang out today—just the two of them.
Thinking it might be fun to break the usual routine, Gojo agreed without hesitation.
After all, when a cute girl asks for time together, the correct reply is always yes.
Once he finished drying his hair, he poured himself a cup of black tea he'd prepared earlier.
The warm aroma filled the air.
On the table beside him were neatly arranged pastries—three servings in total.
Two of them, naturally, were for Umaru Gojo and Benio Adashino.
"Ah—"
Just as Gojo sat down, the sound of a door opening echoed softly through the apartment.
Out stepped Benio, rubbing her sleepy eyes, her long hair slightly messy from sleep.
"Yawn- Good morning, Gojo-sensei," she greeted with a soft yawn, as she started walking towards the bathroom.
"Morning, little Benio," Gojo replied with a small smile, sipping his tea as he glanced at his phone.
A new message notification blinked across the screen.
Nino: I'm up, Gojo-kun.
Gojo smiled faintly, tapping his reply with one hand.
Gojo Satoru: By the way, Nino, should we meet at the Asatsuki Café again 😈?
Nino: Ah… forget it…
Gojo Satoru: Then I'll come pick you up instead? Wait for me downstairs at your house?
Nino: It's fine! Don't worry about it. Oh—Itsuki's rushing me about breakfast. Gotta go, bye!
Gojo placed his phone aside with a quiet chuckle and continued sipping his tea.
Benio, now fully awake and and quickly dressed neatly, joined him at the table.
Her hair, freshly brushed, shimmered faintly under the morning light.
"Gojo-sensei," she asked curiously while stirring her tea, "aren't you going to call Umaru for breakfast?"
"Hmm…" Gojo made a low sound, massaging his temples. "No need. She'll… roll out on her own."
Benio blinked. "Roll out?"
Before she could question him further—
Thud.
The door to Umaru's room swung open.
A long, cocoon-shaped bundle wrapped in a blanket slowly rolled out from the room like a sleepy caterpillar.
Benio's expression froze.
"What in the world…"
The blanket wiggled once, and a small head peeked out from the edge—Umaru Gojo, half-awake, with messy blonde hair sticking out in every direction.
Her panda-like dark circles made her look like a national treasure.
"Good… morning, Onii-chan. Morning, Benio…" she mumbled weakly.
Benio almost choked on her tea.
"Is she… okay?" she whispered.
Gojo didn't even flinch, as he reply—
"She'll live. Probably stayed up all night gaming again."
Umaru lifted a finger lazily.
"Ah… hmm."
Her voice was weak, her eyes half-closed, her energy completely drained.
She kicked off her blanket, shuffled to a chair, and sat down, staring blankly at the cup of tea in front of her.
Benio stared in silence, debating whether to check her pulse.
"Don't worry," Gojo said with a sigh, noticing Benio's concerned expression. "This is… normal for her."
"Normal?" Benio repeated, still wide-eyed.
She remembered the last time Umaru had stayed up all night.
The next morning, the girl had stumbled around the house, bumping into walls, walking left when she meant right—like a drunk little ghost.
Now, watching Umaru drink her tea with heavy eyelids, Benio couldn't help but let out a helpless smile.
"You're hopeless," she muttered softly.
"Ehehe…" Umaru gave a sleepy grin, her head bobbing slightly before she finally took a sip of black tea.

Meanwhile – Nakano Household
Inside the cozy Nakano apartment, the familiar morning chaos had already begun.
The four Nakano sisters sat on the sofa, all still in their pajamas, waiting for Nino to finish making breakfast.
"Hey, did anyone notice that Nino seems kinda… happy today?" Ichika whispered, narrowing her eyes suspiciously.
Yotsuba tilted her head. "Happy? She seems normal to me."
Itsuki crossed her arms dramatically.
"Normal? I just told her to hurry up with breakfast and maybe make some steamed buns—and she didn't even yell at me! Usually, she'd throw the pan at my face!"
The other three sisters froze, glancing at each other.
"…That's true," Ichika admitted, tapping her chin. "She didn't even sigh or roll her eyes this morning."
"Right?!" Itsuki exclaimed. "Today's Nino is… weird."
On the kitchen side,
Nino Nakano was completely oblivious to her sisters' suspicion. Humming a cheerful, unfamiliar tune, she flipped dumplings on the pan, the pleasant aroma filling the room.
Her mind wasn't on cooking at all. It was wandering somewhere else—thinking about where she and Gojo might go today.
A faint blush dusted her cheeks at the thought.
Back in the living room, the sisters were busy forming theories.
"...Itsuki," Miku said calmly, "why don't you go test her mood? See if she's hiding something."
"Eh? Why me?" Itsuki groaned, sinking deeper into the sofa.
Ichika smirked. "Because last time you tested her mood, you nearly started a kitchen war."
Itsuki glared. "Exactly! I'm not doing that again!"
"Then Yotsuba can go," Ichika suggested, looking at her younger sister with a mischievous grin.
"Wha—why me?!" Yotsuba protested.
"Because you're… carefree. Harmless."
"Yeah," Miku and Itsuki chimed together. "You have no guile. You're perfect for dangerous missions."
"Uuuu…" Yotsuba looked ready to cry.
Still, under the pressure of three expectant gazes, she shuffled toward the kitchen like a soldier marching to her doom.
Peeking her head around the doorframe, she whispered timidly, "N-Nino? Are you almost done? I'm… hungry."
Her voice was so small even Miku had to strain her ears.
Ichika sighed, facepalming. "Yotsuba, she won't hear you if you whisper like that."
"Yeah," Itsuki added. "Try again, but louder!"
Yotsuba frowned nervously. "Louder?"
"Much louder!" all three said in unison.
Taking a deep breath, Yotsuba clenched her fists and shouted,
"NINO! HURRY UP, WE'RE STARVING!"
The entire apartment fell silent.
The three sisters' eyes widened as they slapped their hands over their ears.
"Not that loud!" Ichika hissed. "We told you to test her, not declare war!"
Miku's eyes darted toward the kitchen. "Incoming anger in three… two…"
But to everyone's shock, there was no explosion.
No shouting.
No frying pan flying through the air.
Just Nino's soft voice responding, "Got it! Just a minute!"
The four sisters froze.
"…That's definitely not normal," Ichika whispered.
"Yeah," Itsuki said gravely. "This isn't the Nino we know."
Miku nodded, adjusting her glasses. "She's hiding something."
Yotsuba blinked innocently. "Maybe she's just in a good mood?"
Ichika sighed. "Exactly. And that's why it's suspicious."
They all exchanged meaningful looks.
Whatever—or whoever—was behind Nino's uncharacteristically sweet behavior… they were going to find out.
.....
Back at Gojo's Apartment,
Umaru had finally regained some energy after finishing her tea, her eyes slightly clearer now.
"Onni-chan," she mumbled, "are you going somewhere today?"
"Yeah," Gojo replied casually, setting down his cup. "Nino asked me out. We're just grabbing lunch."
Benio looked up from her cup and asked—
"Nakano Nino… the one from Sobu High School?"
"That's the one."
Umaru pouted, crossing her arms. "Hmph. You're going on a date and didn't even tell me?"
Gojo chuckled. "It's not a date. Just two friends hanging out."
Umaru gave him a skeptical look. "Right, and I'm the Emperor of Tokyo."
Benio stifled a laugh.
"Fine," Gojo said, standing up and stretching. "You two behave yourselves while I'm gone."
"Don't worry," Umaru replied with a sly grin. "We'll survive… somehow."
As Gojo left the apartment, the two girls sat in comfortable silence, the warm morning air filling the room.
Benio looked toward the door, then smiled faintly. "He really does attract strange people."
Umaru giggled, hugging a pillow. "That's my brother for you."
Outside, the day had just begun—and somewhere across town, Nino Nakano was waiting, humming softly to herself, her heart unexpectedly light.
