Section 1: Birth and Early Childhood in Mathura & Gokul

Prophecy and Threat of Kansa:

King Kansa, the tyrant ruler of Mathura, was warned by a divine prophecy that Devaki's eighth son would kill him. In terror, Kansa imprisoned Devaki and Vasudeva, killing their first six children. The seventh, Balarama, was mystically transferred to Rohini's womb.

Miraculous Birth:

Krishna was born in a dark prison cell in Mathura. Despite chains and guards, his birth radiated divine light. Vasudeva carried him across the Yamuna in a stormy night, protected by divine forces.

Childhood in Gokul:

Krishna was raised by Nanda and Yashoda in Gokul. Even as a child, he displayed miraculous powers—killing demons like Putana, the poisonous nanny, and Trinavarta, the whirlwind demon. He charmed the villagers with his mischief, stealing butter (Makhan Chor) and delighting in playful acts with the Gopis.

Lessons:

These early episodes illustrate Krishna's dual nature: human and divine, playful and heroic, innocent yet supremely wise.
