Chapter 91: Intermission—Flaming Giant Sword!
The moment his forbidden technique completely restored his heart—
Tsukasa's eyes blazed with fury. With one hand, he slammed his chest hard and strode forward!
He glared fiercely at Tōgō Hayato, who stood immersed in his own twisted satisfaction!
Fire Release: Chakra Mode—activated!
Blazing fire-attribute chakra surged through Tsukasa's body, forming almost tangible chakra flames!
"Burning Heart!"
"Push Beyond All Limits!"
The power emanating from his heart instantly filled every corner of his body!
The flames surged higher! Wisps of pitch-black chakra mingled with the fire, igniting with crackling sounds, fueling the flames of absolute rage even more fiercely!
In the swaying pool of blood, the water gradually evaporated, forming a hazy crimson mist.
In the dark cavern—a miniature sun suddenly rose!
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
Standing within the blazing sphere, Tsukasa roared in fury, clasping his hands together!
A surging wind pushed aside the blood mist, exploding outward in all directions.
"This power... could it be that forbidden technique?!"
Fugaku turned back in shock, his gaze fixed on Tsukasa standing in the flames, his eyes widening in disbelief.
"This is insane!"
"And he actually mastered it!"
Soon, Fugaku's expression changed again.
"Oh no! A two-tomoe Sharingan can't use Izanagi. He'll burn himself to death!"
To master this technique meant possessing exceptional talent for fire-attribute chakra beyond the ordinary!
Such talent was rare even in the entire Uchiha clan!
Watching this scene, Fugaku—burdened with the responsibility of becoming the next clan head—clenched his fists tightly, feeling a surge of regret.
This regret filled him with unbearable anxiety, his heart alternately burning like fire, then weighed down like stone.
If he had acted sooner, he wouldn't have pushed the kid to this point.
Was he being too cautious?
Elsewhere, the fierce wind whipped Orochimaru's long hair back, his robes billowing.
Standing in the gale, he looked up in astonishment at the sun rising from the blood pool, disbelief in his golden serpentine eyes.
"What kind of jutsu is this?"
"Instantly igniting all his chakra, chakra burning chakra, turning every inch of flesh and blood into kindling, thrown into this blazing flame, transformed into power."
"Incredible!" Orochimaru gasped in amazement.
His golden eyes reflected the young man roaring within the sun, hands clasped together.
This radiance emanating from a mortal, this jutsu so utterly contrary to his own ideals, exploded before his eyes!
His mind was shaken.
How could someone be so foolish as to literally burn themselves to ashes for another person?
With such will, even his teacher Sarutobi Hiruzen's Will of Fire would pale in comparison!
But soon, Orochimaru remembered his purpose here.
His eyes widened, and he thought: Not good!
The forbidden technique Physical Regeneration won't keep pace with this burning speed!
This kid will die!
I need to find a way to keep him alive, then extract information about the technique from his mind.
For a moment, Orochimaru's thoughts raced as he frowned, considering what technique could save the brat before him.
Meanwhile, underground—
White Zetsu looked at the scene above, his face filled with shock, and swallowed nervously.
"I finally understand what Madara-sama meant. Even if this brat is qualified, he's incapable of serving as a puppet!"
"He's far too impulsive!"
"If I inject chakra into him now, the spores would be incinerated before they even get close. Even if he received chakra, it would simply become more fuel."
White Zetsu looked with despair at Tsukasa, who was performing what amounted to suicide by forbidden technique, and wailed:
"Madara-sama, how do you expect me to save such a madman?!"
Standing amidst the blazing flames—
Tsukasa watched as Hidan's head dropped silently, feeling a wave of crushing guilt surge within him!
Hidan's final words—especially calling him 'big brother'—tore him apart inside!
Because Tsukasa knew better than anyone that he wasn't qualified for that title.
He'd exploited the trust of others and thrown himself into danger, spouting grandiose promises. His motives had been selfish from the very beginning—simply trying to change sides, facilitate his planned death.
Yet this kid had taken it seriously.
He'd followed along, determined to witness it firsthand, willing to stake his life on Tsukasa's words.
He'd leaped from the cliff without hesitation, eyes closed, taking the plunge.
Even when it meant tearing his hands apart to buy time for Tsukasa.
When forced to stab himself, he'd literally thrust a spear into his own stomach.
Human hearts aren't made of iron—Tsukasa had seen it all.
But just as he'd resolved to rewrite this tragedy, Hidan fell before him.
This was the price of hesitation, the price of not acting decisively when it mattered!
At that moment, silence, regret, killing intent, rage, and sorrow—complex emotions swirled and morphed within Tsukasa's chest, transforming into deeper darkness.
The next moment, only tyrannical fury remained in his eyes!
He formed seals, clasped his palms together, and drew his blade!
A two-meter-long flowing blade of fire appeared in his hand. With a flick, dazzling flames erupted!
He glared at Hayato, who'd already started fleeing again, his eyes bloodshot and a sinister smile rising at the corner of his mouth:
"Run?"
"You actually think you can run?!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Let's see how far you get!"
Tsukasa suddenly stepped forward and twisted the hilt. Raging flames clung to the blade, transforming the two-meter sword into a forty-meter flaming giant sword!
Swinging the massive blade, Tsukasa arched his body, pivoted his stance, and lunged forward!
A circular slash swept around him!
A sea of fire suddenly rose—a circle with a forty-meter radius.
Hayato stared in horror, realizing he had nowhere to escape.
He could only flatten himself to the ground to avoid the flaming giant sword's edge.
The next moment, he was engulfed in flames!
Billowing black smoke rose, and wildfires blazed fiercely!
Even the Jashin Cult's immortal body, with its strong resistance to ninjutsu, found breathing extremely difficult in such conditions, and Hayato began to feel dizzy.
"Cough, cough, cough!"
Hayato coughed violently, frantically trying to form hand seals for a Water Release technique.
But suddenly, a sound like ripping wind tore through his ears.
He looked up—only to see a massive sword encased in raging flames ruthlessly descending upon his head!
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
Three consecutive strikes, sending rubble flying!
They struck Hayato's skull, hammering him into the ground.
The Jashin Cult's immortality possessed immense resistance to ninjutsu, but under such extreme force—the raging flames were merely decoration. The damage was pure blunt trauma!
"No, I can't die here!" Hayato roared in terror, gazing at the massive sword above.
"My ritual, my curse, is far from complete!"
At that moment, Hayato's head—pounded by the mighty sword—was nearly buried in his chest, yet even so, he remained alive.
The next moment, he rapidly formed hand seals, culminating in clasped palms forming the Snake seal.
He shouted furiously:
"Water Release: Water Formation Pillar!"
The next moment, he threw his head back deeply. With violent chakra fluctuations in his throat, he suddenly exhaled!
Like a waterfall rushing skyward, a massive water column shot up to meet the giant sword!
However—
Tsukasa suddenly threw his head back and laughed wildly:
"HAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA~!"
The laughter was filled with mockery!
"Not enough! Not enough!"
"Nowhere near enough!"
"What is that? Gravel? You plan to stop me with that pathetic thing?!"
"HAHAHAHA!"
"Trash! Don't make me laugh!"
Tsukasa laughed maniacally and leaped up again, swinging the forty-meter giant sword through the air, spinning and slashing down!
With ultimate force that could only be unleashed through extreme violence and scorching flesh—
Hayato's water column, barely three meters in diameter, looked like a pathetic insect trying to stop a runaway train before the forty-meter blade!
BOOM!
Another slash descended—the Flowing Flame Blade cutting through the water like a hot knife through butter, instantly vaporizing Hayato's column.
White mist rose and filled the air!
With barely any resistance, the sword struck!
A single blow carved a twenty-meter-long gash in the ground!
The entire cave roared and trembled like an earthquake!
Hayato took the blow head-on, his skull smashed into his chest, countless bones and organs shattered.
However, he vanished from the spot.
"Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique again?" Tsukasa sneered.
"Why don't you learn your lesson?"
"Where can you hide from these eyes?!"
Crimson pupils blazed through the white mist, tracking left and right.
The next moment—
Tsukasa's gaze locked onto a corner near the cave's exit. He dispersed the Flowing Flame Greatsword and, gripping the two-meter flaming blade with both hands, pointed it forward!
The blade suddenly extended, its fiery edge shooting out over twenty meters. It stabbed into the ground and plucked Hayato out!
A thrust, a pull, a forward strike!
Piercing through his chest, Tsukasa pinned him to the wall!
Then, gripping the flaming blade's hilt, he lunged forward, drawing a nearly incinerated shuriken from his pouch. He swung it out, his fingers pulling wire threads, slicing downward!
Hayato, horrified, tore his chest free from the flaming sword and dodged to the side.
"Wrong move again!"
Tsukasa sneered, discarding the instantly burned wire. He gripped the hilt with both hands and slashed down viciously!
With one strike, he bisected Hayato and sent him flying!
Then seven more strikes followed!
A diagonal slash, a reverse slash, another diagonal from the opposite angle, left horizontal followed by straight thrust, right slash followed by upward strike and spinning cut!
Like playing a violent game, in the blink of an eye, Hayato was chopped into scattered pieces!
"NO!!!"
A faint, shrill, unwilling roar could be heard!
After doing all this, Tsukasa's eyes blazed fiercer. He suddenly stepped forward, twisting the hilt!
He roared furiously:
"AAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
"How dare you still scream?!"
"I'll burn you to ashes! Let's see if you survive that!"
He transformed the two-meter blade back into a giant flaming sword, holding the hilt above his head, and struck down with one devastating blow!
The raging flames formed a hammer-like sword that, along with Hayato's scattered remains, plunged deep into the ground!
Carving a massive crater!
Then all the chakra in his body poured into the blade, falling into the enormous pit—transforming into a raging inferno!
BOOM!
The next moment—
A system notification appeared.
