Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 Wang Hu's Might Before the Nova Resource Satellite

As the sortie approached, Li Chengzhi was still reminding Wang Hu to pay special attention to the enemy's Red Coat Elites.

Judging from past records, Red Coat Elites were considerably stronger than their green-clad counterparts.

But what he didn't know was—how could there not be a single Red Coat among all those ZAFT Forces warships outside?

Even though Red Coats currently held higher prestige and were relatively scarce compared to their later proliferation, no Coordinator with half a brain would—

After Wang Hu had been flaunting his prowess for so long, how could they not deploy them?

The reason Li Chengzhi and others held such a misconception—that Wang Hu had never faced Red Coats—

Was simply because ZAFT had strictly controlled information leaks.

Moreover, ever since switching to the Qilin, every MS GINN pilot he faced had been cut down like vegetables.

The enemy also aimed to maintain this deception for as long as possible, even keeping it hidden from PLANT's own leaders like Clyne.

"Understood."

Wang Hu nodded at his friend's concern.

While his teammates were unaware, Wang Hu himself—being the one in combat—had more or less sensed that he'd already fought Red Coats.

But there was no need to mention it himself. Wouldn't it be better to reveal it after the battle concluded?

Securing his helmet in the Qilin's cockpit, Wang Hu signaled readiness to the control room.

"Control room here. The path is clear, Lieutenant Wang Hu. We wish you a triumphant sortie!"

With the control operator's melodic blessing, Wang Hu pressed the accelerator.

"TS-MA4F Exus Experimental, Wang Hu launching!"

The purple Mobile Armor emblazoned with a qilin insignia soared from the Path of Light,

Merging into the torrent of countless Moebius units surging forward.

Ahead, flashes of fire dotted the cosmic backdrop—the battlefield where conviction and courage would collide!

"Humans are fools," the masked man murmured.

Piloting an MS GINN amidst the troops, at the local Coordinators' request,

Creuset's arrival remained a secret known only to a select few.

Even the Coordinator soldiers around him remained oblivious that their military's legendary hero

Had already walked among them.

Creuset sneered at this, considering the local Coordinator commanders spineless.

Yet the cunning man voiced no objection, instead gracefully accepting the arrangement—

Thus granting the commanders a favor.

"Wang Hu, is it?"

With casual precision, Creuset picked off several Moebius units.

For him, these were merely trivial appetizers before the main course.

Even Chairman Patrick's explicit order to eliminate this so-called "Wang Hu"

Was but a palate-cleansing side dish on Creuset's menu.

Watching the flickering dots on his screen—each appearance and disappearance

Marking a life extinguished—

Behind his mask, Creuset's handsome face curled into a delighted smile, his pursed lips hinting at infinite amusement.

"Exactly, this is how foolish humans should truly be."

"Endless hatred will breed infinite, unending enmity, then ignite flames to consume everything!"

It must be known that Chairman Patrick's attack on the East Asian Army's Nova Resource Satellite had long been criticized by the Clyne faction.

They considered it an expansion of the war, bringing no benefit to Plant.

But what they didn't know was that attacking the Nova Resource Satellite would provoke East Asia's counterattack.

Behind this, there had always been a ghost at work—and that ghost was Creuset!

Even just dragging the idle East Asia into the fray wasn't enough for Creuset!

It would be best if the entire world were dragged in.

Orb, the Equatorial Union, the Kingdom of Scandinavia—all of them should join the fray!

"Not enough, still not enough!"

As more lives were lost on the battlefield, command considerations became irrelevant in this great war.

Alone in the cockpit of his MS GINN, with no one to disturb him, Creuset momentarily shed the elegance he displayed before others.

His face twisted into a subtle yet deranged expression.

Muttering to himself, for the sake of his ambitions, Creuset piloted the GINN at full strength.

A one-man army, unstoppable.

Creuset ruthlessly harvested the lives of East Asian soldiers on the battlefield.

Coordinator soldiers, sensing his prowess, spontaneously gathered around him and charged alongside him.

Like a sharp blade, they fiercely advanced!

"Hahaha, hahaha…"

Witnessing the situation he had single-handedly created, Creuset didn't know whether to revel in having manipulated Patrick into attacking East Asia or in his absolute dominance on the battlefield.

Or perhaps he was simply happy to finally be able to be his true self here.

From the GINN's cockpit, he could already see the Nova Satellite blocking ZAFT Forces from entering the L4 Colony Satellite region.

Creuset let out a wild, unrestrained laugh!

But as fate would have it, his laughter was abruptly cut short—

Like a duck's incessant quacking suddenly silenced when its owner grabs it by the neck.

"Wang Hu! Wang Hu is here!"

"The Prodigy of New Star! East Asia's Demon God!"

"The purple demon has appeared! The Allied Forces' monster!"

"Damn it, he's targeting me!"

"Mom! No…"

Suddenly, in the midst of what seemed like a flawless victory, before Creuset's eyes—

A few allied MS GINNs that had charged even more recklessly than him exploded into fireballs!

Along with the fireballs came ghostly green beams flashing across the dark cosmic backdrop.

The Qilin's Beam Pods were small and fast, and with neutron jammers scattered across the battlefield, spotting these tiny specters with visual sensors alone was nearly impossible.

By the time you noticed them, Death was already waving at you.

"Oh?" A phantom lightning bolt flashed in Creuset's mind as he listened to the panicked screams around him.

The once-ferocious Coordinator soldiers, who had charged forward without hesitation, now uncontrollably retreated in terror upon realizing the East Asian Army's Qilin had appeared on the battlefield.

Some soldiers with weaker nerves even began babbling incoherently.

"Wang Hu?" Creuset felt a deep sense of astonishment.

This overwhelming presence was like a fierce tiger emerging in the forest, silencing all beasts!

And the soon-to-appear Wang Hu actually gave him the same feeling as when he encountered that Mu.

"I really want to see you."

A playful glint flashed in his eyes as Creuset concealed himself among the retreating troops, patiently waiting for his opportunity.

"Incredible!"

Meanwhile, General Zheng, stationed at the Nova Resource Satellite command center, couldn't help but marvel.

"A one-man army—this must be what Zhang Yide was like when his roar at Dangyang Bridge sent Cao Cao's million-strong army fleeing."

"I think it's more like Lu Bu at Hulao Pass, standing alone yet making thousands of troops dare not advance," Chief of Staff Jiang quickly added.

"Lu Bu wasn't exactly a good man," General Zheng disagreed with his subordinate's comparison.

"But Emperor Xian of Han is buried right beside Lu Bu," Jiang replied with a chuckle.

"And our Wang Hu—his future will surely be even more glorious!"

"Hmm." Unwilling to argue further, General Zheng turned his gaze forward, toward the future of victory.

As for Wang Hu, he too had absolute confidence!

"Damn it! That Wang Hu has appeared!"

The unusual retreat of their own forces naturally caught the attention of the Coordinator officer commanding from the rear.

Just as General Zheng had faith in Wang Hu, they now pinned all their hopes on Captain Creuset!
