Damien groaned under his breath, both hands clutching his head as a sharp throb pulsed through his skull. He squinted, forcing his eyes open as he struggled to adjust to the blinding brightness above him.

The question barely formed in his mind when fragments of last night came crashing back all at once.
His eyes widened as he bolted upright in bed, panic jolting through his system. His gaze swept wildly across the room, his senses instinctively searching for one thing....that omega. The sweet, intoxicating pheromones that had driven him half-mad the night before.
