Fred watched silently as Damien poured the red wine into two glasses. Without a word, Damien opened a small container of yogurt and added a portion into each glass, stirring gently until the mixture blended smoothly.
He handed one of the glasses to Fred.
Fred hesitated for only a second before accepting it. The glass felt cold against his palm. He studied the drink briefly before bringing it to his lips.
"Did you know about Alex's proposal?" Fred asked after taking a cautious sip. The wine, mixed with yogurt, tasted surprisingly smooth....tangy yet rich.
Damien chuckled softly and shook his head.
"I didn't," he admitted, leaning back into his seat. "Alex has always been full of surprises. But even I didn't expect something that grand. Who would have thought he'd actually propose to Gabe like that?"
He swirled the glass in his hand, watching the liquid move in slow circles.
