The next day, Ehtra woke up from the bright sunlight and animal noises. The noises, especially, immediately made her awake out of surprise and fright.
Looking down, there was a freaking crowd of wild animals below her. She almost jumped out of the hammock from the fright. Luckily, the vine hammock was wide enough, and the tree she was currently in was the tallest tree. Hence, the animals could not reach her. After calming down, she finally remembered what the Bunyip said yesterday, that these animals would not attack her, no matter what, due to the Zootic power bestowed upon her.
These animals have a strong affinity towards her, the very reason why they are patiently waiting for her to awake.
