"Just in the opposite way."
"Now you two stop it." says Taz.
"Yeah!Yeah! It's getting late at night.Taz has to go home to meet with Lady Sherlyne."says Nathan in a dramatic tone and then burst out laughing along with Khaleed.
Taz [blushing] says," Stop teasing me Nathan."
"Okay!okay!"
"Who is Lady Sherlyne?" asks a curious Sarah.
Nathan replies,"Lady Sherlyne Granville is the second child and daughter of the Duke Alistair Granville of Eldermere.She is the wife of our dear friend Taz Bashir, whose father was one of the richest man in Eltos before Taz took over his business."
"Oh my! Daughter of the Duke of Eldermere, Lady Granville, now I remember."
"Yeah." Nathan continues."Lady Sherlyne is a beautiful lady, who grew up in the halls of the Eldermere Castle.Taz and Lady Sherlyne first met in the 'University of Eldermere', and the rest is history.When Taz went to the Duke to ask for his daughter's hand,he denied.The Duke was very close to King Theodore Arthorne,the current king of our Arthorne Kingdom.So, he thought that it would bring him shame if a commoner married his daughter. But his first born child and son, Lord Elmund Granville requested him for the approval of their marriage.The Duke loved his daughter and upon his son's request, approved the marriage but on the condition that her surname will not change after the marriage.After that, they married and Taz took over his father's business."
"So, Mr. Bashir is the husband of Lady Granville.That's wonderful!" exclaim Sarah.
"Yeah!Wonderful indeed!" says Khaleed in a sarcastic way.
Taz [still blushing] says,"Stop teasing me guys.As if I will travel nine kilometres from Eltos to Eldermere at this hour."
"You will if she sent you a letter at this moment." says Khaleed to Taz.
Taz [smirking] says,"That's another story."
"Alright, so can we talk to the point now?" asks Karim calmly.
"Yeah! You may." replies Khaleed.
"According to the description Khaleed gave me, the 'Apostles' deduced that the two men belongs to the organisation called the 'NightHowls'."
" So, my guess was right."replies Khaleed.
"Yeah!Whatever.Now the question is– How does Ms. Buckins acquire the bracelet of unique powers?"
"Actually, I am a student of Delinburgh University of this city Eltos and..." Before Sarah could complete her sentence, Khaleed interrupted.
"Okay Ms. Buckins that enough!"
"No, it's not! let her continue." says Karim.
"I am afraid, she may not." replies Khaleed firmly.
"Why are you interrupted her?" asks Karim.
"Because she has told you enough." replies Khaleed.
" No, she has to..."before Karim could continue Khaleed interrupted,"You may kindly leave now."
Karim [shock] asks,"Then why did you call me here in the first place?"
"To confirm that it was the 'NightHowls'."
"You could have got the information on call."
"Perhaps your organisation is not kind enough to share the information on call."
Karim [not loosing his calm] says,"Even if you stop me interrogating her now, it does not matter, as she will be going with me to the Apostles Headquarters."
"Well, I am afraid you are wrong as she won't be going with you.She will stay here and perhaps join the Midnight Detective Agency or perhaps she has already join it." replies Khaleed.
"What???"
Khaleed asks to Sarah,"What do you say Ms. Buckins?"
Everyone looks towards Sarah.
Sarah [confuse] replies,"Yes! I..."
'That's settle it."says Khaleed.
"But..." before Karim could continue Khaleed interrupted.
'Can't you hear her 'kid'?"
Karim [frustrated] replies,"Okay! 'Mr. Short Height', I am leaving."
"Kindly just leave already."
Karim leaves the house.
"That was terrifying." says Taz.
"Indeed." says Nathan.
Sarah asks to Khaleed,"When did I say I will joim the Midnight Detective Agency?"
"You didn't but I have already welcome you in the Agency."
"But..."
"Listen Ms. Buckins, the 'NightHowls' are dangerous and they have set their eyes on you and they won't leave you easily.Also, you are a bracelet user because once you have wear the bracelet of unique powers, it is bonded with you till your death.Meaning only after your death, it can be use by some other person.Till then even if someone steal it, it won't give them powers. Keeping these things in mind, I have decided for your best that you should join us.This is for your own safety Ms. Buckins, otherwise you will be force to join the 'Apostles', as you are a bracelet user. Or perhaps would you like to join them?If yes, then I may again call Karim as he hasn't gone too far..." before Khaleed could complete his sentence, Sarah says,"No no! It's okay! I understand."
Khaleed [smirk] says,"So once again Ms. Buckins, welcome to the 'Midnight Detective Agency'."
Nathan and Taz clapping, congratulating her.
"Ah! I don't know what to say." says Sarah.
"So how long do yoy kids still plan to make noise?" asks a man who is unknown to Sarah.
"Who is he?" asks a shock Sarah.
Nathan replies,"Oh! He is Dr. Albert Hudson."
