Synopsis: While The Ace of Games won the tournament, things are not settled as Ranma just dropped a bombshell on him. What could he mean by "no longer friends".
A few of Hou's matches are shown one by one. Even though Hou lost once, he was able to improve little by little and eventually became the champion of the Helping Hands Tournament. But little did he know that behind the scenes, a shadow lurked around his life, consumed with anger. Now, at the present moment, Hou confronts that shadow.
Hou: {Confused} What do you mean we're no longer friends? What are you saying?
Ranma: Isn't it obvious? We don't even have the right to be friends nowadays. You're nothing but a thorn on my side.
Hou: What? But I...
Ranma: Save it. If you really just don't get it...
Suddenly, on screen, a dark storm engulfs the young paltuber, making him disappear. Everyone's shocked. All of a sudden, the dark storm appears right on stage and outcomes the same person.
Hou: Ranma !!!
Ranma: Then I'll make you understand by any means necessary.
Everyone's in worry. Meanwhile, Garga feels there's a dark presence surrounding Ranma. A mysterious entity is right behind him, while clouding in dark, colorful smoke.
Garga: [It's That Feeling Again. Why is it so familiar...]
Ranma: So what do you say? Fight me at once, if you've got the guts, Hou.
Hou: I...
Masato: Go for it, Hou.
Hou: Masato?
Masato seems really serious.
Masato: You beat me, right? Beating him should be no problem.
Daryl: I also concur. Something's up with him, and if you beat him, or perhaps even fight him, you can get answers.
Hou: Daryl...
Garga: I also agree. There's something I must confirm for myself. Besides, as the Ace Of Games, you never run away, right?
Hou: True...{Determined} Okay. (To Ranma) I'll fight you.
Hearing this, Ranma smiles in evil. His eyes are really devious. His face is really menacing.
Ion: This is unprecedented but it looks like once again Hou & Ranma are facing off. Think of this as an extra exhibition match.
On the stands, the other Aces are with their buddies, standing to watch.
Masato: What does Ranma mean when he said Hou doesn't deserve to be champion?
Daryl: I'm not sure, but if I were to guess...jealousy?
Hou: A deity dragon's brigade descends. Come On. Luminize. Dradeity.
Ranma: Reveal the Gateway to the Lost Dimension. Luminize. Dimension Gate.
Ion: Buddy...FIGHT!!!
Both: Raise the Flag. Dragon World.
Ion: Ranma goes first.
Ranma: Draw. Charge & Draw. I call Dimension Dragon, Agonia to the center.
Agonia enters play with a growl.
Garga: I have never seen that monster before. It looks hideous.
Hou: It's a Dragon but... something's wrong.
Ranma: If you're done squabbling, I have a fight to finish. I cast. D Suction. I destroy Agonia.
Agonia's destroyed.
Hou: He destroyed his own monster?
Ranma: With D Suction, I gain 1 life and draw 2 cards. And with the destroyed Agonia's effect, looking at the top 4 cards of my deck. Two of them to my hand and the other to my gauge.
Ion: That's new. All of a sudden, Ranma has 9 cards.
Ranma: I call Dimension Dragon, Ire, to the center.
Ire is summoned.
Ranma: Ire. Go Attack the Fighter.
Ire fires its cannons.
Ranma: When Ire attacks, I look at the top 3 cards of my deck. I add one to my hand.
Ire's attack hit, causing 2 damage.
Ranma: My turn is done.
Masato: Increasing his hand right at the start. He must be drawing something big. But what?
Agito: It doesn't matter what he's got. Our boy got this.
Hou: Draw. Charge & Draw. I'll start by equipping Garblade. (Does So) Garbird to the left. And I buddycall Garga to the right.
Ion: Right of the bat, Hou summoned his allies, and buddy called. Our Ace of games is not holding back.
Hou: I cast. Deity Dragon Tribe's Banquet. I increase my gauge & life by 2.
Ranma: So What? Dragotrap. (Pays Cost)
Garga cannot attack.
Garga: This again?
Hou: Drats. Garbird, Attack Ire.
Garbird: Leave it to me. (Attacks)
Garbird destroys Ire. Now Hou attacks with Garblade and deals 2 damage.
Hou: (Attacks Again) I don't know what's wrong with you. But I will un-brainwash you from your mindset.
Ranma: I cast. Blue Dragon Shield. (Blocks the attack and gains one gauge)
Hou: {Struggling} My turn is over.
Ion: Hou used three cards, but he only managed to deal 2 damage. Our Ace of Games is using minimal effort. Now, it's Ranma's turn. What is he going to do?
However, Ranma seems very angry and displeased. His eyes are blocked by shadow as he looks down.
Ranma: What's wrong with me, you ask? You've got some nerve to say that.
Hou: What?
Ranma: WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME? HOW DARE YOU ASK ME AS IF YOU STILL CARE ABOUT ME?
Hou: I...
Ranma: ZIP IT. I'm just sick of it. SICK OF EVERYTHING. You just had to accomplish everything and leave me behind. You're nothing without me, you know, you traitor.
Hou: Wh..What are you talking about? I never leave you behind. If I did, I wouldn't be feeling concern for you right now.
Ranma: SILENCE. You just had to outshine me in everything. Games. Study. Buddyfight. Seeing you overwhelming opponents. Befriending them left and right. You just had to leave me, your only friend, behind.
Hou: {Hurt} Ranma...
Garga: Jealousy has consumed him...
Ranma: I want you down so bad. Remember that day when you fought Daryl? I was the one who gave him your battle info.
Hou & Garga: WHAT?
Ion: Is that true?
Daryl: It is...but Hou won that day, eliminating me from the tournament.
Ranma: You just had to win. WIN I SAY. This made me want to destroy you further. In fact...I was the one who gave Jasraj and Da Dan our channel password. Enabling them to hack.
Hou & Garga: {Frightened} NO...
Hou & Garga remember the battle against the two. When returned to the present, they are more frightened than ever. Mostly Hou because he can never believe his friend did such a thing.
Hou: But...Why?
Ranma: So that you can experience what it's like to lose everything like I did. You just had to have everything. (clench his fist) It's truly sickening.
Hou: All this time...it was you? Ranma, Why...
Ranma: Enough. I don't want your sobbing. In fact, I've been meaning to try out this new power of mine.
Ranma holds out a card in a menacing manner. The young boy smiles in evil again. The card is surrounded by dark thunder. Everyone stares in shock. The card sparks stronger and stronger, and Ranma yells out loud. All of a sudden, the same mysterious entity appears behind him, and Ranma once again is surrounded by power in the form of a windy tornado. The tornado is so strong that everyone is forced to block themselves from the wind as they shriek.
Ion & Tako: WARP. (Teleports away)
Hou: What's...going on?
Garga: It can't be...
The power is ominous and versatile. It strikes him down all of a sudden, his entire appearance changed.
Hou: What in the what?
Ranma's hairstyle has changed, not wearing a hat and having spikier hair. He wears long black pants, along with a grey and maroon long coat with a maroon shirt underneath, along with a red cape.
Masato: He's changed?
Daryl: What the...
Ion: Say what? Say what? Say What? Ranma suddenly becomes this??? That red cape. Those shoes. And that spikey hair. IT'S OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Cross: I sense power beyond anything behind him.
Agito: Yet it feels scary...
Ranma: (Holds out a card high) Behold !!!
Hou: What is that card?
Ranma: Cover the Flag. LOST WORLD.
Ranma's flag suddenly changed into a black and monstrous flag. It takes the form of a devious three-faced monstrous skull.
Hou: He changed his flag in the middle of the game.
Ranma: Not just the flag. Behold. The power of Lost World is unlike anything the world has ever seen.
Once again, dark lightning surrounds the atmosphere, and a dark vortex appears, sucking all of Ranma's entire deck inside.
Garga: His deck !!!
Hou: It's being sucked inside that vortex.
Ranma: Indeed, it has. And now, I shall unleash the power of Lost World. BY SUMMONING MY LOST WORLD DECK.
The vortex disappears, and suddenly, a crack in the stage just appears, and a portal to another dimension appears.
Garga: A portal has been opened. Connected to another dimension.
Ranma laughs high and evil. All of a sudden, out of the portal, cards flow out. But they are corrupted and dark. It's completely new as they also flow around the villainous boy.
Ranma: The gateway to the dimension has been opened. The vile demonic dragon roars.
The cards gather in his right hand before he shuffles them.
Ranma: Deck change. Lost Vanity Dimension.
Suddenly, the mysterious entity that's behind him takes the form of a vile dragon. He takes the form of a large, monstrous dragon with 2 skull-like shoulder pads that envelop him like a shell. He has green eyes and a red and black color theme, overall having a nightmarish-like frame.
Ranma: Vile Demonic Dragon, Vanity Husk... DESTROYER !!!
Everyone's surprised. Most are terrified as their jaw drops.
Hou: That's Ranma's Buddy ???
Garga: Vanity Husk...
Garga realizes in shock as he finds that monster familiar. A flashback reveals that long ago, Destroyer is the same entity that Garga faced in the same mysterious dimension that's revealed in chapter one.
Garga: YOU !!! But I thought...
Hou: What's wrong, Garga?
Garga: I can't explain much. But Hou...WE MUSTN'T LOSE. YOU HEAR ME?
Hou stares at his buddy in worry. Then he looks at his friend. Ranma grins menacingly while Hou stares in worry and fear.
Hou: What in the world is going on?
Ranma: Draw. Charge & Draw. Allow me to show you what Lost World can do firsthand. Iregeit Delusion to the left.
Iregeit: (Appears) Now, let's have some fun.
Ranma: Agoniagill Dlhyvalam to the center.
Agoniagill: (Appears) This is my true power.
Ion: Wh Wh Wh WHAT??? I have never seen those monsters before.
Daryl: So those are Lost World Monsters...
Masato: But it looks scary...
Garga: Those Monsters are not to be underestimated. If anything, they are beyond the reason of Buddyfight itself.
Ranma: Can we just get on it with? Iregeit, Attack Hou.
Iregeit attacks.
Ranma: Due to the effect, I draw one card.
Hou receives 2 damage, 9 life remaining.
Ranma: Double attack.
Another 2 damage, 7 life remaining.
Ranma: Triple Attack !!!
Garga: Triple Attack !?
Hou: Cast. Deity Green Dragon Shield. (Gains 3 life)
Masato: Nice One.
Ranma: Agoniaghyll, follow him.
Hou: Cast. Blade Dragon Shield. (Blocks the attack) I draw one card.
Ranma: My turn is over. Now, do your worst.
Ion: Ranma called two new monsters and was able to increase his hand. But, Hou was able to hold on with 10 life remaining. However, he seems to be on the ropes as he only has 1 card left.
Hou: So that's the power of Lost World...My turn. Draw. Charge & Draw. Cast. Gar-Oracle. (Pays 1 gauge) I draw two cards. And gain 2 life. Garga. Attack the center.
Garga: (Attacks) As you wish.
Garga successfully destroys Agoniaghyll with a swing of his sword.
Ranma: When Agoniaghyll is destroyed, I gain 3 life.
Ion: What? Now Ranma has 10 life too.
Hou: Doesn't matter. Double attack.
Garga strikes again, another 2 damage.
Hou: G-EVO Activate. Change. Gargantua Dragon Blast Mode.
Garga: (G-EVO) Blast Mode.
Ion: It's G-EVO time. And with Blast Mode, Garga's two attacks cannot be blocked. He's unstoppable.
Ranma: Pathetic. Cast. Dragotrap. (Pays cost)
Garga once again cannot attack.
Ranma: You fell for that a second time? Haven't you learn anything, Hou? I'm stronger. And I'll always be. After all, who knows you best? ME!!!
Hou: You do know me best, I admit. But I'm not the same as last time, my man. Cast. Gargantua Switch Mode. G-EVO Again, Garga. This time to Sonic Mode.
Garga: Good Call. (G-EVO) Sonic Mode !!!
Hou: I gain 2 life points. And I draw 2 cards.
Hou notice he drew Deity Gargantua Punisher. He stares sternly.
Hou: [Let's win this] One More Time, Garga.
Garga: As you wish. (Attacks)
Ranma: Cast. Dimension Absorb.
All of a sudden, a dark portal opens in front of Garga, and it sucks him in.
Ranma: I nullify the attack...
Garga is back, but...
Ranma: I deal 2 damage to the opponent.
12 life left.
Ranma: And I gain 2 life.
8 life now.
Hou: Then I might as well finish you off alone. (Attacks)
Hou swings Garblade twice, causing 4 damage. 4 life left.
Hou: Garbird, you as well.
Ranma: Cast. Blue Dragon Shield. (Blocks the attack) What's Wrong, Hou? I thought you said you're not the same. Is that really all you can do? I know you have that super rare toads aces Impact card in your hand. (Eyes Widen) So COME ON. USE IT. I DARE YOU.
Hou: You asked for it. Final Phase. I cast. (Pays cost) Deity Gargantua Punisher.
Impact Sequence...
Hou: IMPACT. DEITY....GARGANTUA....PUNISHER.
Punisher goes forth for the blow, and all of a sudden it hits Ranma. Smoke comes out of his side alongside a massive explosion, and everyone's shocked.
Daryl: He Did It.
Masato: For Share.
However, as the smoke clears and Punisher still stands, some sort of cell is blocking the sword. And Ranma's inside. When everything clears, Ranma stands up while laughing in evil.
Ranma: (Laughs) Even the invincible Deity Gargantua Punisher is No Match for me.
Everyone's shocked.
Hou: But... How ???
Garga: Our Impact... was defeated ???
Ranma: Heh. (Holds out a spell) It's all thanks to this spell.
A flashback reveals that the spell Ranma uses is...
Ranma: Cast. Vanity Cell.
Flashback ends.
Ranma: With this spell, none of your damage is possible. Not even your Impact. If anything, I'd say Deity Gargantua Punisher should be known as Deity Gargantua FAILURE.
Hou: {Angry} Why you...
Ion: Impossible. Deity Gargantua Punisher was blocked. Our Ace of Games Final Trump card was stopped with ease. Incredible. Lost World is really strong.
Ranma: I told you. I know you best. I've known you ever since we entered this school. I know how you fight. I know how you play. I basically know your every move. So you can just give up now, because your defeat is inevitable.
Hou: Who says I'm giving up? I'm not going to lose. Just watch me. [I have two defense spells in my hand, and I have 12 life left. Garga's on my field, able to move with a three-card soul. I can do this.]
Ranma: Draw. Charge & Draw. I cast. Dimension Razor. I destroy two cards on your field.
Garga & Garbird lose one card in their soul.
Ranma: Equip. Vile Demonic Gun, Lostless Buster. (Equips a weapon)
Masato: The freak is that???
Agito: Some Item he got...
Ranma: Now tremble in fear. Quake in terror. And Be Consumed by Despair. I buddycall Vile Demonic Dragon, Vanity Husk Destroyer to the right.
Ranma gains one life & Destroyer finally appears on the right.
Destroyer: My Name is Vanity Husk Destroyer. I am a deity that brings despair to the infinite cosmos. I will destroy everything that comes in my way and fulfill my buddy's wishes no matter what.
Ranma: Vanity Husk Destroyer. Size None. 30000 power. 10000 defense. A critical of 3. He's traversed beyond dimensions in order to become my buddy.
Garga: Vanity Husk Destroyer. It just had to be you. Why...(clenches his fist)
Hou: Garga?
Garga: Hou. Like I said earlier. Do Not Lose. If you want to save your friend, YOU MUST WIN.
Hou: Loud And Clear. I don't know what his buddy does, but I won't lose.
Vile Ranma: Your resistance is futile. Iregeit. Destroy Garbird for Me.
Iregeit defeats Garbird.
Garbird: I'm sorry Hou... (Destroyed)
Hou: GARBIRD.
Vile Ranma: Double attack. And Triple Attack.
Hou receives two damage twice, leaving him with 8 life.
Vile Ranma: (Attacks Garga) Lostless Buster's effect. I draw one card. And my opponent must discard one card from their hand.
Hou is forced to discard one.
Hou: Cast. Deity Green Dragon Shield. (Blocks the attack)
Garga: Thanks, Hou.
But somehow, Hou's life didn't increase.
Hou: Why didn't my life increase?
Destroyer: Because I'm responsible.
Hou: Huh?
Destroyer: As long as I'm here, you can't gain a single life.
Masato: Say what?
Agito: Impossible.
Daryl: This is bad. Now Hou has no cards in his hand.
Cross: Not good...
Vile Ranma: Double attack. (Attacks Garga)
Garga now loses a soul card.
Vile Ranma: Destroyer. Attack Garga.
Destroyer: I shall grant that wish. (Attacks) Dimension Door, Origin. I send one of the opponent's cards to the dropzone. That card is you. Fall from sight, GARGANTUA DRAGON. (Shoots him through cannons)
Garga loses another soul card. Destroyer attacks with one last beam, and that beam immediately eliminates Garga slowly. Garga tries to block with his shield, but it's no use as the beam slowly pushes him back.
Garga: Hou....I'm sorry....I can't...survive this....any longer!!!
Hou: {Despaired} GARGA !!!
Garga is destroyed in slow motion...Hou watches this in despair and horror as he falls to his knees. Everyone's in shock. Ranma smirks.
Ranma: Destroyer has double attack. Defeat him.
Destroyer: I shall grant that wish. (Attacks) Dimension Door Origin.
Now Garblade is destroyed, and Destroyer attacks Hou, leaving him with 5 life left.
Ranma: No buddy. No Item. No Hand cards. How does it feel to be in my shoes? You've lost everything. Hope. Love. Everything.
Hou: No way...
Ranma: In fact, I have a little surprise for you. Like you, I have my own toads aces card. An Impact that deals 10 damage. VANITY ZERO BLAZER.
Ion: Did he say 10 Damage ???
Masato & Daryl: How Can this Be???
Ranma: Final Phase. (Pays 3 gauge) Cast. Vanity Zero Blazer. DO IT. DESTROYER.
Destroyer floats up. He goes up into Skull form. Slowly he starts up a yellow light beam. It starts charging up before firing at will.
Ranma: Impact. Vanity Zero Blazer !!!!
The Impact Fires at the target. Watching this in horror, Hou takes the damage. Finally, Hou's flag is out.
Ion: Game Over...The Winner is...Ranma...
The Crowd cheers loudly. Masato, Daryl, Agito & Cross are in shock.
Masato: Hou...Lost.
Daryl: Insane...
Cross: Lost World...What power.
Agito: It's too strong...
Meanwhile, on Hou's side, Hou was still standing while his eyes were blocked by shade. But...Hou has received a massive amount of damage. His face is quite wrecked, and his body has wounds. Slowly, he falls down on stage. Garga immediately comes out of his card and wakes him up.
Garga: HOU !!! Oh my goodness. Somebody. Help.
Daryl: Cross. Get me down there.
Cross: On it.
Cross flies up and forward and transform into his full form. Daryl, Masato & Agito rides onto him and the latter carries them to Hou's side. When made it, they go check on Hou in rush effort.
Masato: Hou, come on. Wake up, man.
Daryl: Get a hold of yourself. Hang on.
But Hou is still wrecked and has fainted. Meanwhile, Ranma & Destroyer watch them in disgust.
Ranma: That's what you get for betraying me. Now you've seen it firsthand what I can really do. I'm leaving this ridiculous place for good. Don't ever come and find me.
Garga: {Angry} Ranma...
Ranma: In fact, if I see you within 10 feet of my distance, I will not hesitate and eliminate you on sight.
Garga: You... (Transforms into full form & attacks) DARE HURT MY BUDDY.
Ranma: Destroyer.
Destroyer fires at will at Garga. Blasting him on sight. Noticing this in shock, Garga blocks the attack using his swords.
Destroyer: You sure are persistent, Deity of Combat. But Next Time We Meet, I won't be so merciful.
Garga: (Still on the offense) Why you.
Destroyer starts destroying the stage and thus creates smoke and blocking Garga from attacking further. The stage starts to collapse as the earth rumbles like crazy on its own. Cracks are made everywhere, and everyone is shocked.
Ion: OH MY GOODNESS. EVERYONE, EVACUATE NOW.
Everyone evacuates in a rush while screaming.
Garga: Oh No. Get Everyone to Safety. HURRY.
Agito: But What about Hou?
Garga: Pass Him To Me. Hurry !!!
Masato & Daryl carry an Unconscious Hou and pass him to Garga. Garga immediately carries Hou away, and everyone quickly evacuates to the outside. Time has passed, but luckily, everyone made it out. But the stage has crumbled to the ground, and everything is in ruin.
Garga: (Shrieks in Anger) DESTROYERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR !!!!!!!!!

Masato: Masato here. Hou's in a coma and everyone's worried about him. What's going to happen next? Next time, "Hopeless". Join us in a buddyfight...
