Synopsis: Daryl finally made up his mind. Thus making him a big target for the enemy. Meanwhile, Seiji discovers a hidden truth and challenges Daryl to "un-prove" that hidden truth.
A bright morning shines above Hou's House. Hou's Mother wakes up from her bed and gets ready for the day. As she's about to make breakfast, she's in shock that breakfast was already made on the table. A bunch of sunny-side-up dishes with baked beans and sausages. Everything was set nicely as it sparkled like a bright diamond.
Hou's Mother: What's all this?
???: Oh. Good Morning, Ma'am.
Cross is there holding a tray of delicious drinks.
Hou's Mother: Did you make all of this?
Cross: I sure did.
Hou's Mother: My... Thank you, Cross.
Cross: It's nothing much. Come on, enjoy yourself.
Hou's Mother: Hold on. I noticed there are only two plates. Weren't there supposed to be more?
Cross: If you mean Hou, Garga, and the Gar Trio, yes. They've already eaten and gone out.
Hou's Mother: What? Hou waking up earlier than usual? That's a first. Where are they?

At a park, Hou, The Gar Trio, and Garga are training. They are doing some exercise, practicing their martial arts and skills, nonstop. Everyone else nearby is watching in confusion. A few minutes later, everyone decides to take a break.
Hou: (Sigh & wipes sweat off forehead) Morning workout...absolutely exhausting.
Garga: That's training for you. We did this in other worlds, too.
Hou: But to do it this early? Man, I'm nuts.
Garga: Don't be. I'm glad we took this opportunity to exercise. Training sharpens the mind after all.

Garbird is somehow asleep. Everyone else feels awkward while smiling.

Hou sits down on a bench and takes a drink of water. He picks up his phone and notices something in shock. He spits out his drink in shock.
Hou: What? Guys, take a look at this.
At Hou's call, everyone looks at the footage??? The footage reveals that Daryl and Vile Ranma are meeting up??? Everyone's shocked and worried.
Garga: What's going on? Daryl & Vile Ranma are together?
Garcat: Is Daryl trying to become Vile Ranma's ally?
Garbird: And I'm not sleepy.
Hou: Daryl...what are you doing?
Elsewhere, Seiji, sitting at a random bench, also watches the footage in shock.
Seiji: It can't be...What in the world is happening? And why would Vile Ranma post this footage?
At his base, Vile Ranma looks at the same footage with evil smiles while sitting on his chair.
Vile Ranma: Why would I reveal this footage, you ask? It's simple. (Serious) My patience is wearing thin. Daryl, you'd better make up your mind, or else you will regret it. If you know what's good for you.
At his House, Daryl, who's looking out at a window, while the footage is behind him, and beside him is the same Lostrizer card that he had received long ago. Back at the park, the five friends decide to come up with a plan.
Hou: I can't let Daryl join Ranma's side.
Garcat: Why, though? I mean, it's just Vile Ranma enhancing buddies and all.
Garga: It's worse than that. Destroyer can corrupt every monster he comes across. Friend or Foe alike, all goodness is wiped.
Hou: And thus it happened to Seiji & Daijirou's buddies. And if Daryl's next, then that's bad news.
Gardog: But wait, Cross is on our side. Don't tell me that Ranma's planning to kidnap Cross or anything to corrupt him.
Garga: Possible, yes. We need to get home right now to protect Cross.
Garcat: But what about Daryl? I mean the footage...
Hou: Right now, I'm not sure if he's planning to join or not. But if he does, he might come to our house and take Cross back, too, and join Ranma as an ally. No way that's happening. Not on my watch.
Everyone looks at Hou in a serious mood. Later, at Hou's house, Cross was saddened by the news he received.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. When Garga opened the door, he was shocked.
Outside Vile Ranma's base, Light and Geil, who are hiding in a tree, are scouting the base without being spotted. Light is also looking at the base through his binoculars.
Light: I'm getting tired of this. Commissioner wants me to do surveillance, and even though we found him, he told us not to take action.

Vile Ranma: What did you say?
Daryl: I said no. I'm not going to become your ally.
Vile Ranma: (Turns around in shock) What?
Daryl: Why do you think I came here in the first place? I pretended that I was conflicted about joining you in order to get close to you. And after what I saw, I made up my mind.
Vile Ranma: {Angry} What...
Daryl: At the same time, once again I ask, return Seiji to me. And also...return to Hou. Now.
Vile Ranma: Hahaha. You must be joking. I didn't force Seiji to join me. He joined of his own free will. And as for that scumbag Hou, I want nothing to do with him.

Vile Ranma: Give it back. If you're not going to join me as an ally, return that Lostrizer Card I gave you.
Daryl: That's no longer in my hands.
Vile Ranma: What?

At the Buddy Card Office, the Lostrizer card is placed in a sealed case and is delivered to Tasuku???
Tasuku: This was addressed to me? By whom?
Jack: It says it's anonymous. At first glance, it looks like a regular card. But I sense power radiating from that card. And that power is extremely similar to that Vanity Husk Destroyer.

While Tasuku looks serious, Daryl walks away, while Vile Ranma catches up to him.

Destroyer starts to attack. As Light & Geil are about to take action...
Daryl: GAR TRIO.
The Gar Trio suddenly comes out in response and prepares their camera work. Spots on Destroyer are non-stop and stopping him.
Vile Ranma: Wait, Destroyer.
Garcat: We're witnessing live action people.
Vile Ranma: What do you think you're doing?
Gardog: Just doing some video work.
???: I wouldn't try anything else if I were you.
Then Hou & Garga come out of their hiding spot behind Ranma.
Vile Ranma: Hou? Garga?
Garga: We heard enough of your farce. We're not letting you lay a finger on Daryl.
Vile Ranma: This was all a setup !???
Garcat: That's right. We'll release the footage to the net if you try anything horrible.
Garbird: And then you'll have no new allies at all.
Daryl: Destroyer will be sent to the Buddy Police. And you'll lose all Buddyfighter rights. Of course, this would mean you can't participate in the playoffs.
Destroyer then returns to Card Form and returns to Vile Ranma's side. Light & Geil are surprised.
Hou: Ranma. Don't make this worse for yourself. (Lends a hand) Just come back to us, please.
Vile Ranma: GET OUT. I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR PETTY SQUABBLING.
Hou feels a little heartbroken and in shock. Garga comfort taps his shoulder, and they all close their eyes and leave. Everyone else also follows suit.
Hou: (defeated sigh) Some things never change...
Garga: Still, the plan worked brilliantly.
Flashback.
Garga: I stayed at home to protect Cross.
Hou: The Gar Trio & I went to Daryl's place to stop him, albeit failing.
Daryl: I went to Hou's place to ask for backup, despite Garga's skepticism.
Garga: But in the end, I accepted his request. We changed tactics and gathered at Ranma's base.
Hou: We discussed the plan in secret and lay low in position.
Daryl: And once I came out, the true counterattack began. Allowing us to stop Ranma for a short time.

Hou: Although when Seiji arrived earlier, me and Garga had to move out of the way without getting spotted. The same thing when Ranma came out before moving back in.
Daryl: Yeah...thanks for saving me back there. Now. There's one more thing I have to do.

Hou's Mother: (Wipes tears off) I guess today's the day we say goodbye to our hardworking guest.
Suddenly, Cross starts to glow gold. Everyone stares in surprise. Meanwhile, in the middle of the night, outside at Vile Ranma's base, Seiji is playing chess all by himself, angrily...
Seiji: That Vile Ranma...I'm only bait??? (Use Queen to violently smash King Piece) Fine, I'll show him that I'm more than just Bait.
Seiji checks his phone and selects Daryl through the website to challenge him. The next day, at a stage, the two fighters gather once again.
Ion: In today's match of the playoffs, we have these two fighters facing off once again.
Tako: The Genius Chess Prodigy versus the Ace of Study. Oppress vs Formation. Which side will win?
At Gwen's Cafe.
Masato: I gotta say, I saw the footage too. Me & Agito were genuinely shocked.
Agito: I'm just glad it all worked out in the end. Truly, that was worrying.
Gwen: But why are Seiji & Daryl fighting again?
Hou: I'm not sure. But... Daryl's gonna turn the tide today.
All (minus Garga): Huh?
Seiji: Now...Let the games begin. Luminize. Lostknight Control.
Daryl: I'm guided by the celestial stars. Luminize. Galaxy Triangulum.
All: Buddy...FIGHT.
Both: Raise the Flag. Star Dragon World.
Ion: Seiji has the first move.
Seiji: Draw. Charge & Draw. I buddycall Nero Lance to the right.
Nero: (Appears) Yes, Master Seiji. I shall do my master's bidding.
Seiji: Equip. Grandmaster Cane. (Equips Item) Nero Lance. Attack the fighter.
Nero Lance pierces through Daryl's chest. 8 life remaining.
Seiji: Nero Lance!!!
Nero: Oppress Activate. (Oppress Daryl's left)
Ion: Just like last time, Nero Lance just occupied Daryl's left.
Seiji: Grandmaster Cane's ability. Nero Lance stands and one damage to the opponent.

Seiji: My turn is over.
Nero: (Stabs the ground) Subjugate. Subjugate.
5 life left.
Seiji: My turn is over.
Daryl: Seiji. I want to ask. Why did you join Ranma?
Seiji: Huh?
Daryl: You're not the type to be obsessed with power. I know you want to surpass me, too. But something's off. What changed?
Seiji: Hmph. Like you want to know.
Daryl: You're right. I do want to know. And perhaps I'll find my answer by beating you. Draw. Charge & Draw. I equip...Skyseer Bow, Kaus Alnasl. (Equips a new bow)
Ion: Oh..A New Item.
Daryl: Seerfight Dragon, Sultallion to the right.
Sultallion: (Appears) The stars have guided me here.
Tako: And a new monster.
Daryl: And Now...I buddycall Skyseer Ardent Dragon, Cross Farnese Astrologia to the center.
Cross then appears in the center in a golden light. He becomes a beautiful Astrodragon with golden armor and blue diamonds with pink and purple diamonds and highlights, and two golden, four-pointed star-shaped floating shields with a red diamond-shaped gem at the center and purple matching shaped diamonds on each point. His eyes are sky blue, and his tail is bushier with pink, purple, and blue highlights and golden rings wrapped around. He has a blue diamond embedded in his chest. His dragon claws are yellow and blue.
Cross: Behold my new form.
Ion: WHAT WHAT WHAT???? CROSS JUST....HE LOOKS EVEN MORE WHAT???
Amaterasu: My goodness. He looks even more beautiful than before.
Everyone else but Hou & Garga looks in shock.
Daryl: Skyseer Ardent Dragon, Cross Farnese Astrologia. Size 2. 6000 power. 6000 Defense. A critical of 2. My buddy has evolved and reached even greater lengths than before.
Garga: Monsters have the ability to change forms when reached certain emotions. It's called Evolution. When Cross joyfully reunited with Daryl, he was able to take on a greater shape.
Cross: Now. Let's test out my new powers.
Daryl: (Nods) Watch Closely, Seiji. Watch as your tactic powerlessly stops us. Shine Bright, Weapon of the Sky. Galaxy Formation Right. Activate.
Suddenly, all of Daryl's cards glow.
Seiji: It... It can't be!!!
Daryl: Normally, I require my usual strategy. But now, things have changed. With Galaxy Formation Right, my cards gain 5000 power & penetrate.
Ion: You can activate Galaxy Formation with a monster on the right???
Tako: Amazing, chu.
Masato: (cheers) For Share. That means Oppress is useless.
Agito: (cheers) Way to go.
Daryl: Sultallion's ability. Destroy Nero Lance.
Nero Lance loses a soul.
Ion: But Nero Lance revives with soulguard. And now Daryl's attacking it with Alnasl.
Seiji: Cast. Queenside Castling. (Blocks & gains 2 life)
Daryl: (Attacks) Double attack.
Seiji: Cast. Queenside Castling. (Same result)
Ion: Wow. Seiji cast Castling twice to block both attacks.
Seiji: I won't let you destroy Nero Lance.
Daryl: Cross.
Cross: As you wish. (Attacks)
The attack hits.
Nero: Master...I have faith in you. (Destroyed)
Ion: Nero Lance has been defeated. And the left position returned to normal.
Daryl: Double attack.
Cross: You're next, Seiji. (Attacks)
Cross dealt damage. 13 life left.
Daryl: Sultallion. Follow Him.

Daryl: My turn is over.
Ion: A Galaxy Formation that activates despite a monster being on the right? Incredible. Cross Farnese Astrologia is cool.
Tako: And now it's Seiji's turn again. Once again, he calls Nero Lance and oppresses Daryl's left but...
Daryl: Cast. Notify: Convertible Tactics. I draw a card and I move Sultallion to the left.
Seiji: Tch...Then I'll take the right.
Nero Lance oppressed Daryl's right.
Nero: Oppress, Activate.
Ion: Now Nero Lance just took over Daryl's left.

Daryl: Galaxy Formation Left, Activate.

Seiji: {surprised} Meaning my Giallo Maces now have no power, and Nero Lance only has a 1000. No...I can't do a thing.
Ion: What a shocking moment. With the ability and a spell used as a combo, Seiji's cards are reduced to like...a swat of flies.
Tako: Incredible, chu.
Seiji: Drats...my turn is over.
Hou: Galaxy Formation Left is for defense. And Galaxy Formation Right is for offense. They're like two sides of the same coin.
Garga: Well said, my buddy.
Masato: For share. They both are amazing. This means they have total control of the fight.
Gwen: It's his turn now. Let's see what he does.
Daryl: Cast. Notify: Enhancement Tactics. All of my cards...gain 3000 power.
All of Daryl's allies power up, and this made Seiji scared.
Daryl: Cross.
Cross: Leave it to me. (Attacks)
Cross destroys Giallo Mace, and everyone else follows suit. Leaving Seiji with 1 life remaining.
Daryl: Final Phase.
Seiji: Wha...
Daryl: Cast. Tri-Star Decision.
Impact Sequence.
Daryl: Impact. Tri-Star Decision.
The Impact finished him off.
Ion: Game End. Winner. Daryl Hoshino.
Daryl: It's all in the mind.
Masato: For Share. They both did spectacularly. Now I'm pumped for a fight too.
Everyone watches with smiles. But...not everyone is happy. Daryl then tries to speak with Seiji.
Daryl: Seiji...Please. Talk to Me.
Seiji: Shut Up. I don't want to hear it. Don't ever speak to me again. (Walks away)
Daryl looks worried as he watches his former friend walk away. Later at night, Cross & Daryl are on a small hill. Daryl looks at the stars through a telescope.
Cross: I never thought I'd be seeing the stars with you again.
Daryl: There's something I want to ask. When I banished you that time, why didn't you use your fortune-telling to see what I was thinking?
Cross: Well...I was afraid. I was really afraid that you were still angry at me. So I decided to give you space. I just really couldn't bear to see it.
Daryl: I see...Cross, I'm really sorry for banishing you. The truth is, I was worried that Ranma might do something to you or worse. That's why I kept you at a distance.
Cross: So you were protecting me this whole time. That's why you pretended to chase me away so that Ranma wouldn't suspect a thing.
Daryl: (Nods) I also received a Lostrizer card. It's how Seiji and Daijirou enhanced their buddies. It can alter one monster's form and emotions, twisting their minds. I couldn't let that happen to you. I'm really sorry.
Cross: It's okay. I knew that deep down you still cared about me. And I know that no matter what...We're buddies till the end.
The two look at the stars for one last time with smiles on their face. The stars shine bright as they twinkle in the bright purple night. Meanwhile, at Ranma's base...
Vile Ranma: From this day forward, I forbid you to select any opponent from the playoffs without my permission. Understood?
Seiji: Yes...[How dare you? Using me as bait and forbidding me to select any opponent? One day, I swear, I will dispose of you and become King. ]
Suddenly, they all hear footsteps below them.
Vile Ranma: Who's there?
Light then appears???
Light: Hey there. It's been a while.
Vile Ranma: Light Kurouzu? What are you doing here?
Light: It's simple, actually. (Serious) Let me be your ally.

Garga: Hey, Fans, once again, we're going to introduce one of our special cards.
Hou: And here's today's card. Here. Cross Farnese Astrologia. This is Cross's evolved form. And it has new abilities too. Not only does it have double attack and soulguard, but its Galaxy Formation evolved too.
Garga: For instance, if Cross is in the center and if you have a monster on the right, your cards gain 5000 power and penetrate. And if it's the same thing but with a monster on the left, your opponent's cards lose 5000 power instead.
Hou: And if you have an item equipped, your cards can't be forced to rest, and they gain 3000 defense. Left for defense, right for offense. Two sides of the same coin. You just have to decide wisely on which one to use.
