Welter looks at the message "fuck" and his eyesight goes dark before he opens his eyes and he's in a trench fellow kriegsmen stand near him looking over the trench and a Commissar yells at him "get your head back in the fight kriegsman" the Commissar grabs him and presses his las gun to his chest before yelling to the kriegsmen "get ready to go over the top!" Welter quickly gets ready and hears a whistle and the other kriegsmen climb over so he follows the kriegsman in front of him is hit by a stray round and his head is blown off but Welter continues to run, as he sees the trench he breaks into a sprint as a autogun round Flys by his head, when he makes it to the trench he dives into the trench and rolls to the side a bayonet stabed into were he landed and nurgle cultists aiming at him but his distraction lets fellow kriegsmen break through the line and as the nurgle cultists whip around to shoot the kriegsmen holes are blown in the cultists heads and kriegsmen pour into the trench and a grenadier offers his hand to help, Welter takes his hand and is pulled up, Welter grabs his las gun off the ground and cleans the mud off it, he follows his fellow kriegsmen and gets into a fire fight against cultists he shoots his las gun making a nurgle cultist head explode he then gets into cover as autogun rounds hit a rushing kriegsman and fly past Welter the grenadier from earlier throws a frag grenade and wipes out the cultists ahead, the kriegsmen welter is with, traverse through the trench killing cultists and taking trench lines slowly till the trench is wiped clean and the back of the trench is looking at a nurgle fortresses "fuck" a Commissar says as he stares at it and walks away to call in reinforcements, earth shakers shell the fort and a drawbridge drops allowing nurgle cultists as well as a few nurgle space marines to pour out of the fort, Welter fires along with the kriegsmen and the constant shooting is enough to make the nurgle forces retreat back into the fort and the Commissar yells "rest in shifts, we get reinforcements tomorrow and attack that disgusting fortresses" Welter gets first watch and he sees a woman walking to the trench naked, Welter feels suspicion "halt! You go get the Commissar" the woman stops and a kriegsman runs and gets the Commissar and he hears a gunshot of a bolt pistol and the Commissar storms up to Welter "this better be important" Welter nods and points at the woman "she may be a demon of Slaanesh" the Commissar raises his bolt pistol at Welter "wait sir i thought it was important since we would have two kinds of demons to deal with if this woman was a demon of slaanesh!" the Commissar lowers his bolt pistol "go out there and get her since you woke me up" Welter nods and climbs over the trench and he walks up to the woman snd she clings to him and whispers "good human take me to trench" Welter pushs the woman to the ground and shoots her in the head "good human? We don't say that to each other demon" Welter walks back to his trench and hears feminine laughing and the woman's body stands up and her skin turns pink and purple and a blade comes out of her arm and she appears in behind Welter and the awake kriegsmen shoot at her and welter is stabed through the lung "ugh f-..."
The arm blade is pulled out of him and Welter gasps trying to get air in his punctured lung while bleeding alot and he turns around and a grenadier throws his grenade pack, Welter lights a grenade and hugs the demon "only in death does duty end!" Welter somehow manages to scream before exploding in gore and everything goes dark
