Hades leaned on the wooden chair. His back creaked the chair as he leaned back enough for his head to straighten at the ceiling. His sight focus on the small black dot in the ceiling, in a daze as though he was watching something.
He never came her too often. He knew Aestus feared him and so he only came when there was something he needed from the man. The red haired fae was an easier target than all other fae who would stab him out of fear as Aestus would rather choose to cower than stab anyone.
It was also why he had brought Evangeline here. Other fae was far too dangerous. They would do anything just for harm and if he had brought Evangeline towards them who knows what they would do?
It was a good choice that he had considered to be by far the smartest yet for some reason leaving Evangeline alone makes him feel rather unhappy.
Why?
Hades hummed while he fall into deeper wonder.
Is he upset because he's worried that Aestus would offer some dangerous ideas to her?
