"How about you speak to him, Alexander? I'm sure he'll reconsider," Agatha said, standing beside her car.
Alexander's hand tightened around Adrian. The women had insisted they walk them to their car after Sebastian's sudden departure. Now, they were trying to convince him to ask Adrian to consider breaking up with his made-up partner.
Alexander's face was calm, but his insides were twisting with jealousy, he didn't even know he had over Adrian.
"I understand your heart is breaking for your son. But, like I said earlier, I'm only a boss to Adrian, my authority doesn't extend to his personal life –"
"It's alright, Agatha. I will speak to Adrian," Mrs. Devereux said as she walked over to hold Agatha's hand, smiling at her, "I'm sure he said all those things to get our Sebastian off his back. Young lads these days, they enjoy the chase. Let's go for a little shopping, I'm sure a little gift will change his mind." She gently pulled Agatha to enter the car.
