Dalia's POV
The second night passed without any sign of Orion, and dread began clawing at my insides with increasing intensity.
I turned toward Dary, desperation creeping into my voice. "When Orion left, did he mention exactly where he planned to go?"
Dary shook his head firmly. "Not really." His gaze drifted to Celina, who lay curled up on the couch in peaceful sleep.
Earlier that day, she had finally awakened. Dary had treated her with such gentle care, attending to her every need. Yet the girl remained frighteningly weak, barely able to stand on her own, let alone take care of herself. The thought of what horrors she must have endured made ice run through my veins. Soon, I would need to sit down with her, help guide her through the healing process both her body and mind desperately required.
Dary's voice pulled me from my thoughts. "All he mentioned was heading toward that cult building. Something like that shouldn't require days to handle."
