Seraphine's POV
The council chamber erupted like a volcano. Sharp intakes of breath and shocked whispers rippled through the crowd as the footage came to an end. For one suspended moment, absolute silence blanketed the room.
Then pandemonium broke loose.
"She's breathing!" Elder Steve roared, launching himself upright in complete disbelief.
"She played the entire High Council!" another Elder bellowed, his palm crashing against the wooden surface.
"She set Luna Seraphine up for murder!" a Mistwood pack member screamed.
"How did we miss this?" Kayne's voice was a dangerous rumble, his claws sliding free in raw anger.
"Conniving witch!" Theodore's snarl cut through the noise, his features contorting with rage.
"The High Council has been humiliated! Our entire judicial system is a joke!" An Elder from the far end thundered.
