Fred was in a business meeting with his board of directors when Mirabelle's call came through. He ended the call at first, but it rang over and over so he left the room.
He wondered why she was disrupting his meeting, shouldn't she be preparing for her press tour? At this hour of the day, she was Rae, why was she disturbing him?
Fred frowned a little and picked up the call.
"Babe." He muttered gently. Mirabelle had demanded that he give her a pet name rather than her real name especially when they were not alone. To Fred, she was demanding too much.
Maeve never cared about Pet names. She had been the one chasing after him for years, calling him different cute names he never valued. Fred was used to being chased and Mirabelle's little interference didn't sit right with him.
"What is it I'm seeing Fred Orchard?" Came Mirabelle's demanding voice.
"What's the matter now? You know shouting isn't nice for the baby." He frowned slightly.
