Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 06:KAITO AYANAMI ( CLAN HISTORY)

KAITO AYANAMI walked down the hallway. He had a cat, black in color, in his arms. She was a night and an S-rank pure spirit summon, and she was his.

His face was filled with sadness now as he was heading to a place he dreaded the most. THE AYANAMI SANCTUARY MEETING.

He had blackish blue hair and dark violet eyes, and wore a white yukata. Although they were in the 21st century, the Ayanami clan and all other clans were adamant on using the ancient way of dressing and living entirely.

There were three main clans of satsujin. Kaito knew this well since it was taught only to students of the three clans:The history of the Satsujin Hunters begins not with great armies nor mighty empires, but with a small band of visionaries who understood the threat of the Toku before the rest of the world could even name it. At the center of this awakening was Tenka Ryūto, the first man to discover Kannen—the energy born from human emotion. By harnessing its strength, he forged the path that would allow humanity to resist the Spirit Realm's horrors. Yet Ryūto did not walk this road alone. Around him gathered four allies whose names would echo across centuries: Kiyu Asahara, Raya Ayanami, Yuna Asakara, and Toru Hoshigane.Together, these five became known as the Pioneers of Satsujin.Tenka Ryūto – The Discoverer of KannenTenka Ryūto was a wanderer, a thinker, and ultimately, the one who first touched the energy of Kannen. His heart burned with righteous anger at the destruction caused by the Toku, yet it was tempered by compassion for humanity's suffering. It was Ryūto who unified the others under one banner, shaping their power into purpose. He is remembered not only as a warrior, but as a teacher, for his truest weapon was knowledge.Kiyu Asahara – The First Vessel

Kiyu Asahara, Ryūto's closest friend, was the first human to withstand the direct burden of hosting Kannen energy. Where Ryūto was mind and vision, Kiyu was spirit and endurance. His calm nature balanced Ryūto's fire. Many legends say it was Kiyu's steady hand that convinced others to trust in the dangerous experiment of wielding Kannen. To this day, the Satsujin oath—*"Stand as vessel, not master"*—is traced back to him.

The Ayanami Clan – Summoners of Pure SpiritThe founder of the Ayanami clan (Raya Ayanami)was the first to call forth a Pure Spirit from the veil of the Spirit Realm. Unlike corrupted Toku, this spirit was untainted, answering to the founder's plea not through dominance but through trust. Ryūto saw in Ayanami a power unlike any other: the ability to forge contracts of balance between man and spirit. The Ayanami believed that spirits were not enemies but allies—guardians of nature and reflections of humanity's own soul. Their pact-making became the cornerstone of their clan, and from the first summoner's lineage would spring the Summoner's Doctrine, which insists that strength without harmony is destined to collapse.---

The Asakura Clan – Masters of the Mind

The first Asakura was said to be a man of silence, a thinker who spoke little but understood much. Through Kannen, he unlocked telepathy, linking his mind with Ryūto's and later the others. It was through his gift that the Pioneers could fight as one, their thoughts shared like a single heartbeat. The Asakura clan carried forward his philosophy: that the mind must be as sharp as the blade. They developed arts of telepathic coordination, interrogation, and illusion, becoming the strategists and tacticians of the Hunters. To this day, every major Hunt carries the mark of Asakura discipline, for they are the unseen web that binds a squad into unity. The Hoshigane Clan – Elemental GuardiansThe founder of the Hoshigane clan was a warrior who sought to embody the forces of nature itself. By channeling Kannen, he broke his power into four branches: Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth. To Ryūto, this proved a vital truth—that Kannen was not limited to the body or mind, but could mirror the very fabric of existence. The Hoshigane became the shield and sword of the Hunters, devastating enemies with elemental force while protecting their allies with natural might. Though the four branches often quarreled, they shared one guiding creed handed down from their progenitor. However, unlike the other clans who kept their technique to themselves and never taught others, the hoshigane thought alot of people thier technique due to how vital it was."As nature protects itself, so must we protect the world."Though each founder possessed a unique gift, their bond of friendship was what cemented the Hunters' legacy. They were not merely comrades-in-arms, but brothers bound by vision. Around a fire, the stories say, they swore their vow: *"We shall be the wall that stands between man and Toku, until no more hearts are devoured."It was this vow that gave birth to the **Satsujin Hunters**, an order that grew from five into hundreds, then thousands. And while time has passed, every Hunter today carries within them the echo of those first friendships—the trust of Asahara, the harmony of Ayanami, the clarity of Asakura, the strength of Hoshigane, and the vision of Tenka Ryūto.'meow'night meowed softly.

" I know, I know we'll get to the sanctuary soon enough!"

Now all the clans lived in one place, it was a large place with three major settlements in which each of the clans resided. The building was an old Japanese model type. And in the middle was the sanctuary, where every member of every clan was to be present for the annual meeting. However, there could be some emergency cases where an emergency meeting would be called, which would then be given to the Asakara, as they could send telepathic messages to everyone.

Each clan had a leader, and after that, there was an overall leader to oversee all affairs. Then an assistant. to assist the leader.

Any way the reason why the sanctuary meeting was being called was nothing serious than to bless the children joining the academy this year.

But the truth was that. Kaito was weak, although Night is an incredibly powerful pure spirit summon. Kaito was weak and couldn't use her to her full potential. And everything was more complicated when they found out that he was the next leader of the Ayanami clan!

But Kaito knew the leaders of the clan were always the strongest ones, but in his case, 100 more were more powerful.
