Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

I woke up groggy today and realized my horse might be a bit hungry. I looked around, holding on to my horse, to see any nearby food source. I wonder what place I am in now in the race. I then see a bucket ahead and climb on my horse to walk to it. I drop down and look inside to see it's food. Odd, somebody probably left it; maybe it's the sponsors. I grab it and feed it to my horse, and it seems like he likes it very much. "Enjoying that?" A voice beyond a wall says. It comes out, and it's a guy in a purple outfit with some purple sheriff hat with a white feather on top. He had a purple jacket with small golden balls on some parts, purple pants, and some brown shoes.

"Hey, just so you know, those are mine." He said with a raspy voice, I decided either to just argue and forget it, or maybe he is dangerous and I should just run. "Sorry it was out in the open, and I thought it would be one of my sponsors." I said innocently, "I figured if I acted like I was naive and clueless, either he would doubt me or spare me." "Well, I could just spare you, or I could kill you with this gun." He pulls out a gun that has purple wings on its sides, and the rest is completely purple with some rose designs. I have a gun on the shoulder straps of my horse, but it's too far away. He could shoot me point-blank, so I am at his mercy. "I would shoot and kill you, but I can tell you're one of the contestants from that badge you're wearing." I remember that badge I got the day before the race!

"And it doesn't help that what he ate was human and entity flesh." My eyes widen in horror. This guy looked human, but was he a skinwalker? "And yeah, I am a skinwalker, but unlike most, I have a consciousness. Which means I think I'm superior, but I can only talk when I'm in a human's body. This body belongs to a deceased sheriff that went here, and I killed him. But I won't kill you because I believe you can survive and win; I'll spare you." He then walked away, telling me good luck silently. I am standing still right now trying to process what the hell just happened, but I won't have that luxury; I need to get on my horse now!

I jump on my horse, and we run around the level. It is quiet, too quiet. Then as I go into a dark hallway, I turn around; it's still dark. I decide to go forward, and now I feel like I'm somewhere new; it's dark. Nothing else is pitch black; I can't see anything. I feel like something is coming, but I can't put my finger on it.

Error: Picking up the recordings of him, we see glitching and disturbing audio, so we stopped it here.
