Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The First Awakening

The void around Staryo still hummed with the residual pulse from his first surge. Each heartbeat resonated like a drum across the infinite expanse of the Xotin Cosmos.

One planet gleamed brighter than the rest, floating like a jewel in a golden galaxy — Lytheria. Its forests shimmered, rivers flowed like liquid starlight, and mountains floated above the clouds, suspended by unknown energies.

As Staryo descended, he could feel the pulse of life across the planet — the heartbeat of the land, the hum of civilizations, the rhythm of distant stars.

"I can feel it… everything…" he whispered, awe-struck.

The inhabitants, Xotinians, humanoid and ethereal, paused in their movements, sensing the surge of raw cosmic power.

Suddenly, in a courtyard glowing with golden light, he saw a figure. Her hair shimmered silver-blue, and her eyes reflected twin stars. She radiated calm authority.

Aru.

Their eyes met, and a faint Twin Star symbol appeared between them, arcs of energy connecting their auras.

"Who… are you?" Staryo asked, awe trembling in his voice.

"I am Aru," she said softly. "You… are the Twin Star of the Cosmos. I have been waiting for you."

The energy between them pulsed, stabilizing Staryo's chaotic aura. He could feel the rotation of planets, the twinkling of stars, and the flow of cosmic currents.

Even now, pain flared briefly in his chest — a subtle foreshadowing of CART, waiting to be fully awakened.

"This… is only the beginning."

Aru's gaze lingered on him, calm yet heavy, as if she knew more than she revealed. The golden courtyard seemed to tremble for an instant, as though Lytheria itself was bracing for something.

Above them, a faint ripple spread through the skies, racing outward into the cosmos. Distant stars flickered. Somewhere, whispers began to stir.

Staryo shivered. Whatever this awakening was… it hadn't gone unnoticed.

And far beyond Lytheria, across the endless stretch of the Xotin Cosmos — something had already begun to awaken in return.
