After I had my bath, and the maids made we wear some kind of strap belt underneath my gown, making it all the more uncomfortable.
(Have pads always been so uncomfortable!, I'll have to do something about this ), I thought silently and expressionless, as I strolled along the court yard leading to the green house, Mother's usual retreat space, she had asked to see me once I was ready,... for some reason the walls almost felt alive, and they were watching me,
Servants stares seemed to stay on me longer,
(I wish I could just disappear ) I remained calm but, ...(Is it the hormones or something ) I was feeling overly self conscious..
I reached the green house, inside... Mother sat before a set table, a small brunch was ready, there was an empty sit next to here, obviously mine.
"Iris!, come in, don't just stand there" Mother eagerly exclaimed, gesturing I sit next to her,
"I had them make you a little something, since you missed breakfast "
" Oh, Thank you " sitting next to her.
After the meal, I was served some sweet honey-lemon tart, the flavory tangy sweet scent made my mouth water, I never had a sweet tooth, couldn't afford the luxury, since I get tummy aches anytime I had too-sweet things, so honey-lemon cake tarts became my bittersweet refuge.
"So..." Mother smiled a little awkwardly, taking a breath before continuing " aren't you curious about what happened this morning "
I paused with the spoon still in my mouth, (Right, shouldn't I be freaking out right now?, but I mean, ...I've already gone through it before... ) I swallowed hard,
" Did you perhaps already read about it somewhere? "
" Yes! " I retorted,
" Oh..., well what do you understand of it, as your mother I should educate you on it as much as possible, my mother taught me that "
(Aren't nobles supposed to sheid their young daughters from such inpure knowledge )
" Em... it's supposed to be normal, and ..." My eyes wondered the room, I thought hard about what to spill, (what am I supposed to know, just how much information could a book give, I need to be careful )
Mother sat still, quietly waiting for my reply,
"Keep Clean?..."
She tilted her head abit, "Is that all?"
"It...was a rather uncomfortable topic, so I didn't continue the book any further"
"Oh.okay" she leaned back on her sit, " Do you.... perhaps have any questions, are you feeling.... any par.ti.cular way?"
(I definitely wanna get out of this conversation, that's for sure )
" Hmm m mm " I shrugged.

The rest of the day was normal, apart from not getting a glimpse of Theo, he wasn't in the music room, or his room, not even my garden, he didn't even show up for our nightly tea.
It continued for the following week, I was worried about him, a thought even crossed my mind,
(Is he ... disgusted of me?, is that it? )
My heart felt heavy at the thought.
"I should never have let him get that close!, Men are all the same!, weather grown or young!" I wailed, without the tears
" You do realize this is a lesson, and I'm a teacher not a therapist ", Sir Karlot looked annoyed
" What color are my eyes Sir Karlot?! " Ignoring his remark,
He sighed briefly" True blue, milady "
" It's so deep!, you know it was only light blue this morning, I'm Soo hurt!!, why won't Theo see me?! " continued wail
" Are you that fund of your brother?, you almost never speak of him "
" I know, it might just be homones of becoming a grown up effect "
" Whatever it is, you need to concentrate for the lesson " putting down his book
I didn't say to word, just slumped my face on the deck, and laid there, the actual reason for this dramatic performance was because Sir Karlot could help me with my little predicament,
" Alright, I'll ask Miss Hughman to help set up a meeting between you two, tomorrow "
" Really?! "
" Yes, now stop being sooo.... unlike yourself "
" Of course!, Sir Karlot! " I smiled brightly, sitting upright
" That's even worse "
Sir Karlot and Miss Hughman.... were lovers, and only I know about their little secret.

"So you're saying Princess Lora, had a vision of when IRIS's womanhood cycle would begin, but misinterpreted it for a warning of spilled bloody"
Sylvester laid with his wife against his firm chest, fiddling with her hair,
" Yes, I'm not saying you should let your guard down, but it couldn't surely just be a coincidence, it happened the very next morning, she said to be wary for the holder of power in the family " Lauttha looked up at her husband,
He remained silent, unsure whether to agree with her, and doing so relive her of the fear and worry she had for his life, or maybe he should tell her that he didn't fear for his life at all,
"Honey, I'm not going anywhere" he kissed her forehead "How'd you survive without me?" He teased.
"What does that mean?!" Lauttha questioned furious
"You haven't exactly proven to be the wisest in the bunch"
" What?!!, if I'm so stupid then why did you marry me? " She tried to rise, fuming. But her husband grab her by the waist pulling her against himself,
" Where are you going? " He questioned, his tone was soft and seductive, their faces inches apart,
"I want to beat you to a pulp" she pulled back
"You've been so easy to pick on"
"Easy?, I am now easy?" She had a stunned look on her face, " you know what, I'll be sleeping in my chambers tonight " trying pull away from his hold, despite her best tries he wasn't budging even a little.
"Really?" He smirked, released his grip, but his hand went lower, under her ass, then he turned them over, with him now on top, her legs spread with himself in-between,
Instinctively she locks her legs behind him, "What are you doing? " She laughed
"Apologizing" He said simply, before claiming her lips in a fervent and ardent kiss,
She didn't resist, crossing one of her hand over his neck, while the the other dug into his hair, pulling him ever so much closer, as their lips moved in a perfect, flawless sync.
The rest of the house slept peacefully, while their parents moaned and rustled beneath sheets, Iris however, slept worried, yes. But peaceful still.
In the middle of night, when Iris's room was at it's darkest, two figures walking in, through the walls almost like they came along with the darkness, she laid still on her bed, one of the beings stayed by the door, and the other walked up to her bed,
It put a hand on the bed, reciting something under it's breath, quietly. Iris sank slowly into the darkest of her sheets, and then, they seemly walked back out where they came in.
Leaving the room untouched, they had what they came for.
