At the gates of the Inner Ring... a girl who had been fighting a terrifying Withering beast was hurled backwards.
He body skidded around on the white tiles, leaving behind a trail of blood. The withering beast that looked like a lion, but twice the size and with a mottled, and rotted skin had bit off a good chunk of her flesh.
The girl stumbled back to her legs. But she was dizzy due to to blood loss and using her skill more than intended during the last hour.
And in front of her... the withering beast was not alone. There were two of those hideous dog like creatures and something that looked like a walking puddle of rotted muscles.
It didn't have legs, hands, face or anything. It just devoured anything that came in its way.
'I can't let them go beyond the doors. It is very dangerous.' She was determined to protect the door to the inner ring at any costs.
