Chapter 128 - The king who has nothing!

Hearing this roar, Ashoka and I were quite taken aback, because we didn't think that someone in this prison would call Otaku by his name. So thinking about it, we looked at the otaku, who was not even paying attention to him, so we also didn't think about prying into his business and thought that it might not look good, so neither I nor Ashoka asked anything about it. But as we were moving forward, we saw that someone teleported right in front of Otaku with a tarnished state and with a smirk. Seeing his condition, we looked at each other and found out that we also were not looking that different from him, with the same shabby clothes and all muddy clothes. Well, this must have happened because when we were busy looking at that creep's fight, the dust was really insane, and the pond's water was also flying on every side, so to look better than him, we started to dust our clothes while Otaku and this new creep were staring at each other in a pretty intense tone.

Otaku looked at us and sighed while speaking: "So what do we have over here? The great king, who was as mighty as God, despite being a mortal, a person who managed to reach godhood but turned to such a state. May I know why the king appeared in front of me?" "Hearing his words, we were thinking that the person who was looking more like a beggar turned out to be a big shot, but his energy was strangely calm compared to his previous tone, and his composure was still full of anger and hate.

He spoke while maintaining his composure: "Otaku, even after ruining my life and my family, you have such arrogance to speak like I am the one who betrayed you, right? Making new buddies so that you can also betray them afterwards, right?" Hearing his words, we looked at each other because surely this guy was not spouting some random bullshit because Otaku's face was real dark, and it was certain that whatever this guy was saying, it had some kind of truth in it. Ashoka, looking at this entire mess, thought for some time and gestured towards me to play along. Seeing his gesture,

I also nodded while he spoke with a smile: "Buddy, I think you got the wrong guy here. You are telling us that this nasty bitch-type weirdo kicked you in the balls and betrayed you? Tell me, brother, and then we can make his master kick his ass!"

Hearing his words, everybody looked at him because the severity of the situation surely was pretty tense, and a single minor wrong move could invite trouble that surely won't just end with us because I was sensing that this king-type guy had something that was pretty dangerous for me, so I had to be extremely cautious around him. So hearing the words of Ashoka, Otaku was trying to speak,

But that king-type guy spoke with a smirk: "Looks like the quality of mortals didn't degrade with just my disappearance; that's a relief. But you bastard, Otaku, just why did you betray us? We treated you like family; my family even made you an important member of the family, so why?

Seeing that this guy was not spilling the beans, we looked at each other while speaking: "Hey, better tell us now, or we might not be able to keep up with you later on!" Hearing our words, he looked at Otaku while speaking: "You want to know what he did to me? Why don't you ask him only about the reason why he slaughtered my family, my kingdom, my everything, and forced me to be a prisoner of the dead realm!"

Hearing his words, we looked at Otaku because we were expecting him to keep up with him, but this creep didn't even answer and disappeared into thin air.

Seeing him leave without even saying anything, my and Ashoka's eyes were wide open, and we were forced to just stare at something this unbelievable. Like my single way to leave this realm, I left without even saying anything.

Seeing it, I remembered why I was feeling so insecure about my misfortune: it was because of these fuckers. Ashoka was looking around because he also surely didn't expect Otaku to disappear into thin air. Well now we couldn't do anything else but hear this creep's story. Seeing our frustrated faces,

He exclaimed in a frustrated manner, "See, this was what I was talking about. That bastard always betrays his friends and leaves them in such a state. What could you even have expected from a betrayer like him?" Hearing his words, I glared at him in a pretty cold manner because, due to this creep, Otaku left, and now this bastard was blabbering bullshit about him instead of telling us the story.

So I spoke in a composed yet cold manner: "Hey, if you have anything against that creep, better solve it with him, and if you have business with us, better tell us about it, but don't think that without telling your story, you can just randomly throw all sorts of shit on him!"

Hearing my words, he looked a bit frustrated, but controlling his anger a bit, he spoke: "Guess I can't even curse that bastard without telling you the tale of my tragedy, which consumed my entire kingdom and left me with nothing but sorrow and endless pain. So you want to hear 'The Tale of the King Who Has Nothing!'"

hearing his words. We nodded and started to sit on the floor while taking out drinks. Well, old stories always feel better with drinks, and as for Otaku, that bastard will surely return when his mood becomes better, but it was time to hear who this weirdo was and what happened that caused such bad blood among them. So as I was thinking about it,

He started speaking: 'Brats, I don't remember how much time has passed, but it was during the time of war, when these bastards were fighting against each other.
