I jumped immediately, hiding behind Alessandro while he turns swiftly facing Celia shielding him with my body.
"Give us a moment Celia" he dismissed her eyes irritated by the shift
"Do you seriously have to do this with every single thing that throws themselves at you?"
She added furiously.
"Celia!" He yelled furiously.
I ran out of the room in shame face covered.

I lay on the bed dabbing my eyes with another tissue. I felt so ashamed .... After all these years this is how I react to him, I was literally all over him and Celia had to see that.
I bawled more, my voice draining on the pillow as Camila rubbed soothing circles around my back.
"I was literally all over him babes….. you need to see me, I looked like a horny dog and Celia had to see that." I whispered sadly tears streaming down my eyes.
"Why did I fall for his charms so easily? I should know better with all I know about him. Now I'm among his list of flings." I sobbed harder.
"Stop blaming yourself love, anyone will be temped, heck I'll also be tempted. Besides you both had a deep and special bond. It's bound to happen and that man is literally a snack. Many women would pay heavily to be in your position." She replied calmly.
"How do I go to work then? What if Celia sees me around, she'll fire me without thinking twice."
"I don't think you'll cross paths with her anytime soon. You should be worried about Alessandro. He's finally seen you and with what you're telling me that man still wants you. You also still have to tell him about Lorenzo." She added
"I wonder how I'll do that without trying to rip his clothes off. It's like I'm lost and out of my damn mind when he's close to me." I cut back dejectedly.
" There's plenty of time, now he's seen you and I'm sure he already knows you are here and that you'll be working with the company since he saw you at the function. We just need to find a way to tell him the truth so he can meet Lorenzo as soon as possible."
I sighed taking in her words. I thought I had enough time but now he's seen me so I need to be strong, for myself and for Lorenzo. I didn't hide away for 8 years just to be this weak and pathetic.
"It's okay….. don't overwhelm yourself... we'll find a way around this…. I promise." She assured.

"You should be happy she doesn't remember you." Celia beamed as she cut out a piece of fabric.
"Yeah right….. who would even believe the 'almighty Alessandro' had anything to do with someone like me."
"What the hell babe? Have you seen yourself! Don't get me started please. Well wait till they find out he knocked you up..."she cuts in with a smirk.
"Camila!" I whisper yelled earning a deep chuckle from her.
"You know the truth will be out someday. You can't control the fact that your baby daddy is a billionaire." She replied same smirk still perched
Alice our team leader cuts in halting our conversation.
"Hello guys, the innovation meeting is starting soon, kindly head out to the boardroom."
Daniella our team mates cuts in instead.
"It's starting in 20 mins. Why do we have to go now?" She asked
"The CEO will be joining us for the first time. We should have a be there on time."Alice replied
Everyone shuffled around, fixing their hairs and make up. I turned quizzically to Camila who's doing the same.
"Why is everyone panicking?" I asked
"Cos it's the CEO! There are rumors of how strict and intolerable he is. We better get our ass up to the bedroom before we get fired for being late." She replied still in a hurry.
