The after-party begins shortly after Enzo finishes his heartfelt, surprisingly smooth address to the crowd. I follow him through the buzzing, decorated hall to our reserved table, his hand a warm, secure anchor in mine. He sits, and without a second thought, pulls me onto his lap, his arms wrapping around my waist as I settle against him. It feels natural, right, like the most comfortable seat in the world.
The night kicks off with an open mic karaoke session. A few brave and wonderfully tone-deaf fans take the stage, singing their hearts out to popular pop songs. The atmosphere is electric, full of laughter and genuine joy. I feel a swell of pride watching it all. Enzo had insisted the event be affordable, with free trivia contests for a chance to win tickets, ensuring fans from all walks of life could be here. I love how deeply considerate he can be, and the thought makes me feel incredibly giddy and warm inside.
