A colossal boat rowed in the sky, as it approached Cinderfall town.
Inside the boat, multiple figures clad in celestial black were kneeling in front of a woman who was sitting on a golden throne.
"Many issues have been bothering me lately, the Watchtower's incompetence, the lack of their presence when the flood happened...and there's a new threat besides the Ravagers and the Infidels... this displeases me!"
The atmosphere froze as her body released pressure that made everyone tremble, some in joy, some in fear and some in reverence.
"Quell your ire, Princess; such anger ill befits your grace." said an old man wearing a monocle, seeing the cold red eyes of the princess his reverence grew even more.
"Sebastian bring that boy here, was he Truce or Juice"
"Haha~, it is Bruce your imperial highness"
The old man wearing the monocle, Sebastian, clapped his hands as he summoned Bruce.
"Hail the Scion of the Celestial Bloodline.
Hail the Architect of our Imperial Destiny.
Hail the living embodiment of the Regime's glory.
I greet you, Your Imperial Highness."
Bruce greeted the princess as he bowed, he didn't dare raise his head and look her in the eyes.
"Multiple incidents happening in the same town including mass genocide... what a work of art, how many people died Sebastian"
'Mass genocide...I thought it was a storm?but a mere storm can't kill blessed ones'
Bruce had many questions but he didn't dare voice them out, he wasn't courting death.
Sebastian adjusted his monocle and inclined his head deeply before speaking.
His tone was smooth, reverent, but precise, like one laying out an official record.
"Your Imperial Highness, according to the Shadow Guards dispatched earlier to scout the ruins… the tally is grave.
Approximately ninety-five thousand are confirmed dead.
A further sixty thousand remain unaccounted for, most believed to be trapped beneath the collapsed districts underground.
As for the survivors… only two thousand are reported to have escaped the town.
Yet even their traces have been obscured , the rains washed away their footprints, erasing all signs of their path."
He paused, lowering his eyes further, as though even the numbers themselves were unworthy to meet her gaze.
"These are the facts, Princess, as your loyal scouts have relayed them."
The princess gave Sebastian a nod, the disappointment in her face was visible to all.
Those who were close to her knew very well what her expression meant.
Why didn't they all die and make my Job easier?.
The princess rose from her throne and with a single step, she appeared in the sky and loomed over Cinderfall town.
She raised her hand in the sky and darkness began to form, with the snap of her fingers the darkness took form.
A colossal Tomahawk, its length stretching a full 400 kilometres.
As she gazed down, her eyes were filled with more disappointment.
"[Fall]"
As she commanded, the heavens split as the colossal Tomahawk descended, its shadow swallowing the ruined town below.
Those kneeling within the sky-borne vessel pressed their foreheads harder to the floor, some weeping in ecstasy, others choking on terror.
'This...is madness!'
Bruce dared a glance, his lips trembling as the weapon's titanic edge cleaved through clouds and atmosphere alike.
"My Lord, there's no need for you to act personally"
Sebastian appeared beneath the falling Tomahawk and caught it with his fingers.
The impact and the destructive force of Tomahawk was not only absorbed by his body, but it was also dispersed to the environment clearing the clouds.
"Your Imperial Highness, do not soil your hands.
Let your executioner hold your will.
Place the command in my grasp and I will render them in the name of the Regime."
Sebastian began to cry as he got approval from the Kaiserliche Prinzessin, out of joy he retrieved his rapier and closed his eyes as he began to concentrate.
Sebastian was not someone who just possessed the Class 3 H-gene but he was also a desperado, someone who reached Demigodhood.
A Desperado's ability doesn't just get stronger; it evolves into a personal, innate law that they can impose on a local reality.
Upon reaching Demigodhood, desperados can cast domains. Within these domains they cannot only influence causality and Acausality but also the law of self related to their ability.
"I am the bone of her blade; her command moves through me.
No order shall remain undone,no life meant for judgment shall survive.
no law of the Regime shall falter, let there be light by my law.
I strike the guilty, I shield the faithful, I enforce her will, all shall witness her authority"
Upon declaring his oath, Sebastian slowly opened his eyes and raised his rapier to the sky.
"[Law of Execution]"
Bruce looked at the ground and within a second there was nothing but a giant hole spanning thousands of miles.
"W... what?!"
He understood instantly that the attack landed before it was thrown, because Sebastian had not moved his hand, his rapier was still in the same position.
'What is this??'
"May the emperor have mercy on their souls, may they serve the empire well when they reincarnate!!! "
People on the boat began to chant as they began to give worship, but they quickly bowed as Sebastian and the princess reappeared on the ship.
Bruce had many questions, why would such a strong, old man serve a young looking woman like the princess like that. Sebastian worshipped the very ground she walked on.
"This little town reminds me of when I met you, Sebastian. How long has it been since then."
"Ha! I was nothing but a young boy when you bestowed me your grace my Lord, it was 267 years ago the best day of my life"
Sebastian released a slash with his rapier and created a tear in space, the entire boat got surrounded by darkness and entered the rift as it disappeared into the void.
