Chapter 11 - Stopping the Bleeding While Cutting

"Captain, what is our next mission?"

"Don't ask if you shouldn't ask."

His little request was rejected, this damn Anbu rule.

Yoru followed Captain Antelope and waited at a small pier.

A few days later, they waited for their target.

An Uzumaki ninja team, and the captain was an acquaintance, Uzumaki Yuka.

Uzumaki Yuka saw Fox and felt a little more at ease.

"Captain Antelope, Fox, I didn't expect it to be you. Where is Horned Ox?"

Captain Antelope said: "Horned Ox sacrificed himself to scout the intelligence of the cloud ninja."

Uzumaki Yuka's face showed a look of shame: "I'm sorry, the Konoha ninja sacrificed for us, we will remember him."

"Konoha and the Hidden Whirlpool Village are allies, this is what we should do."

Yoru was a little surprised that Captain Antelope said such a warm word.

The two teams acted together, and Uzumaki Yuka wanted to seal a powerful ninja beast on the loose.

Taking advantage of the Uzumaki ninja's scouting, Captain Antelope said to Yoru, "Fox, take advantage of Uzumaki Yuka's affection for you and approach her. Especially during combat, be sure to stay close to her, within two steps.

Our goal is the Diamond Chain Scroll. If necessary, we can kill Uzumaki Yuka and frame the cloud ninja."

"Understood, Captain."

Beside a small lake, Uzumaki Yuka directed three Uzumaki ninjas to set three traps.

In each trap, a detonating tag was buried at the bottom, and above it was a large wire mesh.

Apparently, the intention was to blow the wire mesh into the air.

After setting the traps, everyone hid in the woods near the lake.

Yoru crouched in a bush not far from Uzumaki Yuka's hiding spot.

Unexpectedly, Uzumaki Yuka came to Yoru's side.

Together, they lay on the ground, their figures hidden by the brush, staring out at the lake.

The battles of ordinary ninjas weren't as dramatic as those of Kage-level ninjas. Most of the time, they engaged in dull searches, quietly crouching in the bushes.

Every ninja has their own survival wisdom, especially the weak, who must be more cautious.

Uzumaki Yuka whispered, "Fox, can you tell me your name?"

"Sorry, no."

A moment of disappointment crossed Uzumaki Yuka's eyes, but she quickly said, "I know you're Senju's spy in the Anbu, so you can't tell me. You can't take any risks."

Yoru didn't answer, neither denying nor admitting. His feigned mystery only deepened Uzumaki Yuka's misunderstanding.

Yoru searched his memory and found he had only seen a few Senju ninjas at ninja school.

After the death of the Second Hokage, the Senju clan had long vowed to restore the glory of the Senju clan.

The entire clan was energized, even the children clamoring to become Hokage.

For example, in the original story, Senju Nawaki declared his desire to become Hokage while still at ninja school.

If Yoru returned to the village and declared his desire to become Hokage, no one would pay attention. But if Senju Nawaki declared his desire to become Hokage, many would take it seriously. People are different.

"Miss Yuka, what are you trying to capture?"

"Spear Egret, a relatively rare flying ninja beast," Uzumaki Yuka said.

"Every Uzumaki ninja can contract their own summoning beast.

The sealing technique itself isn't very powerful, but by signing contracts with summoning beasts with various special abilities, their strength will be significantly enhanced."

Yoru felt a touch of envy.

Each of the Sannin's sacred summoning beasts was enough to crush a Chunin or even a Jonin.

Not only would the cloud and Mist ninja be jealous, even the Konoha ninja would be jealous.

Yoru turned her head slightly, peering sideways and upward through the gaps in the bushes, just in time to see Captain Antelope's mask.

Captain Antelope was hidden in the canopy to the side, his eyes seemingly closed or slightly squinting.

Uzumaki Yuka was the strongest member of the Uzumaki team, and Captain Antelope kept a constant eye on her.

Yoru waited a long time, but Captain Antelope's attention never shifted, so he took no action.

The ground was damp and warm, with insects crawling across it from time to time.

Unaware that Captain Antelope had been keeping an eye on her, Uzumaki Yuka moved carefully under the bushes to avoid insects crawling onto her body.

As she twisted her body, she revealed more of her white chest.

Yoru remained unmoved, raised his mask, hid his eyes, and stared closely at Captain Antelope.

He took two ration pills and waited from morning till evening.

The sun was setting, and it was getting darker under the bushes.

Suddenly, a black dot appeared in the distance, flying towards them at an extremely fast speed.

"Here they come! The Spear Egrets have returned to their nests!"

It was a three-meter-long egret, with a hard, slender beak a meter long at the front, and the rest of its neck and body were equally slender.

With its wings retracted, the Spear Egret dived with incredible speed.

Noticing Captain Antelope's attention drawn to the Spear Egret, Yoru whispered, "Yuka, do you have a poison needle?"

"Poison needle? Yes!"

Uzumaki Yuka pulled a poison needle from his ninja tool bag.

Yoru didn't know how to make poison, so he did n't have any. To defeat the powerful Captain Antelope, he needed poison.

He took out a hemostatic potion, applied it to his kunai, and then placed the poison in his ninja tool bag.

Yuka was extremely confused by Fox's actions.

Dipping a kunai in potion, slashing and stopping bleeding at the same time?

Just then, the detonating talisman trap exploded.

Three large nets were blown into the air, one of which caught the Spear Egret's wing.

Uzumaki Yuka didn't bother to think about Yoru's strange behavior. She quickly jumped out and rushed towards the Spear Egret.

Seeing Uzumaki Yuka leave, Captain Antelope's attention was completely diverted. Yoru quickly took out the poison and injected it into the hemostatic potion in the air.

Everything was ready, waiting for the opportunity to strike Captain Antelope.

According to the captain's instructions, Yoru could not leave Uzumaki Yuka and rushed out as well.

The Spear Egret's wings became entangled in the barbed wire, preventing it from flying and landing on the ground.

Its beak was incredibly sharp, piercing the thigh of the Uzumaki ninja who rushed forward first.

The beak was like a spear.

It was hard to imagine the devastating impact of a swooping ninja attack.

The Spear Egret's neck was long and powerful, constantly retracting and pecking forward, and the Uzumaki ninja dared not approach.

"I'll do it!"

Uzumaki Yuka leaped forward, forming a seal from the Karma Binding Seal.

The seal climbed up the Spear Egret's slender legs, then its wings and neck, finally locking it in place.

The Spear Egret continued to struggle, its body trembling.

Uzumaki Yuka explained to Fox beside her, "Next comes a long period of hawk-watching. This ninja beast is too large. We must first exhaust it, and then use the contract summoning technique."

Yoru turned his head slightly and saw that Captain Antelope had not appeared, still hiding in the treetops.

After a long struggle, Uzumaki Yuka finally overpowered Spear Egret, and the ninja beast's eyes were filled with pleading.

Seeing the opportunity, Uzumaki Yuka produced the scroll hidden on her thigh under her skirt.

It was the Diamond Chain Sealing Scroll!

At this moment, the situation suddenly changed.

Uzumaki Yuka, Yoru, and the three Uzumaki ninjas were focused on the sealing scroll when two long-ambushed cloud ninja teams suddenly rushed out from the side.

The scroll!

The cloud ninja team was going to seize the sealing scroll to study the secrets of the Uzumaki clan's sealing technique.

To deal with the cloud ninja, Uzumaki Yuka was forced to release Spear Egret's self-binding seal.

Spear Egret's thin legs gave way, and she collapsed to the ground.

Uzumaki Yuka was no better. Sweat soaked through her tights and soaked her dress.

Her skirt clung to her waist and hips, as if she'd just been fished out of the water.

The cloud ninja rushed over, and their squad leader instantly slashed down a Uzumaki ninja.

Yoru stepped in front of Yuka, blocking a ninja sword.

Captain Antelope finally leaped down from the treetops and engaged the nearest cloud ninja in a head-on battle.

With Captain Antelope's strength, he could easily have killed the cloud ninja instantly, but the fight was back-and-forth.

Yoru immediately realized Captain Antelope was slacking off. Being an expert at slacking off, he could tell instantly.

If the captain was slacking off, Yoru was even more eager.

He was forced back by a cloud ninja, his flank nearly ripped open, forcing him to duck.

This exposed Uzumaki Yuka.

Uzumaki Yuka raised the scroll.

Originally used to seal ninja beasts, it was now being used against the cloud ninja.

Captain Antelope suddenly shouted, "Grab!"

This command was addressed to Fox; the Anbu also wanted a complete Diamond Chain Scroll.

Yoru turned around and swung the kunai, piercing Uzumaki Yuka's abdomen!
