Kitazawa returned to his office.
After he sat down, he pulled out the schedule for first-year Class A.
As the homeroom teacher, he taught fewer classes than Umino Iruka, but each one was of paramount importance. He taught three subjects: Will of Fire, Konoha History, and Practical Training.
Of these, the practical training courses were the most numerous.
A ninja could be uneducated, but not unskilled.
The practical training focused on teaching the Three Body Technique, the use of conventional ninja tools, and the detection and setting of traps.
Time passed slowly, and soon it was time for the last class, the practical training course.
Similar to the students in his previous life, there were eight classes a day: four in the morning and four in the afternoon, each lasting forty-five minutes.
"This is the practical training course," Kitazawa said, standing at the classroom door. "Everyone, follow me to the playground."
"Teacher Kitazawa, are we going to learn ninjutsu?"
Uzumaki Naruto's eyes lit up, eagerly asking.
Most students didn't ask, but anticipation was evident on their faces.
Only Uchiha Sasuke and Nara Shikamaru, who were both from the ninja clan, remained calm.
Because they all possessed family-inherited ninjutsu.
Before ordinary students had mastered the Three Body Techniques, they had already mastered Fire Release, Gentle Fist, and special secret techniques.
These ninjutsu, even if the teachers at the ninja academy wanted to teach them, wouldn't be available.
Their purpose for attending school was simple: to build connections and increase their knowledge.
Uzumaki Naruto was an exception.
Despite being the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and the son of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, no one taught him.
"You haven't mastered chakra refinement yet, so we won't teach you ninjutsu yet. This class will focus on kunai throwing,"
Kitazawa said, meeting their gazes.
"Ninja tools are also good."
Uzumaki Naruto was a little disappointed, but not much.
For ninjas, both ninjutsu and tools are important and commonly used.
"It's boring," Uchiha Sasuke shook his head.
When it comes to the use of ninjutsu, few in Konoha can match the Uchiha clan.
This is because they possess the Kekkei Genkai Sharingan, which grants powerful abilities such as insight, hypnosis, and cloning. They have accumulated a vast advantage in the use of ninjutsu, even creating numerous ninjutsu.
For example, the Shuriken Technique.
Everyone arrived on the playground.
"Before class, I have one more announcement to make,"
Kitazawa clapped his hands and said, "and that's to elect a class monitor."
"I want to be class monitor!"
Uzumaki Naruto quickly stood at attention and said,
"I want to be too!"
Many people started to speak up.
Even Uchiha Sasuke was tempted.
If he became class monitor, he might get the praise he'd longed for.
"Do you know what a class monitor does?"
Kitazawa asked with a smile.
"Manage the entire class!"
"I think it's similar to the Hokage. I'd call him Class Kage!"
"The Class Kage is mine!"
A chaotic array of responses followed.
"The class monitor's main job is to assist the teacher and help the students, like conveying the teacher's orders and collecting homework,"
Kitazawa said with a twitch of his lips.
He subconsciously glanced at the little boy who had mentioned Class Kage.
What the hell?
"A waste of time," Uchiha Sasuke curled his lips.
He was a distinguished Uchiha. If he were to serve these ordinary students, his father would probably whip him into a spinning top, not even praise him.
"Too much trouble," Nara Shikamaru muttered.
For a moment, most of the students lost interest.
"Those who still want to be class monitors, please raise your hands,"
Kitazawa said with a smile, seeing his goal achieved.
Uzumaki Naruto was the first to raise his hand.
Besides him, there were three others.
"Excellent." Kitazawa nodded and said, "From today on, the four of you will be deputy class monitors."
"Deputy class monitor? Then who is the class monitor?"
Uzumaki Naruto scratched his head, puzzled.
"I'm the class monitor. During this semester, I will observe you ," Kitazawa said calmly. "Next semester, the best among you will inherit my position as class monitor."
[Current Task: Become the class monitor of Class A, Grade 1.]
[Task Reward: Water Attribute.]
[Host completed the mission, rewards distributed.]
Kitazawa watched the text appear before him, a wave of delight rising in his heart.
This idiotic system is so easy to fool.
Water attribute successfully obtained!
"Alright, let's begin class."
Kitazawa produced a summoning storage scroll, placed it on the ground, and opened it.
He formed hand seals with his hands, and with a bang, a large number of wooden stakes and kunai appeared from the smoke.
"Deputy monitors,"
Kitazawa instructed. "Two people will drive the stakes into the playground, and two people will distribute the kunai to the students."
"Yes!"
Uzumaki Naruto responded enthusiastically.
He believed that becoming monitor would better fulfill his dream of gaining everyone's recognition.
"Now, let's begin practical training,"
Kitazawa said after spending fifteen minutes explaining kunai throwing techniques. "Your goal is to hit the fixed stakes."
With a thud, Uchiha Sasuke raised his hand and swung it, unleashing the legendary spear fighting technique. The kunai swerved and landed precisely on the bull's-eye of the stake.
"Wow!"
Haruno Sakura led the way, and many girls exclaimed in surprise.
Kitazawa smelled pretentiousness.
This Uchiha Sasuke mission was indeed difficult.
"I can do it!"
Uzumaki Naruto shouted, displeased with Uchiha Sasuke's arrogance. "I'm going to do it!"
He grasped a kunai and threw it with all his might.
"Ah, I hit it!"
Uzumaki Naruto glanced at it, surprised and excited.
"Naruto, that's my stake," Nara Shikamaru said, shaking his head and resignedly reminding him.
Uzumaki Naruto froze.
"Mistakes are common, don't be discouraged, just practice and you'll be fine."
Kitazawa paused, then smiled. "Those of you who hit the bull's eye, I'll give you a snack pack."
"Snacks?"
Akimichi Choji's eyes widened.
"Great!"
The students cheered.
Although children in the ninja world matured early, they were still children after all, and snacks were very tempting.
"Childish," Uchiha Sasuke snorted.
He was no longer a three-year-old, he was almost six!
Encouraged by the snacks, the class was lively and everyone was full of motivation.
"Thank you, Teacher Kitazawa!"
As soon as the bell rang, Akimichi Choji rushed forward and snatched the first spot, proving with his prowess what a nimble, overweight person could be.
"Hinata, don't go yet! Wait for me," Kitazawa reminded Hyuga Hinata when it was her turn.
"Ah... well," Hinata felt the gazes on her, and her face flushed.
She took the snack, then lowered her head, clutching the hem of her clothes, standing uncomfortably.
"Naruto, this one's for you."
After everyone had left, Kitazawa tossed a snack to Uzumaki Naruto.
"I can't have it," Uzumaki Naruto refused. "I didn't hit the bull's eye."
In the original story, his grades at the ninja school were terrible, the so-called last-place student.
How should I put it?
Uzumaki Naruto is the classic stats freak, needing no skill; his sheer strength is unstoppable.
Of course, there's another factor: the Nine-Tails' disruption.
In reality, Uzumaki Naruto is a one-in-a-million genius.
"It's just a matter of time," Kitazawa said with a smile. "Teacher believes you can do it."
"I..."
Uzumaki Naruto felt a warmth build up inside.
He held the snacks in his hand, not knowing what to say.
"Go back and have a good rest. See you tomorrow."
Kitazawa patted his shoulder and said.
"Okay!"
Uzumaki Naruto turned and walked out of the school.
When he got home, he found a familiar figure.
"Grandpa Sandaime!"
Uzumaki Naruto's face showed surprise.
