Yuki chose to agree to meet the young pickpocket, with Ivan by her side. As a result, they abandoned sightseeing altogether and headed straight to the child's residence.
"Sergei says a car picked the pickpocket up, Boss. Should we force them to stop?"
Yuki had assumed that because Alexei hadn't been gone long, the child couldn't have gotten far. But once they got into the car, Alexei—now in the driver's seat—reported something else entirely. Yuki watched the moving dot on the map Sasha was managing from the passenger seat and realized the pickpocket had accomplices to help her operate.
At that realization, Yuki fell silent. For the first time, she wasn't entirely sure her decision to come with Ivan had been the right one.
"No need."
Despite the change in Yuki's expression, Ivan answered calmly, as if he already knew that it would happen. Ivan kept staring straight ahead as he gave another order to Alexei.
