"Waaa!"
Ever since Ars was born, there were almost no peaceful days left in Ivan's house. Morning or night, the mansion—once always silent—was now constantly filled with the sound of Ars crying for one reason or another. This time was no different. Just before dawn, Yuki had barely managed to soothe him. And at five in the morning, the baby was crying again.
"Sigh…"
The sound of Ars's cries reached Ivan's ears and pulled him awake. He exhaled quietly when he noticed, once again, that Yuki wasn't beside him. Slowly, Ivan got out of bed and walked toward the next room—the nursery where Ars slept.
"Shh… good boy. Don't cry anymore, okay?"
