Chapter 10: This is my apprentice Yuuki Rito
"Inspector Megure, this is my apprentice Yuuki Rito." Kogoro also introduced Yuuki Rito to inspector Megure proudly. Yuuki Rito knows inspector Megure and inspector Megure also knows about Yuuki Rito and his confidential identities.
He did not say anything to reveal those things because they are confidential. He knows because he is in the lead and was able to meet Yuuki Rito before in some case. Also he signed a confidentiality agreement about Yuuki Rito at that time.

Yuuki Rito went to those kids to help them with Ran and Conon. Naturally the manager of Yoko acted like he slipped and fell to catch some evidence and even denied knowing him. Yoko did not speak because she is feeling guilty.
For the time being she can only stay silent because the one that broke up with her is him and she don't know the reason for it was so round about to help her with her career. Well being an idol requires her to pay the corresponding price.
The price is naturally being single without anyone as her lover or husband. Then use this to attract large number fans to boost her career in the future. That is what she is doing right now. So the break up did not make her sad.
While they are going around in circles Yuuki Rito saw the performance of Conon first hand. He was sad that there is no coke and popcorn to go with them. For the time being he doesn't have to perform.
Each has their own way of thinking and Yuuki Rito doesn't have to point things out. Also when Conon found the earring he called the inspector Megure but no one cares about the words of children.
But in this plot Conon did not use the voice changer instead he asked Yuuki Rito for help. Yuuki Rito walked over to bow down under the sofa and took out the earring from under the sofa with a kerchief and said.
"Uncle Kogoro, inspector Megure, I found an ear ring here." he said to Kogoro and inspector Megure. Then he turned towards Yoko and asked. "Miss Yoko, is this your earring?"
"No, it is not mine it should belong to Yuuko. Another actress and my rival…" Yoko said and then the manger came forward to explain the ins and outs of the matter. Naturally Kogoro reacted as usual pointing out Yuuko being the criminal.
"Bring Miss Yuuko here for investigation." Inspector Megure said. The cops went to bring Miss Yuuko over. Yuuki Rito saw her that looked more on the stylish modern woman compared to Yoko that is innocent character model.
Yuuki Rito looked at her for a few moments and did not say anything but started to write things on the paper slowly. Others did not notice him writing. After all he is writing it on the note pad on his hand as if collecting evidence.
Actually he is writing a confession. He doesn't have to corner Yuuko instead he just has to wait for her to fall into the plot trap of Conon. At that time they would be distracted for a moment and Yuuki Rito can get her sign.
For a confession note their sign is all that is needed. There is no need to worry more about anything else. This kind of small things like breaking into the house of another person to find the black materials is not that serious of a crime.
The amount of confession points Yuuki Rito get for this might be very little. But something is better than nothing. He can also get a confession sighed by the manger of Yoko for being indirect reason for the death of the former lover of Yoko.

Yuuko denied about the charges that Kogoro said and even said some sarcastic words towards Yoko at that time Kogoro was angry and Conon noticed that the movements of Yuuko are too natural knowing all the things in the house clearly.
Later when Yuuko lit the lighter that looked like statue of liberty has made Conon found the important point and the problem in this matter. That is Yuuko is too familiar with this place and Conon started his act of directing the things for Kogoro and inspector Megure.
Yuuki Rito on the other hand saw Yuuko that has a mental break down and went over to her side and spoke in a very soft hypnotic voice. "Sign this and you will be out of the trouble. It is not a big deal to come here for checking for scandal. You can simply pay fine and leave the case."
Yuuki Rito's words are like a beacon of light of hope for her and she quickly looked at the things to sign it. Yuuki Rito is wearing a jacket on the same color as the cops and she in dazed state mistook him for being a cop.
She signed the paper and Yuuki Rito slipped away as the farce turned towards Yoko instead of Yuuko. Naturally the attention of Yuuko turned towards the side and did not notice Yuuki Rito that got the confession.
He simply tore the confession paper and sent it into the system. The confession paper vanished and it went for scrutiny for evaluation of confession and it will give him the confession points later after this process.
Right at this moment Conon already got the entire thing figured out and he decided to start his deduction. For that naturally Kogoro should sleep. This sleep cannot come naturally so he kicked an ash tray to hit Kogoro.
Strangely even though Kogoro was hit by the ashtray and made a loud noise no one actually cared about this matter. It is like this thing is invisible in their eyes. Yuuki Rito was the only one that saw it all clearly.
