Chapter 123 - Chapter 123 The corpse is stinking, and you come to ask me for an explanation?

"Damn it… Bug God! He's so jumpy!"

In the secret room, Psykos's heart instantly flared with an unnamed anger, her delicate brows arching into a dangerous curve.

The rich wine in her glass subtly swayed, reflecting her cold, beautiful eyes.

Even the Psychic power emanating from her puppet clone, Great Eyes, deep within the palace, showed unstable fluctuations.

"I've tolerated you for too long. If you don't give me a satisfactory reason today, I'll dissect you right now and see where all those Monster Cells went…!"

The accumulated emotions exploded, and Psykos was so enraged she turned red.

Her fair fingers turned even whiter at the knuckles from the force, wishing she could immediately mobilize her Dragon-level Psychokinesis to directly blast the pretentious fellow in the palace into dust.

However, in the main hall, Bug God seemed oblivious to the palpable killing intent.

His fists were clenched, and the black carapace covering his entire body was bulging with muscles. His voice was filled with an increasingly intense suppressed fury, each word seemingly squeezed out from between his teeth.

"I have two good brothers, one named Sharp Fang and one named Overlord Tiger!"

This sudden, inexplicable statement made the originally furious Psykos stunned, her anger temporarily suppressed by curiosity. The controlled Great Eyes tilted its head with interest.

She wanted to hear what kind of show this increasingly lawless bug was trying to put on.

Han Sen took a deep breath, adjusted his emotions, and continued speaking with a mournful tone: "Although their disaster levels weren't high, and their potential as Monsters was very limited, they were my brothers-in-arms, my beloved family and friends, who walked with me from the humblest beginnings!!"

"So?" Realizing something was off, Psykos subconsciously narrowed her beautiful eyes.

"I need more money… No!"

Han Sen almost blurted out his true thoughts, but thankfully changed his words in time, his voice filled with icy killing intent: "Three months ago, they were brutally murdered by the passing Cutting King! Today… I've come to demand justice for my brothers!"

Psykos: "…"

A deathly silence enveloped the entire palace.

At the same time, in the secret laboratory, the expression of the formidable older sister completely froze.

"Crack—!"

A crisp shattering sound rang out, and the stemmed glass in her hand broke in response.

Hard glass shards mixed with the deep purplish-red, rich wine slowly slid down her fair, jade-like forearm, blooming into a bizarre flower on the floor.

A vein on her delicate forehead twitched violently, uncontrollably.

—Three months ago?

—The bodies have rotted, and you've come to demand justice from me?!

No, I need to calm down.

Through her interactions during this time, she already clearly understood the nature of Bug God, whom she had personally promoted.

This guy's thought process was incredibly bizarre, and his actions were wild and unpredictable. Yet, his power increased at an astonishing speed, and his potential was unfathomable, making him a typical example of someone she both loved and hated.

"Bug God," Psykos said eerily, controlling Great Eyes, "Are you out of Monster Cells again?"

At these words, Bug God in the main hall seemed to suffer an immense insult.

His entire carapace trembled slightly, and his eyes held the furious rage of trampled dignity.

"Madam! What do you mean by that?!" His voice suddenly rose, "You are insulting me and the dignity of my deceased brothers!"

"If Monster Cells are insufficient, I will naturally beg you for a reward! My loyalty to the Association, Bug God's loyalty, is evident to heaven and earth!"

"But this time, I only came for revenge!"

He took a step forward, and the entire palace trembled.

"I request your permission for me to have a fight to the death with Cutting King! I want to use his blood to honor the souls of my brothers in heaven!!"

Psykos: "…"

His words were righteous, murderous, and full of the desperate and tragic resolve for revenge.

They would make the listener sad and bring tears to their eyes.

But Psykos, from head to toe, even down to her perfectly rounded, fair toes beneath her lab coat, didn't believe a single word that came out of this guy's mouth!

"Bug God, violence, and the law of the jungle are our Monster nature. We prey on the weak."

For some reason, her anger dissipated by more than half, replaced by a playful amusement, like a cat toying with a mouse.

She even adjusted Great Eyes's sitting posture with interest, as if enjoying an entertaining stage play.

"You should know this better than anyone," she said slowly, "After all… even the legendary killer, Cutting King, has probably killed less than one-tenth of the lives that have fallen by your hand since his debut, right?"

"That's different!"

Since the dark face mask showed no signs of blushing or a racing heart, Han Sen replied without changing his expression, his words decisive and forceful: "Everyone I killed was a damned enemy!"

"And he killed my brothers! Today, I only want Cutting King… to pay for his blood debt!"

Psykos was utterly speechless.

Just as Bug God was putting on a grand act in the lower palace, successfully capturing all of Psykos's attention.

Deep within the Monster Association, a shadowy figure, almost blending with the darkness, was rapidly traversing the cold, complex alloy passages in a manner that defied physical common sense.

This strange shadow was Han Sen's true body.

The max-level SSR ability, 'Blacklight Armor,' and its derivative function, 'Shadow Sneak,' had already been activated!

At this moment, Han Sen was no longer a material entity; his body and senses had undergone a wondrous transformation.

The world lost its color and temperature in his eyes, like a self-aware shadow, moving in the crevices between light and shadow.

The shadow sometimes transformed into a flat, ground-hugging silhouette, silently gliding beneath the feet of a team of Demon-level Monsters complaining about their terrible food.

Those Monsters were quite strong, yet they were completely unaware of the shadow that slipped by beneath their feet.

With his clone attracting attention on the surface, Han Sen's true body moved through this heavily guarded underground fortress as if it were an empty land!

His goal was crystal clear—

Directly to the Monster Cell production and storage laboratory!

Based on previously acquired intelligence, combined with the super strong mental perception brought by Imagination Power, Han Sen had little trouble pinpointing the general location of his target.

Soon, a massive alloy gate, as thick as a bank vault, appeared at the end of his perception.

That was the place!

Even through thick rock layers and the alloy gate, he could clearly sense it.

Beyond the gate, a vast and magnificent life aura, like a sea of stars yet tinged with strangeness and chaos, was constantly fluctuating.

It was like hamburgers, hot dogs, and cold cola flaunting themselves in front of a homeless man, teasing the greedy instincts of his every cell.
