(Aegor's POV)
"My Prince...." I heard Selene's voice call out for me
I slowly opened my eyes, "Hm?"
She was standing over my bed, giving me a frown as she had her hands in front of her.
"What is it?" I asked as I slowly sat up
She stepped back as I did so, "May I ask where you were last night?" She asked me, "I couldn't find you when I woke in the dead of the night."
"Oh." I said as I rubbed my eye, "I was at the Dragonpit, checking on my dragon."
"I....see...." She said softly
That wasn't a lie; I did go to the dragonpit after my men and I finished our business at the brothel. I had fucked Mysaria so much that I left her shaking and trembling in pure pleasure on the couch. She was covered in so much sweat that I couldn't get a good grip on her body.
I told her that I would see her later this week, to make sure she was ready for that. After that, I went to check on my dragon, seeing that he was asleep. The keepers were telling me that he was getting quite aggressive as of late so I had to check on him.
"Yea." I said, "I have to make sure he's not causing trouble for the Keepers."
"I understand." She said as I stood up, "I was simply worried."
"About what?" I asked as I stretched, "What bothers you, my dear?"
She looked down, "I.....worry...about us." She said softly, "You have not touched me in a few days."
"Oh." I said as I blinked, "I wanted to give you a break, that is all. Do you wish for me to bed you? We can do it now."
She shook her head, "It's not just that." She said, "I worry that you would.....no...it is nothing."
"What?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around her waist, "What is it?"
"I don't want you to leave me to the side." She said with a shaky voice, "Prince Aegor....."
"What are you saying?" I asked her, lifting her chin up as I gave her a smile, "What do you mean?"
"I am aware of your desire to marry Lady Laena Velaryon." She said softly, "She is your kin. She is of Valyrian stock. I am merely a Redwyne....I...."
"You are my Wife." I said as I lifted her hand and kissed it, "That is all that matters, no?"
"My Prince...." She said, "My body and soul belong to you. My heart is yours. But I wish to know that yours is also mine.....because i know that if it is not, you would seek others."
"Selene." I said, "We have been through this. I-"
"I don't want you to father bastards before I give you a child." she cut me off, giving me a somewhat nervous frown, "Prince Aegor....."
"What are you saying?" I chuckled, trying to dismiss it, "What makes you think I would father bastards?"
She pulled away, "It is the only duty I have." She said softly, tears in her eyes, "To give you children. While it is my honor and pleasure to do so, if I cannot do that.....then what worth am I? What kind of disgrace would I be as a woman if I cannot do what is expected of me? I know, Prince Aegor...I am aware of the stares you give other women who you, a Targaryen Prince, expected to be your women."
"Selene, why speak this way?" I asked, "There is no way I would disrespect you that way. If, per chance, I am sneaking about behind your back and bedding other women.....why would I ever think of putting a child in them instead of you? You are my wife, Selene Redwyne."
She wiped her tears away, "I...." She said, "I am your wife. That is true. I will be loyal to you....to my dying breath. I give you my word. But please....I beg of you.....do not break my heart....."
I reached for her hand, pulling her closer, "I told you." I said seriously, "I will not do anything. I promised I would treat you good, Selene. Have I mistreated you so far? No. You are my beautiful wife. Gentle, kind, and an amazing soul. If I am to have a child, I want that child to be yours."
She began to tremble, "I am sorry..." She hugged me, "I have so many fears....so many, Prince Aegor. I don't want you to leave my sight, but I know you are a busy man."
I heard her soft sobs as she dug her face into my chest.
"There there...." I rubbed her back, "Today, I will be by your side. How does that sound?"
"L-Lovely....." She said softly
"Good." I said with a chuckle, "That is good."
"My Prince...." She said, "I have a fear...that I wish to speak...."
"Go ahead." I told her, "What does my wife have on her mind?"
"What if our.....marriage is barren?" She asked as she looked at me, "What...would we do.....?"
I patted her head, "My love..." I said with a smile, "That won't matter to me. If it comes to that, Selene...we will figure it out."
"But....." She said softly, "I....."
"Shh....." I said as I leaned in and kissed her on the lips briefly, "I've spoken, Selene. Do not worry about a thing. Whatever comes our way, we'll deal with it together."
"A-Alright....." she sniffed
"If you are so worried about being a mother....." I said, "Mayhaps we can ensure that you become one, no?"
"W-What do you mean?" She asked
I leaned closer to her ear, "I haven't touched you for days." I whispered as I rubbed her back and gently patted her butt, "How about I change that? Right here, right now...."
"Oh...." She said softly
"Yes." I said with a slight smirk,
"I will climax plenty in you."
