Chapter 26 - In-depth communication with Inu Guren

Kōmei entered Penglai Island, walked into the manor, and summoned Inu Guren.

"Has my young master finally remembered me? I've been waiting all alone for so long," Inu Guren said pitifully.

Kōmei had indeed forgotten her, but could he admit it? He rubbed his chin with his right hand, a flash of inspiration struck, and a high-EQ response came naturally.

"I went to prepare a gift for you! As a master, how could I not give my little pet a satisfactory gift?"

"Thank you, young master, I'm really looking forward to your gift."

Kōmei was stared at intently, and Inu Guren was about to press against him. He could already smell a faint fragrance.

"I'll definitely satisfy you, close your eyes," Kōmei patted Inu Guren's head. "System, give me a canine Yao Race template."

"Alright, please wait, Host. Earth-Splitting Hound – Earth attribute, capable of burrowing and splitting earth, one hundred million points."

"No, too weak, and not for plowing. Give me a stronger one."

"Blazing Three-Headed Hound – Fire attribute, capable of burning lakes and mountains, three hundred million points."

"No, too ugly, I can't bring myself to use it. Change to a better-looking one," Kōmei said with a look of disdain.

"Wind-Thunder Howling Moon Hound – Wind, Thunder, and Yin attributes, capable of flying, and changing size, one billion points."

"That's the one," Kōmei nodded in satisfaction. Both its strength and appearance were good.

"Template generation complete. Please drip a drop of vital blood, Host. After Fusion, it will automatically recognize the Host as its master."

Kōmei bit his finger, squeezed out a drop of vital blood, and infused it into the template. "Inu Guren, concentrate, and get ready to receive your gift."

Kōmei placed the template on Inu Guren's forehead. The template slowly integrated into her body. He felt Inu Guren's temperament rise a notch, and her Aura and strength slowly climbed.

Kōmei stared at Inu Guren without blinking, watching her transform into a dog with a pure white body, a small tuft of red fur on her forehead forming a lotus flower, and a pair of wind and thunder wings on her back.

Inu Guren flew a circle in the air, landed beside Kōmei, and transformed back into her human form.

"Thank you, my young master, you've really given me a big surprise."

Kōmei's arm was embraced by Inu Guren, and she rubbed it against her chest.

Feeling the softness from his arm, he said, "As long as you like it. My effort wasn't wasted."

"I love it so much," Inu Guren's eyes, like autumn waves, looked at Kōmei with deep affection. "My young master, do you need me to warm your bed?"

"Alright, little Yao Race, let me show you how amazing I am." Kōmei led Inu Guren by her small hand to the door of the small building. "It's not too late to regret it now; you won't have the chance later."

"Lian'er won't regret it! Master, just come at me!"

Kōmei pulled Inu Guren into the bedroom and drew the curtains.

The moon in the sky blushed, the flowers on the ground blushed, the spring breeze rode swiftly, and a plum blossom bloomed seven times.

The next morning, Kōmei opened his eyes and looked at the sleeping Inu Guren beside him, slapping her bottom.

"Lian'er, wake up, you little sleepyhead."

"Master, let me sleep a little longer, you almost worked me to death," Inu Guren mumbled groggily, turning over to continue sleeping.

It was almost noon when Guo Er came in to Cultivate, and only then did Kōmei get up. Practicing push-ups early in the morning was still very tiring.

"Guo Er, this is Lian'er, my Spirit Beast," Kōmei introduced them to each other, holding both their hands. "Lian'er, this is Guo Er, my most loyal personal guard."

"Hello, Sister Lian'er, Sister Lian'er is so beautiful."

Lian'er held Guo Er's small hand, "Sister Guo Er is also very beautiful."

Kōmei wondered how girls' friendships formed so quickly. After a few simple chats, they were like sisters, holding each other's hands and whispering secrets.

Little Guo Er's face turned crimson from what was said, her big eyes occasionally stealing glances at Kōmei. When he looked over, Guo Er, like a startled fawn, quickly lowered her head, blushing.

Over the next few days, whenever Kōmei had time, he would personally guide Lian'er in her Cultivation. He was too strict; he would only end the guidance when Lian'er's legs were weak.

"Lian'er, all these Ninja Dogs are entrusted to you. You must take good care of them. The future of the Land of Water's Ninja Dogs business depends entirely on you."

Kōmei brought Lian'er to a specially designated area and handed her one hundred pairs of different types of Ninja Dogs.

Lian'er looked at the lively Ninja Dogs in the fence and patted her chest, guaranteeing, "Master, don't worry. With the special food you provide, I'll definitely give you hundreds of puppies in a few months."

"Good, I'm confident entrusting this matter to you."

The Ninja Dogs Kōmei purchased were all famous dog breeds from his previous life, transformed by the System into Ninja Dogs. Their aggressiveness was not strong, but their functionality was very high: tilling land, guiding the blind, guarding homes, herding chickens and sheep, and so on.

With Lian'er around, he didn't need to worry about raising dogs at all.

In one year, the original two hundred dogs, with Lian'er's meticulous care and Kōmei's help in providing dog food that accelerated growth, had reached over a thousand.

Kōmei planned to put half of them into the market to test the waters.

Daimyo City, Land of Water, Lian'er Pet Shop.

In front of the shop, several cages were displayed, containing energetic puppies.

"These puppies are so cute! I really want to own one."

"Look at that black and white one called a Husky. Its eyes are fierce, and its barks are loud. It must be a good hand at hunting."

"I'm more optimistic about the Alaskan next to it. They look similar, but the one next to it is big enough, so its courage must be as big as its size. It must be very good at guarding homes."

The shopkeeper stood at the pet shop entrance. "Hello everyone, welcome to our pet shop. We sell various types of dogs, and they will definitely be your most loyal companions."

"What are the prices for each type of dog? Are they expensive?" The Common People who liked the Ninja Dogs asked impatiently.

"The pets in this shop are provided by the Daimyo Manor. These dogs are the first batch, and prices range from one hundred to one thousand taels. The most expensive is this pastoral dog, which can both hunt and guard homes."

"Mitsuki -dono is also offering a discount today: ten percent off for one, twenty percent off for two, while supplies last, first come, first served."

"I want a white one."

"The two of us will buy two Huskies. We can take them hunting tomorrow."

"Give me a pastoral dog. I like its color."

Kōmei, holding the transformed and miniaturized Lian'er in his arms, sat in a private room on the third floor of the Haidilao restaurant opposite, watching the Common People below scrambling to buy dogs.

"Lian'er, I didn't expect business to be so good. It seems many people like cute pets. The first batch was still too small."

"Master, don't worry. A batch of puppies will be born in a few days, and there will be more and more in the future. Business will get better and better."

Lian'er's eyes curved into crescent moons, enjoying Kōmei's caresses.

Kōmei's three businesses were flourishing, earning more and more money, and the valuable items in the System store were no longer out of reach.

He planned to buy a Sharingan. A legendary figure without a unique pair of eyes, as a man with a System, it felt a bit undignified.
