Chapter 136 - Chapter 134 A good magician is one who does not hold a wand

While Ares secretly opened a back door for teleportation, bringing Perseus's alt account to Hecate's Garden, he also communicated with Hecate via "magic private message." The two coordinated their stories, and then Hecate began to use some mysterious spatial magic techniques to directly pull the young Medea from Colchis to the Netherworld.

Taking advantage of this, Ares hid his true body, leaving only Perseus's clone here to await Hecate and Medea.

A moment later, within the barrier of Hecate's Garden in the Netherworld, a spatial teleportation gate opened out of thin air, and then Hecate, now in the form of a young woman, slowly arrived here, leading a lovely little girl.

The lovely little girl was wearing a beautiful white long dress with a faint purple trim, and like Hecate, she also had long, beautiful purple hair, though slightly lighter than Hecate's. Her long hair was tied into a single ponytail with a beautiful hair tie, falling behind her.

Perhaps due to her divine bloodline, the little girl's ears were somewhat pointed, and her fair face also had a pair of beautiful purple eyes.

While Ares observed Medea through Perseus's eyes, Medea was also looking at him with curious eyes. Hecate led Medea to Ares and introduced him to her:

"Medea, let me introduce you. This is also my disciple. His name is Are… no, Per, Per…"

"Perseus," Ares interjected.

"Yes, his name is Perseus." Hecate's face flushed slightly, she coughed, exchanged a glance with Ares, and then, with a seasoned demeanor, instructed Medea: "He started earlier than you and knows more Magic. If you have any questions you don't understand later, you can ask me, but if you can't find me, you can also ask him."

"I understand, Teacher," Medea nodded, replying clearly.

"Oh, and if you have any difficulties in life, you can also go to Perseus," Hecate thought for a moment, then said, "After all, you two are human, while I am a deity. I can't understand some of the physiological needs you have."

"Mhm."

Medea nodded rapidly.

"Good." Hecate patted the little girl's head, then pushed her towards Ares: "Today, let your Senior Brother take you through the introductory Magic lessons, Perseus."

"Hey, Teacher," Ares caught the little girl Medea, who Hecate had pushed towards him, and then asked using voice transmission, "Are you really going to make me teach her?"

"Why not?" Hecate retorted, "Your Magic level is pretty much advanced, isn't it? And besides, Medea won't understand the Magic we're researching anyway. Why don't you teach her whatever you think is best, and whatever she wants to learn, you teach her that."

"You just want to push your disciple onto me so you can do your own thing, right?" Ares complained.

"Well, if you want me to teach, then I won't help you with that mechanical god. How does that sound?" Hecate rolled her eyes.

Ares was speechless.

He thought for a moment, then gritted his teeth and said, "Fine, I'll just teach her whatever. If this girl turns into someone with a very strange personality later, don't blame me."

Their exchange was completed in a flash of lightning. So, when Perseus heard Hecate's call, from Medea's perspective, he merely paused for a moment, then nodded and agreed:

"Alright, I understand, Teacher."

Hecate waved her hand, happily handing Medea over to Ares, then rested for a while, and went back to her research in the Netherworld Magic Workshop. Ares, holding Medea's hand, said to her:

"Come with me, Medea."

Taking this little princess, Ares walked with her into Hecate's Tree Palace, and then, with practiced ease, led her to the Magic texts he had studied when he first started.

Looking at these Magic texts, Ares let go of Medea's hand, then turned to her, raising a finger somewhat seriously, and asked:

"Medea, before you learn Magic, can you tell me what kind of Magic you want to learn?"

"What kind?" Medea looked up, a little confused, and asked, "Does Magic have different types?"

"Of course it does. Although, theoretically, both Magicians and Magicians can learn any kind, a person's energy is limited, especially since we humans are not like Teacher Hecate, who is a deity, ageless and immortal, with endless lifespan to continue researching."

Ares explained:

"Therefore, after the rise of humanity, Magicians gradually categorized Magic and Magic into various types, or, we could call them Magic specializations."

"Oh, I see. So, what's your specialization, Senior Brother?" Medea asked curiously.

"Senior Brother specializes in Pure Yang," Ares puffed out his chest, saying somewhat proudly, "As long as I remain a virgin until I'm thirty, Senior Brother can become an omnipotent Grand Magician!"

"Oh, oh, oh, how amazing!" Medea clapped her hands and said, "Then Senior Brother, I want to learn Pure Yang specialization too!"

"Ahem, that's not possible. Girls can't learn that," Ares shook his head and said, "This specialization is male-exclusive."

"Ah, alright then," Medea was a little disappointed, but being a child, she didn't dwell on it much. Soon her attention shifted to another aspect. She asked, "Then Senior Brother, I want to learn Magic that can drive away pain, illness, and wounds."

"Oh, you want to learn healing Magic?" Ares stroked his chin, then took two stone tablets from the bookshelf: "That's not difficult. This kind of Magic and Magic originally derived from the authority of Dr. AsclepiusApollo. After it appeared, our Teacher Hecate also organized its system."

As he placed the stone tablets on the ground, he put his hands on his hips and asked Medea, "Alright, this Magic also has a few branches. Which one do you want to become? Dear, Senior Brother recommends you become a Raging Support."

"Raging Support?" Medea sounded a little scared: "That sounds so scary. Are there others?"

"Hmm, Raging Support, which is gentle, is already the most suitable for girls," Ares thought for a moment, then said, "The remaining ones are Arbitrator Paladin, Soothing Monk, and Dirty Priest."

"Uh, Senior Brother, these three specializations all sound so scary," Medea mumbled, "What do they all do?"

"They are hammer-wielders, fist-fighters, and those who spec in mental control as a secondary," Ares thought for a moment and replied, "By the way, the previous Raging Support uses a sword."

"Shouldn't Magicians and Magicians wear robes and carry wands?" Medea asked blankly.

"How could that be? As a Magic Master, one naturally needs to develop comprehensively in virtue, intelligence, physique, aesthetics, and labor," Ares rubbed Medea's head, patiently coaxing, "Senior Brother tells you, in the Magic world, those who can only use Magic are noobs. The Magicians who don't carry wands are the truly powerful ones. For a true Magic Master, a wand is just a tool to enchant their main weapon."
