Chapter 57 - Despair.

After An Ran finished speaking, she looked at him quietly, and the two of them didn't speak for a long time. The silent stillness filled the air, the quieter it was, the more oppressive it felt, and An Ran's sense of foreboding grew stronger. "Fu Lengyu, do you really want to completely destroy the An Group before you're happy?"

An Ran forced herself to look at him, suppressing the sadness and fear in her eyes. Fu Lengyu's handsome and wicked face was full of cold indifference. An Ran looked at him, and her heart gradually sank to the bottom of the valley. The invisible pressure was the most torturous, and just thinking about the An Group being completely destroyed in the future made An Ran feel like crying.

Fu Lengyu's silence had already indicated his thoughts on the An Group. In the end, she couldn't bear the pressure any longer: "Fu Lengyu, why do you have to give me hope and then push me into despair?"

Her eyes turned red, and now tears were streaming down her face. "Why are you so cruel?" Fu Lengyu looked at An Ran crying, his heart softened for a moment, and after a while, he spoke coldly, "When did I say I wanted to destroy the An Group?"

An Ran's expression froze for a moment, and then she couldn't believe her joy! She grabbed Fu Lengyu's arm and asked in surprise, "You really won't give up the An Group's original brand?"

Fu Lengyu met her clear eyes, and his heart beat strongly for a moment. He casually looked away, pushed An Ran's hand away, and said in a cold and businesslike manner, "The An Group's original brand still has commercial value. I won't risk destroying the An Group andmyself." An Ran, who had broken into a smile, was now full of joy, and she didn't notice Fu Lengyu's slight emotional change.

"Okay... I will learn and master the company's operations as soon as possible. Thank you, Fu Lengyu!" An Ran saved her company. She thought that this was the only wish her father had left in the world, and she must protect the family business no matter how difficult it was.

Fu Lengyu lowered his eyes, and the thick and curly eyelashes cast a shadow on his eyes, covering up his complex thoughts. He gave An Ran the An Group not only because of a moment of softness, but also because he wanted to watch a good show.

Fu Lengyu wanted to see if An Ran, after knowing that the An Group she was desperately trying to save was actually a mess that couldn't be saved, would despair or give up.

After talking about the An Group, An Ran remembered to talk about the entertainment company. She asked about Tang Yu unexpectedly, but to her surprise, Fu Lengyu seemed uninterested in Tang Yu's affairs, even speaking in a cold tone.

"Regarding work, just do what needs to be done. Don't consider those so-called personal backgrounds."

An Ran was stunned and could hardly believe what she heard. Didn't Fu Lengyu know about Tang Yu's background? If he really could do that, what if Tang Yu went behind his back?

If Tang Yu didn't rely on her background, how could she be so arrogant in the company? Fu Lengyu looked at An Ran's dumbfounded expression and sneered coldly, "What I mean is, if you have the ability, you don't need to consider her background... of course, you can choose not to consider it! Your affairs, you solve them yourselves!"

This was like a bucket of cold water poured on An Ran's head, making her shiver. Fu Lengyu was basically saying that he wouldn't support anyone, and they had to rely on their own abilities. But without Fu Lengyu's support, Tang Yu still had the Tang family behind her.

The two are simply not on the same level!

An Ran felt bitter in her heart. It seemed that she had to rely on herself. However, the situation now was much better than she had originally expected. At least Fu Lengyu did not directly stand on Tang Yu's side, right?

Perhaps Tang Yu did not expect that Fu Lengyu would choose to remain neutral. She was not polite to An Ran at all in the new company.

Clearly, in terms of work, she needed to cooperate with An Ran's work schedule, but she always had various reasons not to follow the arrangement and deliberately opposed her.On this day, An Ran arranged for two top models to participate in a car show, and as a whole fashion stylist, Tang Yu naturally had to go with them.

The two of them ended up arguing in the backstage dressing room because of different styling positions.

An Ran suppressed her anger and tried to explain to her in a reasonable way, "This car show is positioned as top-level luxury. You don't need to make it too fashionable or trendy! These strange styles you created are only good for being weird!"

The organizers of this car show only wanted elegant and beautiful vases, not those self-proclaimed fashionable trendsetters.

On the contrary, if it was too out of line, they might end up on the organizer's blacklist and never receive similar good resources again.

For safety's sake, it is better not to mess with those messy things.

However, Tang Yu, who had returned from studying abroad and had been baptized by Western cutting-edge fashion, did not think so!

In her opinion, it was An Ran who did not want her to stand out, so she suppressed her performance everywhere!

Tang Yu lifted her curly hair falling on her ears and sneered at An Ran, "Don't force your old-fashioned and conservativeideas on me! I am the professional in overall fashion styling!"

An Ran had no control over Tang Yu at all, and could only watch as Tang Yu dressed the two models like they were participating in a fashion show, with the overall styling and clothing matching being...

In the eyes of ordinary people, it was simply unbearable to look at, and it did not match the style of the entire car show!

An Ran couldn't change Tang Yu's mind, so she could only hope for the two models: "You can choose to reject this style, and I'll redesign the overall look for you!"

The two models hesitated for a moment as they looked at themselves in the mirror. They looked stunning and eye-catching in the style, even though it was a bit flashy.

So the two models shook their heads in unison and refused, "Director An, it's okay. This style is good enough."

More importantly, everyone in the company knew that Tang Yu had a powerful background and couldn't be offended. Compared to An Ran, who was a boss in name only, these two models were more afraid of Tang Yu, a woman with status and background.

Rejected by the models, An Ran could only watch them go on stage helplessly.

She was alone in the backstage makeup room, silent and unable to work. Her subordinates had their own thoughts, and there was Tang Yu, who was always causing trouble for her. It seemed that the heavens were really not giving her an easy time.
