The music festival that Doflamingo had orchestrated over many painstaking years had transformed into a giant's slaughterhouse. The weaker souls who should have fled had long since vanished, leaving only a handful of survivors scattered among the ruins.
Bellamy, that lap dog of the Celestial Dragons, relied on the spring-like properties of his Bane Bane no Mi (Spring-Spring Fruit) to maintain incredible speed beneath the giant's crushing blows. Yet even he didn't dare abandon the scene entirely, instead crouching within the rubble to observe the towering figure's every movement.
High above on a conjured cloud, Nami and Sanji gazed down at the tense conversation unfolding between Eren and Law. Only 5 years had passed since they'd last seen their old acquaintance, but both Straw Hat Pirates felt as though everything had fundamentally changed.
"Wasn't Eren's illness supposed to be cured on Drum Island?" Nami murmured, her orange hair catching the light as she frowned. "I never expected him to become so... extreme."
Sanji's visible eye remained fixed on the scene below, his expression unusually serious. "Considering what happened to Flevance, if I were the victim, I'd probably walk the same path as Eren."
The navigator felt a chill of disgust at the indiscriminate slaughter, her feminine intuition recoiling from such brutality. But the cook, his past shaped by the cold cruelty of his original family, understood the darkness that could consume a person's heart. He'd never felt warmth in that sterile royal household—if not for his sister's intervention, who knew what fate would have befallen the "failure" of the Vinsmoke bloodline. Ninety-nine percent of the kings in this world were nothing more than glorified tyrants anyway.
Eren's enhanced senses detected the presence above. When he lifted his gaze, spotting Nami and Sanji perched on their cloud, no surprise registered in his expression. He'd encountered Luffy before; seeing these two here was merely expected.
Law stood frozen in internal turmoil, his identity and convictions warring within his chest. The Straw Hat Pirates had extended their hand, offering him escape, but this particular Shichibukai's pride burned too hot to accept such charity so easily.
The standoff stretched on for more than ten minutes. Eren remained patient, biding his time while wondering what the others were waiting for. Soon enough, he would deliver a surprise that would shake them all to their cores.
Nami found herself at a loss dealing with the stubborn Trafalgar Law. Perhaps only Luffy could appear and use his mystifying charisma to sway the surgeon. But as she pondered their next move, her sharp intellect caught onto something troubling.
The abilities Eren had demonstrated today bore an unsettling resemblance to the ancient weapons described in the Poneglyphs. When she considered the conditions for Terra to choose a host—an orphan of the Flevance incident—combined with the suspicious refreshments served at the music festival, the pieces of a horrifying puzzle began to align.
The navigator studied the Attack Titan's face with growing unease, cold sweat beading on her forehead. Summoning her courage, she called out, "Eren, I only have one question for you. Besides your revenge against Flevance's royal family, will you spare the other innocent people of Dressrosa?"
Her peculiar question drew bewildered stares from both Law and Sanji. What was Nami implying? Did Eren intend to escalate this conflict until more innocents were caught in his web of destruction?
The black-haired, green-eyed Attack Titan crouched down, his massive form casting a shadow over the debris-strewn ground. Eren hadn't expected her to be the first to pierce through to his true intentions. "Miss Nami, you're far more perceptive than Law here. You're absolutely right—I won't be stopping. But I'm afraid there's nothing you can do to prevent what comes next."
Nami's face drained of color as she frantically pulled both men back, leaving Sanji and Law completely bewildered by her sudden panic.
"Nami-chan, what did you figure out? Tell me right now!" Sanji demanded, his usual flirtatious tone replaced by urgent concern.
"What's this bastard plotting?" Law growled, his grip tightening on Kikoku.
Since Eren had already confirmed her suspicions, Nami decided to reveal the terrible truth. "Sanji, have you forgotten about Terra? Eren is one of the ancient weapons—Terra recorded in the Poneglyphs as the one who would bring about the world's destruction."
Trafalgar Law's eyes widened. He knew of the three legendary ancient weapons, but where had this Terra come from? When Sanji learned that Eren possessed the power of an ancient weapon, his entire demeanor shifted to high alert, every muscle tensing as he watched the Attack Titan with newfound wariness.
Eren made no attempt to deny Nami's deduction. Instead, he turned his attention to Trafalgar Law, his voice carrying an unexpected note of regret. "Lami consumed my blood when Diamante fed it to her. I understand your feelings of love for your sister, Law. For that reason... I'm sorry."
Law's heart lurched at the sudden apology, an ominous premonition crawling up his spine. "Eren, what do you—?!"
The Attack Titan's massive jaws opened wide, drawing in tremendous volumes of air. Before anyone could react, he tilted his head skyward and unleashed a deafening roar that shook the very foundations of Dressrosa. Golden electricity crackled across his towering form as the sound erupted from his throat.
"AAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
The titan's roar spread outward from their position like ripples on water, followed by answering lights blooming in the distance—golden beacons igniting across the island from near to far.
The devastating sound waves at close range forced all three observers to clap their hands over their ears, helpless to do anything but witness the hellish spectacle unfolding before them. Through the Sky Screen broadcasting to the world, the true, terrible power of Terra was finally revealed.
Aboard the Thousand Sunny, two crew members had remained on standby: Franky and Marlin—one a master shipwright, the other a Sea God inheritor Fisman. They could provide the greatest advantage by maintaining their position. Currently, they weren't anchored near Dressrosa's port; the ship had sailed a considerable distance offshore to avoid the flames that Donquixote family officers had tried to set to their ship.
"Whose roar is that loud that we can hear it all the way out here?" Franky wondered, adjusting his sunglasses as he peered toward the island.
"Franky, look at this!" Marlin called out, his voice tight with concern. "The entire island of Dressrosa is flashing with light, and it's spreading even to the harbor. What kind of weapon could do this?"
Marlin's observation made Franky shift his gaze to Lami. Beneath the girl's silver skin, golden light was emanating from within, growing brighter by the second. The cyborg immediately realized something catastrophic was happening and shouted, "Come help me, quick!"
The boosters under Franky's feet fired at maximum power, rocketing him toward Lami's glowing form in the blink of an eye. He wrapped his mechanical arms around her radiant body and launched skyward, desperate to prevent her from destroying their ship.
Bepo, still wrapped in bandages from his earlier injuries, watched in horror as Lami transformed from a brilliant golden beacon into a silver-skinned giant within Franky's embrace.
Lami's originally petite frame expanded ten times over, completely becoming a mindless titan. She began hammering at Franky's mechanical body with savage fury, her fists crashing against his reinforced chassis. Fortunately, her destructive power remained limited despite her incredible strength, and his backup systems could withstand the punishment—for now.
"Why is this happening?" Bepo cried out in confusion.
Without hesitation, Marlin plunged into the ocean depths.
"Gyojin Karate: Rokuryū Ōgi!" (Fishman Karate: Secret Art of the Six Dragons!)
At his command, a colossal sea king—stretching a thousand meters—erupted from the abyss, torrents of seawater spewing from its gaping maw. The very ocean heeded Marlin's mastery of Fishman Karate, waves heaving and twisting into a violent frenzy.
With a sweep of his arms, he bent the sea to his will. The waters coiled and surged, shaping into towering bars of liquid that closed in around the ten-meter titan Lami had become, finally tearing Franky free from her relentless grip.
Yet even confined, Lami was unyielding. She hammered again and again against her watery cage, fury rippling through each strike. Luckily, no humans remained aboard the vessel—and the titans had no appetite for non-human prey.
But the question remained: why had humans begun transforming into giant?
As realization struck him like a lightning bolt, Franky understood the true scope of the catastrophe. What kind of hell would those tens of thousands of golden lights across Dressrosa represent when they finished their transformation?
