As the saying goes: "When enemies meet, their eyes turn even redder."
As soon as it saw Ethan Black, the Ursaring let out a furious roar, and a faint red light began to glow in its eyes.
"Ingrain!"
Ethan Black frowned slightly, but still ordered Cacnea to use the move Ingrain.
Immediately, numerous roots shot out from multiple angles toward Ursaring on the field.
"Roar!"
Faced with the sudden attack, Ursaring growled, and without waiting for an order from its trainer, it quickly charged forward with its fist raised. In an instant, electricity enveloped it, and it struck against the roots ahead.

Amid sparks and wooden splinters flying everywhere, Ursaring brutally smashed through the roots in front of it. Its destructive power was fully displayed in that instant.

"In just three months, it already reached advanced level!"
Seeing Ursaring's terrifying destructive power, Ethan Black's pupils shrank sharply. Even his Sandslash wouldn't be a match for that Ursaring!

While Ethan Black was lost in thought, more roots began growing behind Ursaring, quickly wrapping around it.

But before they could reach him, Ursaring extended its other free hand, grabbed one of the roots, and unleashed a wave of chilling cold that covered it in frost, freezing it in midair.
As the roots shook, all those frozen began shattering one after another, falling to the ground like shining crystals.
"Thunder Punch, Ice Punch... and now Fire Punch too!"
While Ethan Black muttered, flames began to condense in Ursaring's hand, and with a blow to the ground, an emerging root was immediately reduced to ashes.
"Whoa, the combo of the three elemental punches is complete!"
"This Ursaring definitely isn't ordinary. And for Ryan to have raised it to this level since it was captured... his ability as a Pokémon Hunter is impressive!"
Ethan Black's face changed slightly. Remembering Rachel Blake's power and now Ryan Grant's, it was clear that Pokémon Hunters were not to be underestimated.
Meanwhile, the battle continued. Cacnea controlled hundreds of roots that rushed at Ursaring, while it alternated between Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, and Ice Punch, making wooden splinters fly everywhere.
With its powerful close-combat skills, Ursaring managed to withstand the siege of Cacnea's root field, preventing them from closing in.
"Those damn Pokémon Island Adventure Club people, they're so despicable!"
"That Ursaring has clearly already surpassed intermediate level, and yet they still sent it to the field!"
Hailey Blake, watching Ursaring unleash that overwhelming power, couldn't help but stomp furiously.
"That's right, you're absolutely right!"
"That Ursaring is officially listed as Brent Holloway's Pokémon, but we all know it was raised by Ryan Grant from the very beginning."
"How shameless! The Pokémon Island Adventure Club is exploiting a loophole to win this battle, this is disgraceful!"
The other members of the Pokémon Nightstar Club were also furious. Though it was officially Brent Holloway's, everyone knew that the one truly battling Ethan Black was Ryan Grant.
Using the power of a Pokémon Hunter to crush an intermediate-level trainer... that was contemptible!
"Cacnea, this is the final battle, give it everything you've got!"
Seeing the situation, Ethan Black decided to hold nothing back and shouted with all his might.
Hearing the order, Cacnea nodded. Immediately, a faint green glow began to shine over its body, transmitting through the roots into the ground.
In an instant, the earth beneath its feet began to dry rapidly, turning into arid sandy terrain.
And not only that: as if a wildfire were spreading across the ground, desertification began expanding from Cacnea's feet to cover the entire field.
Thanks to the full deployment of Ingrain, the entire battlefield began transforming into a desert, hiding an underground network of roots ready to erupt.
Then, those hidden roots surged out from every direction, like an avalanche trying to bury Ursaring with its most powerful offensive yet.
Boom!
In the blink of an eye, the roots completely enveloped Ursaring, as if crushing it under a landslide.
"What is this?"
"The entire field is covered with roots! Is such infinite growth even possible?"
Watching Cacnea unleash all its roots, the audience was utterly stunned.
With the sacrificial energy of nine Pokémon plus the entire terrain of the field, an offensive of roots erupted so dense it sealed off any possible escape for Ursaring.
"Could it be that... even such a strong Ursaring has fallen under Cacnea's root field?"
Looking at Ursaring completely wrapped in roots, the audience was once again dumbfounded.
But just then, a furious roar erupted from within the roots. The roots suddenly tightened, and at once, a giant flame-wrapped hand tore through, creating a breach in the entanglement.
That breach grew wider and wider, and the flames spread, setting the roots ablaze completely.
"Roar!"
Another roar echoed. Ursaring's crimson-red eyes shone within the roots before it ripped apart the remnants binding it and slowly emerged from the prison of vegetation.
