Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: System Shop

Chapter 17: System Shop

What the hell? First, I have to complete quests. Second, I am slowly losing the memory that was good for me. Third, the quest timing has now changed, and there were more quests waiting for me to complete.

When Ank was thinking about the quest, how to complete it, and what his life had become, how would he survive like this?

He forgot to check the reward and laid on the bed.

Slowly closing his eyes to sleep—before he could sleep, the system pop-up alerted him while showing him to claim the reward.

He quickly opened the system to see what was rewarded for completing quests:

Sub-Quest 1: Make Arthur your master

Status: Complete

Reward: System Shop unlocks [All your items appear in the shop, but you must pay for them]

Sub-Quest 3: Save Maya Silvertone

Status: Complete

Reward: Teleportation Card ×3 [Teleport to any visited location without mana and energy. One-time use.]

On this planet, everyone uses mana for magic, but Ank uses a different source of energy for his spells.

Ank was different from other beings that existed in this universe, and that was why he had a different source of energy.

After hearing this, his face became angry because he had to buy his own items from the shop.

But he could not find the system shop option.

When he asked the system,

A new message popped up:

You cannot access

You cannot access

System Note: You cannot open the System Shop until a certain level. The system shop is available but not open.

His face made an irritated expression.

He said in an irritated voice, "What is a certain level?"

By hearing "a certain level, reach a certain level,"

He got very angry with the system.

He clenched his fist. "Once I am free, I will beat you to death."

By saying this, he slept.

Far, far from this planet,

A chill ran down Destruction's spine.

Destruction said internally, Ank was cursing me.

And started laughing.

Curse me, Ank, curse me—you can only curse me and not do anything.

Ha ha ha

I was right about giving you a system; this was the best decision I had ever made.

Ha ha

While Destruction was laughing, thousands of planets were being destroyed, but he didn't care. He was enjoying himself.

In some unknown location on the Duskwild planet,

A man was standing and wearing a black cloak that covered his entire body and face, laughing: "Ha ha ha."

"Finally, the time has come," he said, looking at the map of the Central Continent.

"We have only three years."

The laughing man told his subordinate to prepare to seize the Central Continent, and it was now going to start. "We have three years to complete this mission."

The man was planning something after three years.

The first step: to take control of the Central Continent.

"We have 18 months for preparation.

And I don't want any mistake; this is our last opportunity, and I cannot waste it.

And remember what mission we have. How many struggles we went through to reach this position.

Tell me what mission we have,"

one subordinate said excitedly. "We have three missions.

First, control the Central Continent by any means.

Second, kill all heroes on this planet.

[Heroes are special beings that came from different planets to protect Duskwild.]

Third, welcome the new age."

For this, we can do anything, and now the real game has begun.

Somewhere in the Central Continent,

A princess was running, and a group of forty-plus men were chasing her.

The group was called Deathhunters, and they were some of the most powerful mercenaries on the Duskwild planet.

She quickly ran to save her life.

She knew some information and held a wooden box that could destroy many kingdoms in the Central Continent.

One man said, "Princess, hand over the box. We will spare you," in a cunning tone.

The princess kept running without replying.

She knew she would be killed if she gave them the wooden box.

After running for many hours, her legs hurt like hell.

But she could not stop.

Her destination was a port that reached the Diamond Heart Continent.

But now, she would not be able to reach the port.

When hope was lost,

A group of soldiers, consisting of 2,000 men, came and shouted:

"Princess, run! We will save you."

The soldiers knew if they fought, all would die without killing even one.

Because these forty-plus men were from Deathhunters Mercenary and were at the level of Celestial.

But they could not touch the princess because of her spell that helped her escape.

If the princess had not known this God Run spell, she would not have survived this assault. But due to this spell, no one could touch her while she ran.

[God Run: This spell helps the user to become powerful by increasing everything—except for speed—to a level that can easily kill anyone with a single touch while running. But if the user stops running, the power will be lost.]

But in the soldiers' eyes, their lives were nothing in comparison to their princess.

They could die happily to save her.

They already knew they would die, but to save their precious princess, they accepted the outcome and happily moved towards their death.

When the soldiers and Deathhunters mercenaries clashed, within two minutes, all the soldiers were dead mercilessly.

But the princess was saved, and she reached the port.

Before entering the ship cabin, she looked at the port.

And prayed to the gods for the dead soldiers.

On this day, the decision she made changed her life forever.

And in the future, she met someone who changed her fate.

Someone who would take revenge for everything she had lost.

Someone that destiny had chosen for her.

When she and her destiny meet, then the countdown for the fall of the Central Continent begins.
