Chapter 61 - Chapter 61: Six Fingers

Chapter 61: Six Fingers

SHO Planet

The planet SHO was not like any other planet in the universe. He was the first artificially made planet. It was not the largest, nor was it the most beautiful, but it carried weight in the Universe for one reason: it was the headquarters of the greatest and most powerful organization ever created. To the common people scattered across countless star systems, SHO was hope, justice, and salvation. To criminals and invaders, it was fear physical form.

But within SHO's shining towers and glorious halls, not everything was as righteous as the Universe believed.

Beneath the surface, in one of the most secret chambers, a meeting was underway.

The room was dark and only some light came into the room from outside ,only a silence can be heard . Six chairs circled around it, and in those chairs sat six figures cloaked in shadow. The light never touched their faces, only the outlines of their bodies.

To any outsider, they would appear as ordinary officials or masked heroes. But these six were far from ordinary. They were known as Six Fingers, the hidden organization that influenced the Universe's most powerful organization from the inside. Each of them was a hero ranked among the strongest in SHO's history, yet they walked a darker path, running illegal trades, manipulating missions, and bending events to feed their own ambitions.

They never used their real names in these meetings. Instead, they had code names.

The silence lingered until one of them finally spoke.

"What do we do now?" The man's voice was sharp and restless. His code name was First.

Another leaned back in his chair and replied in a calm tone. "We can't do anything for now." That was Second.

From the other side, a deeper voice entered the conversation. "The director was going to send a massive number of heroes to save the planet Duskwild." His code name was Fifth.

At that, the fourth figure scoffed, his voice dripping with disdain. "Such a waste of resources." He was Third.

"Exactly," another agreed instantly, his tone cutting like a knife. This one was Sixth.

The sixth figure, whose voice was rougher and more bitter, slammed his hand against the table. "What can you expect from the director? Their friend is in danger, so of course, they want to send heroes for the rescue." He was Fourth.

A cold silence followed. Then Fifth pointed at Fourth, his words like an accusation . "All of this was your fault."

Their words carried venom, but none raised their voice too high. They were cautious, even in secret. SHO had eyes and ears everywhere, and though they were powerful, they were not untouchable.

The Six Fingers shifted slightly in their seats, the shadows hiding their expressions but not the weight of their presence. They weren't ordinary conspirators. They were titans of power heroes who had once stood as symbols of salvation. Now, in secrecy, they plotted the downfall of the very director who led SHO.

Duskwild had become the subject of debate across the Universe. The planet was doomed , its ecosystem collapsing, he was also at the edge of the universe so no one can help him . By all predictions, Duskwild would not survive more than ten years. To the Six Fingers, it was a planet not worth saving.

Yet, the director of SHO insisted on sending more than a thousand heroes to its aid.

"The director insisted on sending so many heroes because of that person," said Third, his voice laced with frustration.

"Yes," First replied with certainty.

Sixth tilted his head. "And what was his name again? I forgot."

Second leaned forward, a sheet of paper in his hand, the surface faintly glowing with the details it contained. "Arthur," he said. "He is the best friend of the director, and also one of the most powerful heroes of his time. Though now he's retired."

Second's tone was bitter, but it carried a grudging respect.

Fourth let out a derisive laugh. "The director is wasting everyone's time. So what if Arthur is in danger? He's old, broken, and useless now. What's the point of risking thousands of lives for him?"

Sixth tapped the table with his fingers. "So can we begin the secret mission?"

Third shook his head. "No. We wait. A little longer."

There was silence again, heavier this time. Their secret mission was no small plan. They intended to overthrow the director, shatter his influence, and seize control of SHO for themselves. With the Univere's most powerful organization under their command, they could rule in shadows without challenge.

But the director was not a man to be taken lightly. He had allies loyalists whose strength rivaled even the Six Fingers. For now, they had to wait. They had to let time and circumstance weaken their enemy.

They were assembled here to discuss three things ,first Director wasting resource, second their secret plan and third the most important they had received a mission that can help them in increasing influence

And then they stood from their chair and called someone ,we want you to help him find this person.

He sent a photo ,the photo was not original,in the photo has someone's image that will lead to the downfall of six fingers.

They will curse themselves for accepting this mission.

Far away from SHO's headquarters, on another planet where one of SHO bases events were already in motion.

The hero Blazing Sun stood at the front of a massive hangar, his figure blazing literally. His golden armor shimmered with solar energy, and his eyes burned with determination. Around him, thousands of heroes stood assembled, their uniforms lined with SHO's crest. They looked up to him with respect, admiration, and even awe.

Blazing Sun was not just any hero. He was one of SHO's brightest stars, a leader among leaders, and above all, the greatest admirer of Arthur. To him, Arthur wasn't just a retired hero he was an idol, a legend, a man whose past battles had inspired generations.

And now, Arthur was in danger.

Blazing Sun clenched his fists, his voice echoing across the hangar as he spoke. "Arthur once saved the many galaxy countless times. He was a protector when no one else could stand. Now it's our turn to protect him! We will not let his story end on Duskwild!"

A thunderous cheer erupted from the gathered heroes.

Over one hundred starships were docked in the base, engines roaring to life, lights flickering as pilots prepared for departure. One by one, the great vessels began to rise, filling the hangar with blinding brilliance and thunderous sound.

Blazing Sun stepped aboard the lead ship, his cape flowing behind him, and with a gesture, gave the order.

"All units, full speed to Duskwild!"

The fleet soared into the sky, breaking through the atmosphere in perfect formation. Over a hundred ships, carrying more than a thousand heroes, streaked across the stars in unison, their engines burning like comets in the void.

At full speed, they would reach Duskwild in two days. Normally, the nearest SHO base was three days away, but Blazing Sun and his fleet were pushing their starships to the limit. Nothing would stop them from reaching Arthur.

Yet none of them knew the truth.

They didn't know what awaited them on Duskwild.

They didn't know that the planet was already swarming with enemies, that forces unlike anything they had faced were gathering.

They didn't know that what they were rushing into wasn't a rescue mission

It was a massacre waiting to unfold.

And in the heart of it all, Blazing Sun's life was about to change forever.
