The room was still humming with laughter when Tiger suddenly spoke up, his tone way too casual for the disaster he was about to unleash.

"Oh, wait," he said, stretching with a lazy grin. "Forgot to mention—my cousin's dropping by. And he's bringing his best friend."

Jay and Adam froze."What?" they said together.

Tiger grinned wider. "Michael Cassano. You know… him."

Jay's eyes went wide. Adam's jaw literally dropped."Wait—Michael? As in Greenwood Academy Michael!?" Jay blurted.Adam blinked, stunned. "And Samuel's coming too, isn't he?"

Tiger smirked, all smug satisfaction. "Yup. Said they'll be here in ten minutes."

"...Oh no," Jay whispered, rubbing her temples.Adam groaned. "Oh, we're so dead."

But Keifer and Yuri — they had no clue who these people were.Which somehow made everything so much worse.

Keifer blinked slowly, looking between them. "Wait—who exactly are we dying over? Because the way you two just panicked doesn't feel friendly."

Yuri crossed his arms, suspicious. "Yeah, who are these guys? And why does your face look like you've seen a ghost you used to hug?"

Jay opened her mouth to answer, but Adam beat her to it, teasing. "Just… old friends. Very close friends."

Keifer's head snapped toward Jay so fast it could've caused an earthquake."Close!?"

Yuri frowned, leaning closer. "Define close, because I swear if this is another guy who—"

"Relax!" Jay interrupted quickly, laughing nervously. "They're just—old childhood friends. That's all."

Adam smirked. "Very important childhood friends," he added under his breath.

Keifer's eyes narrowed dangerously. "I'm sorry, what was that?"Adam just grinned wider. "Nothing, Mr. Watson."

Tiger, of course, was loving every second. "Oh, this is going to be so good."

Keifer crossed his arms tightly, glaring at the door like it had personally offended him. "Great. Can't wait to meet more of Jay's special friends."

Yuri muttered darkly, "If they so much as look at her like you just did, Miller, I'm moving them out of this house myself."

"Possessive much?" Adam teased, laughing.

"Protective," Yuri corrected coldly, though the twitch in his jaw said otherwise.

Keifer leaned toward Jay, his voice low, sharp, and slightly sulky. "I don't like this. Not one bit. You're smiling way too much."

Jay rolled her eyes, amused. "Keif, you're being dramatic again."

"I'm being realistic!" he shot back, pacing. "First Adam walks in with his shiny eyes and stupid grin—"

"Excuse me?" Adam interjected.

"—and now apparently two more 'friends' are coming who make her light up like the sun!" Keifer finished, glaring at the air itself.

Yuri sighed, throwing a cushion at him. "You're literally jealous of people you haven't even met yet!"

Keifer caught the pillow midair. "And I'm proud of it!"

The girls — Rakki, Mica, Ella, and Freya — were whispering again, this time giggling about how "Michael sounds hot" and "Samuel's the mysterious type."Keifer visibly flinched.Yuri's eye twitched.

"Did they just—" Yuri began."They did," Keifer muttered. "Unbelievable."

Percy leaned back, grinning. "Oh boy, this is gonna be fun."Tiger cackled. "Fun? Percy, this is war."

Jay just sighed, rubbing her temples. "Please don't start another war in my house."

Keifer leaned toward her again, his voice low, possessive, but teasing. "Fine. But if either of those guys calls you Jay-Jay, I'm changing my surname to 'Problem.'"

Yuri nodded in solidarity. "Same."

Adam snorted. "You both sound like jealous boyfriends."

Keifer deadpanned, "Because one of us is."

The room fell silent for a beat before Tiger broke into uncontrollable laughter."Ohhh, this is going to be so much better when they walk in."
