A knock can be heard slightly on the door,Edward slowly opened his eyes, then quickly covered his ears with a pillow because he was disturbed.
"Uggghhh" Edward groaned as he tried to get back to sleep.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
The knock goes louder as time went by,Edward, disturbed, quickly woke up from his comfortable bed, Edward approached the door in annoyance,he unlocked it, and opened the wooden door.
"What Is it?!-"
"Morning"
The Guide was on his front door,the guide slowly goes inside without Edward's permission and take a look around..Slowly The man approached the small, dark-coloured sofa and sat down,resting his hands on the armrests.
"Good news,you're already qualifed for the Hunters..The official opening of the hunters will begin tomorrow, Monday, at 6 a.m. "
The Guide said with ease,he unequips his blue cloak and put it on his lap..in the other hand Edward shocked mixes with confusion,He has'nt applying to the Hunters and even he hasnt created a citizenship.
"How did I even qualify? I even havent made a Citizenship to register. " Edward respond in confusion,he sits on his white bed as he responds
"..i took a care of it" The guide responds as he rests his head on the sofa
"..wow,are you one of the higher ups on the kingdom? "
Edward's eyes sparkles with wonder As he leans closer to the guide expecting an good answer from the Guide's mouth
"No."
"Aw,shucks"
Edward's excitement fades away after hearing the answer,The Guide gets up from the Sofa and pats the boy on his shoulder while looking at Edward with a warm look on his eyes.
"Come on,let's get you geared up" The Guide walking towards the door.
"And one more thing." The guide reaches something from his pocket then throws it to Edward which Edward catches it perfectly.
"..Citizenship of the Kingdom Dawnspire? "
"From now on,you're a citizen of dawnspire"
Edward expression becomes more shocked and make it even worse,there's an photo of him even though he hasn't take any photo yet.
"Wait!,how do even have my photo? I haven't-"
"It's called magic kid,it's magic"
The guide respond in a mocking and silly tone as he slowly grab the door handle and open it.
"I'll wait for you at the lobby,make it quick" The guide exit the room leaving Edward alone.
Edward sighes,He quickly took off his shirt, grabbed a white towel from the Inn's closet and went into the bathroom to take a shower,5 Minutes went by and Edward finally steps out of shower with fully clothes..he hang his Towel on the door as exit his room and locked it from outside
Edward walked down the long corridor. Each room had a jar of light magic placed next to the door to illuminate the entire corridor, until he finally reached the stairs and descended to the lobby.
Finally,the boy arrives at the lobby,he quickly approached his guide, who was enjoying a conversation with the inn's receptionist..two of them stopped their conversation when they saw Edward appoarching them.
"Ah good morning!,how did you sleep" The receptionist asks with a warm smile on her face
"It's really really good,I love it" Edward respondes,his face was beaming with joy.
The Receptionist lets out a little chuckle While brushing her hair above her ears with her fingers "I'm glad you like our services"
"Ahem" The guide makes a cough before walking towards the door as he wears back his cloak "No time to waste,c'mon"
The Guide appoarch the door,he grabbed the door's handle and open it "Come on"
Edward shifted his gaze towards The Guide and then back at the receptionist
"Uh,bye bye" The Boy waves to the receptionist before leaving with The Guide
Outside of the inn was a bustling City of Heliora,the sound of horses' hooves can fill the city, followed by residents walking down the street.
"It's crowded" Edward whispered to the Guide as followed him from behind to the blacksmith
"Big discounts on fruit at the main market of the kingdom,people are going crazy over this"
The Guide whispers back as they make their way towards the Blacksmith.
"You didn't buy the fruits?" Edward asks with a mocking tone
"Already got some"
The guide responds while trying to cover his hands inside his Cloak
Some minutes later,they arrives at the blacksmith,The guide walks towards the metal door and knock it slowly then he stepped back waiting for an answer,some minute went by and finally the door was opened by a muscular guy wearing an helmet for his head protection.
"Can I help you gentlemen? "
The Muscular guy asked while his eyes examines the both of them.
"We are here for weapons."
The Guide responds while extends his hand for an handshake,The muscular guy shakes his hand firmly and take a peek on the arm.
"..AHAHAHAHA!! " The Muscular guy bursts out of laughter after seeing the Skeleton tattoo on the guide's right arm
"Ah,come in! Come in! " The Muscular guy steps aside while opening the door for them,the two of them walks inside the Blacksmith
"Welcome to Andrei's blacksmith!,how may is help you?" Andrei greeted with a warm smile.
The Blacksmith was filled with weapon,smoke and the sound of small singing Creatures,one of the "Non-hostile creature" Or NHC
The Guide nudged Edward's right arm, signaling Edward to speak.
"Hm? Oh yea,so I need a..Sword-"
"What kind of sword?" Andrei asks with curiosity as he examines the boy in front of him.
"..A fighting swo-"
"Yes,what kind? " Andrei interrupted Edward before he had even finished speaking, crossing his arms.
"...Well uh,what do you ha-"
"Depends on the user, of course!..if the user is good at close combat then "Messer" Or "Jian" Is really good Choice"
Andrei interrupted Edward once again.
"But if the user is is not too Good with a close combat then a longer sword is the absolute choice! "
Andrei pauses for a second before turns to Edward and Guide. "So!,anything on your mind?"
Edward looks around,clearly in a dilemma until he spots one of a shiny sword hanged on the wall.
"What is that?" Edward points at one of the Sword that was hanged to a wall
"Oh this beauty?" Andrei shifted his gaze at the hanged sword and grabbed it.
"This is A Knightly type Sword,made with a A tier Creature bone mixed with obsidian and Tungsten.." Andrei looks at the Sword with proud.
"Hm? A Tier Creature? Which one? "
Edward asks with curiosity while leans in closer to take a peek at the Sword
"Sasquatch or people likes to called it Bigfoot,hardest to catch." Andrei sighs as he put his hand on his beard
"I tell you what,you beat this Edgy mysterious guy in a duel and this beauty is yours" Andrei put a smirks on his face while handed the Sword at Edward
"Hmm... "
The Guide rises from his seat,He extends his hand an within seconds a Katana blade appears out of thin air.
"Maybe I can teach you deeper about magic? "
"Hmm..why not? " The boy put a arrogant smug on his face as he take Blade
"Haha!!,That's the spirit..come on..let's duel at the Backyard! "
Andrei chuckle as he appoarch the back door and open it widely,The three of them exit the Blacksmith for duel.
"Now,Edward..in this world there's three type of magic..Natural,Unnatural Magic and Support Magic"
The Guide stand in front of the Boy while tighten his grab in his katana.
"Natural magic is magic that has not been modified or interfered with by humans..Such as Fire,water,Light,darkness and other"
Edward stood tall, pointing his sword at The Guide."Damn, it's pretty heavy," he said to himself.
"Meanwhile, unnatural magic is the opposite, magic that has been modified by the Human,
Such as Bone Magic,Blood magic,Inscent Magic."
Andrei watching from the distance with a smug
"And Lastly Support magic,just like it's name..its magic for support..like Healing magic"
"And..Every people has it own Main Magic..their generational magic And the magic they mastered best"
The Guide takes a deep breath "But first.. "
The Guide sprints at full speed to Edward and tried slashes him with his katana which Edward blocked with his Sword
