Chapter 16 - 16

Pepper Potts stepped forward, looking at Tony Stark, who was staring at the formula race car in deep thought, and asked, "What are you thinking about, Mr. Chairman?"

"I have an idea," Tony Stark glanced at Pepper Potts.

"Hmm?" Pepper Potts raised an eyebrow.

"That is to install my intelligent system on the formula race car. I've even thought of the name, 'Super Intelligent Formula.'" Tony Stark raised his head, a smug look on his face, waiting for Pepper Potts' praise.

"Wow, you're really amazing. If you enter the racing or automotive industry, our company's stock will definitely skyrocket. I've even thought of a name, 'Tesla,'" Pepper Potts said sarcastically and irritably.

"Hahaha, as expected of my secretary, truly brilliant!" Tony Stark playfully laughed and put his arm around Pepper Potts' waist.

"Hmph." Pepper Potts broke free from Tony Stark's wandering hand and pouted as she left.

"Hey, aren't you going to say anything?" Tony Stark called out to Pepper Potts, watching her turn back and give him an exasperated look.

"Be careful when driving, you're not a professional race car driver," Pepper Potts said, and without waiting for Tony Stark's reaction, she quickly left.

Pepper Potts' concern put Tony Stark in a good mood.

"Seriously, I came here to talk business, but ended up driving instead." Pepper Potts ran quickly, not wanting to keep her business partners waiting too long.

Tony Stark sat in the red formula race car seat, his gaze fixed on the track ahead. The roar of the engine filled his ears, and he could feel the spread of speed, an intoxicating thrill emerging within him.

Monaco's street circuit was winding and steep, challenging the driver's skill and reflexes. Tony skillfully controlled the steering wheel, deftly navigating between curves and straightaways, each turn a test of extreme limits.

"Awesome!"

Tony Stark couldn't help but exclaim.

But suddenly, Tony felt a sharp pain radiating from his chest. He frowned, struggling to resist the intense pain, but the toxin spread relentlessly. He knew there was a problem with his reactor, which was the power of his heart and crucial to him as Iron Man.

Tony's vision blurred, and he felt his body gradually lose control. The formula race car began to lose balance. He tried to keep the vehicle stable, but as the toxin spread, his body could no longer support him. Gritting his teeth, he began to steady the steering wheel and then slow down.

Just as Tony felt despair, a lightning-fast figure, with an electric whip clearing the way, there was a sudden crackle and a crash.

The vehicle was struck down and sent flying.

Tony was thrown from the car, his body painfully tumbling on the ground, blood and dust intermingling.

"Oh! Tony." Pepper Potts, who witnessed this scene from the VIP lounge, was anxious and immediately shouted, "Happy, quickly get Tony his Iron Man Suit!"

"Hurry!"

"I see it!" Happy Hogan rushed over.

Pepper Potts immediately dialed the Police.

Tony Stark struggled to evade Ivan Vanko's attacks. His body was already corroded by toxins, and his strength was weakened, but his will, at this moment, gritted its teeth and endured.

Ivan Vanko's exoskeleton armor made his strength incredibly powerful. Wielding electric whips, he mercilessly attacked Tony. The electric whips whistled through the air, carrying terrifying destructive power, each strike filling the air with the "scorched smell" of electrical arcs.

"I finally found you, Tony Stark, the sole survivor of the thief clan. Soon, you too will follow suit."

"Death."

He stared at Tony Stark's disheveled appearance, a smirk on his face, his eyes glinting with excitement. With each swing of the electric whips, he felt his revenge against the Stark family drawing closer.

But Tony Stark was not defeated by Ivan's attacks. Although severely injured, he relied on his strong willpower and desire for survival, constantly dodging the fierce assaults of the electric whips.

"You."

"You, who are you?" Tony Stark gasped, looking at Ivan Vanko's evil grin.

"Tony Stark, you don't need to know who I am. If you really want to know." Ivan Vanko's hand moved swiftly. "Then it's the God of Death." He swung the electric whips, his gaze fiercely locked on Tony Stark. He swung the electric whips violently, the destructive chains whistling through the air.

But Tony Stark, with astonishing agility and reflexes, successfully dodged his attack.

Pressed against the formula race car, Tony's body was a mess. He held his breath, and as Tony dodged, the electric whips left a lightning-like arc in the air. Tony used his agile movements to quickly leap over the race car's hood, flipping to the other side. The electric whips struck the car's hood with a loud crash.

Tony Stark landed in balance, the wounds on his body causing him intense pain, but he gritted his teeth, endured the suffering, and focused on his confrontation with Ivan.

"I can't hold on much longer." Tony Stark watched Ivan Vanko slowly advancing, holding the electric whips.

"Originally, I planned to use whips, but someone told me that chains seemed more effective. I now find that to be true." Looking at Tony Stark, whose strength seemed exhausted, Ivan Vanko no longer suppressed his inner pleasure, a smirk on his face.

"Die!" Ivan Vanko stepped forward, raising the electric whips and bringing them down.

Bang!

Ivan Vanko was instantly blasted away by the special portable palm cannon in Tony Stark's palm.

"Tony!" Happy Hogan arrived, panting.

"Perfect timing." Tony Stark, gasping for breath, said no more and took the portable briefcase Iron Man Suit from Happy Hogan.

"Transformers: Activate!" Nathan Hawke, watching this scene from the VIP lounge, recalled the words that came to his mind when he was young, watching Tony Stark transform at his computer desk.

Tony Stark rapidly put on the Iron Man Suit, the armor perfectly integrating with his body, giving him immense strength and protection. He felt the power of the armor flowing through him, determined to completely destroy Ivan Vanko's exoskeleton armor.

"Although I don't know who you are, this Joker farce is about to end."

The Iron Man Suit gleamed with metallic luster, each piece of armor shining with a cold light. Tony's eyes became firm, and he stood on the formula race car like an immovable fortress.

"This!" Ivan Vanko watched Tony's transformation, anger and fear intertwined in his eyes. He realized that his advantage had vanished, and facing Iron Man, his exoskeleton armor became fragile and vulnerable.

"Time, time." Ivan Vanko muttered subconsciously.

Tony swung the Iron Man gauntlets in his hands, carrying immense power, and charged at Ivan. His fists struck the exoskeleton armor with deafening roars.

Ivan was repelled by Tony's attack, his exoskeleton began to flash with sparks, and Ivan Vanko, with blood on his lips, showed a hint of resentment in his eyes. Tony gave Ivan no chance to breathe, quickly launching a series of attacks, each punch making the exoskeleton armor more fragile.

Ivan Vanko desperately resisted, but at this moment, the disparity in their equipment became apparent. Tony seized the opportunity to activate his Rocket thrusters, accelerating instantly, circling behind Ivan at lightning speed, and then smashing a punch into his exoskeleton's back.

Then, with a rip, he tore Ivan Vanko and threw him aside.

Ivan Vanko, tumbling on the ground, struggled to get up. He roared furiously, "Damn it, damn the Stark family."

The Police of Monaco finally arrived at the scene. They deployed urgently and subdued Ivan Vanko. Ivan's eyes were filled with rage as he stared at Tony Stark, a smirk on his face, openly mocking him.

"Stark, do you think you've won? Do you think you can get away with it forever?" Ivan's voice was filled with endless anger and hatred.

Seeing that the other party ignored him, Ivan's rage burned even brighter. He struggled, trying to break free from the Police's restraints. He glared at Tony, gritting his teeth, his eyes flashing with madness.

"You will pay for what you've done, Stark! You and your entire family will fall into the abyss of destruction!" Ivan's voice was filled with hatred and threat.

"This isn't over yet!"

Ivan Vanko was taken away.

And Iron Man collapsed on the racetrack, his fate unknown.

"Die, die, die, die, die..." Nathan Hawke watched Justin Hammer, who was excitedly muttering at the Iron Man lying on the racetrack, with a speechless expression.

Nathan Hawke saw Happy Hogan, Pepper Potts, the Police, medical personnel, dismantlers... "Boss, Operation Hedgehog has begun." A security guard, who was actually a member of the Umbrella Corporation's special forces, whispered into Nathan Hawke's ear.

"Understood." Nathan Hawke nodded, saying nothing more. The overall commander for this operation was Wesker, and Nathan Hawke felt confident leaving it to him.

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"

Red alarms blared incessantly, and the sound of countless footsteps filled the air.

The Umbrella Corporation's special forces were engaged in a fierce battle with HYDRA. Hydra Soldiers occupied advantageous terrain, cunningly counterattacking, making it difficult for the special forces to gain a clear advantage.

The special forces launched a precise offensive, coordinating closely, using cover and suppressive fire against the Hydra Soldiers. Sephiroth, with calm and keen tactical command, guided his team members through the enemy, searching for weaknesses and vulnerabilities.

The Hydra Soldiers fought back fiercely, forming a tight defensive line, trying to resist the special forces' advance. Intense gunfire echoed through the Base, explosions constantly erupted, and the battlefield instantly became a scene of chaos.

The special forces members worked closely together, seamlessly exchanging fire and cover, protecting each other. Sephiroth displayed excellent command skills, and his marksmanship was impeccable; every shot hit the enemy's vital points.

However, the enemy's stubborn resistance led to a stalemate.

"Officer, the enemy's numerical advantage is too great." The adjutant looked at Sephiroth.

Sephiroth calmly thought, knowing he needed a more imposing entrance to change the situation.
