Chapter 24 - Chapter 23

The atmosphere in the hall was so tense, all the elders stared at Ain sharply.

"It just looks neat, I don't really like it when someone stands behind you all, who knows, they will hurt you all" Sally said.

"Elder Jin, don't your knees hurt, it's okay to just stand" Sally said to Elder Jin.

Angrily, Elder Jin sat down when he was the only one standing.

"Okay, now start this meeting" Sally said.

"We want you to resign from this position, It's unfair because you have nothing to do with us and the wealth and followers you have should be given to us back" Elder Jin said arrogantly.

Sally nodded in understanding "So you all don't respect the decision of your former leader, why don't you all go to his grave and ask why none of you are the leader of this mafia" She said.

The elders were silent and didn't say anything.

Sally stood up and walked to the Elders' seats one by one followed by Syaf

"What do you say if I give you all a chance to sit in that chair, look at the empty chair now" Sally said while pointing her hand towards the chair.

Half of the elders felt scared and did not dare to look at the chair.

"Elder Jin, that's a chance for you, I promise while you sit in that chair, no bodyguards will touch you" Sally invited him.

Elder Jin seemed to not dare to get up.

"You all planned for so long for today and I gave you all the chairs, why do you look like a rat being stepped on" Sally said.

The atmosphere was still tense, Sally seemed unable to contain her anger and she threw a glass at the wall.

The sound of broken glass shocked all the elders who were there.

"No one dares to sit here because you all know what the price of sitting in this chair is.

I know that among you all, there are those who have betrayed me and some who want me dead. You may get this wealth and power, but you have to pay with your life," Sally said loudly.
