Chapter 122 - The Battle for Dressrosa Begins

"Is this Leo's power?" At the Royal Plateau, Violet watched the Silver Pirate Alliance being wiped out in a single move, unable to hide her shock as her eyes widened. After a dazed moment, an unprecedented light and unusual brilliance erupted in her eyes.

The Donquixote Family had no prior interaction with Leo. He must be coming for her, Monet, and the others. With Leo's strength, he could certainly defeat Doflamingo and liberate Dressrosa.

Just as Violet was so excited she could barely contain herself...

Dressrosa's Outer Sea.

"Lord Leo, we do know the Gold Emperor's location," Kin'emon nodded, holding nothing back. First, Leo had saved them. Second, having left Wano, he was unfamiliar with these lands, wandering aimlessly with no idea who to turn to for help. Leo before him was one of his hopes.

After hesitating a moment, Kin'emon suddenly bowed deeply. "Lord Leo, I have an impertinent request."

Leo glanced at him coolly. No need to guess; Kin'emon surely wanted him to rescue Kanjuro. If Kin'emon knew Kanjuro was a mole whose only goal was to locate Zou, he wondered what he would think. Leo was no philanthropist; he wouldn't get involved in their grudges. However, Bakkin and Carina were still targets. Leo had been wondering how to find Gran Tesoro; now it had delivered itself to him.

Seeing no response from Leo, Kin'emon maintained his bow. Beside him, the lecherous Momonosuke's lewd gaze swept over Nami, Hancock, and the others like a spotlight, already consumed by lust. Kanjuro, revenge plans—all were tossed aside. Especially when Momonosuke saw Shirahoshi, two sprays of blood mist erupted from his nostrils. He instinctively stuck out his tongue, circling his lips.

What kind of peerless beauty was this?!

"So beautiful... simply too beautiful," Momonosuke muttered, his lips growing drier. If he could just bury himself in them now, he would die without regret.

"Leo-brother, I'm going back to my room~" Shirahoshi, feeling physically uncomfortable under Momonosuke's stare, said softly before turning to leave the deck.

"Shirahoshi, I'll go with you."

"Captain, I'm heading back too."

After informing Leo, over a dozen other women followed suit. Momonosuke's highly aggressive gaze and the lewd smile spreading on his face were truly hard to bear.

"Little boy, staring so blatantly at others isn't polite, you know~" Hancock said, looking at Momonosuke with a half-smiling expression. If he weren't just a kid, she would have turned him to stone already.

Momonosuke ignored Hancock's warning, his eyes still roving over the alluring figures of Shirahoshi and the others.

BOOM!

Suddenly, a pressure descended like cold water dumped on Momonosuke. He shuddered violently, his eyes gradually clearing. Looking at Leo, he fearfully shrunk his neck and instinctively moved closer to Kin'emon.

Leo snorted coldly but didn't press further. Soon enough, he'd make this little pervert regret ever leaving Wano.

"Find somewhere to wait. After I deal with Doflamingo, I'll help you rescue Kanjuro," Leo stated expressionlessly.

"Thank y—"

BOOM!

Before Kin'emon could finish his thanks, the airship roared and shot toward Dressrosa at high speed. Kin'emon's mouth hung open before he gave a bitter smile. He didn't mind. As long as Leo helped save Kanjuro, nothing else mattered.

"Lord Momonosuke, Kanjuro can be saved!"

"Kin'emon, row quickly! We're going to that island too!" The distracted Momonosuke's eyes were glued to the departing airship, his voice filled with urgency.

"He's here!!" At the Royal Plateau, watching the gradually enlarging airship in her vision, Violet nervously clenched her fists and turned to leave the hall.

Shortly after she exited, urgent alarm bells began ringing across Dressrosa.

Elsewhere.

Doflamingo's face was dark, his heart burning with anxiety. That bitch Violet actually dared disobey his orders. Even his own Observation Haki had detected Leo's aura, yet Violet had given him no warning. But now wasn't the time for blame. The priority was dealing with the immediate crisis.

The piercing alarm blared incessantly. Countless citizens panicked, dropping their work and fleeing. This was Dressrosa's highest-level alert. It only sounded in two situations: internal rebellion, or a powerful enemy invasion. Clearly, this was the latter.

On the streets, in a hidden corner, three figures lurked sneakily. They were the Revolutionary Army operatives sent by Dragon to infiltrate Dressrosa and gather evidence of Doflamingo's smuggling: the fishman karate master Hack, the girl with orange hair like Nami's named Koala, and the tall girl with a golden ponytail and polka-dot bandana, Mota.

"That's Leo?!" Koala looked surprised at the luxurious airship hovering in the air. Though she couldn't see the people on it clearly, the ship was one of a kind on the seas, making his identity obvious.

"Damn it, why is he in Dressrosa?" Hack frowned, sensing trouble. Leo's presence would undoubtedly complicate their mission.

"We must inform the leader immediately." Realizing the seriousness, Hack quickly pulled out a Den Den Mushi.

However, at that moment, a sudden change occurred. Out of nowhere, over a hundred blood-red bats emerged, surrounding Koala and the others.

"My, my~ The Captain is amazing, actually finding you three." A seductive voice followed as the bats coalesced into Stussy's form. She examined Koala and Mota appreciatively. "Quite pretty. No wonder you caught the Captain's eye. Will you two come with me willingly, or do I have to rough you up first?" Stussy crossed her arms, grinning mischievously at them.

"Bastard! Don't even think about it!"

"Koala! Mota! I'll hold her off! You two run!" Hack moved to cover their retreat. "Ten Brick Fist!!"

"Rude, refusing to see reason until you're staring at the coffin~" Stussy shook her head disdainfully and snapped her fingers. "Vampire Bats!"

Instantly, countless blood batsengulfed the three.

Meanwhile, at the port.

Leo and the combatants from his ship had already set foot on Dressrosa. Sensing the battlefield where Stussy and Hack were, a satisfied curve touched Leo's lips. He hadn't expected to encounter two of the Revolutionary Army's three beauties here: Koala and Mota. Was he truly blessed today? That would make seven women falling into his hands at once. Leo couldn't help but smile. Since leaving the East Blue, he'd never fought such a battle of abundance. With the Gold Emperor's location known, Carina and Bakkin were also within reach. In a way, he was acquiring nine women today. Sweet.

As this thought pleased him, Doflamingo arrived at the port with his officers. Looking over, it was all men. Aside from the non-combatants Sugar and Violet, even officers like Baby 5 and Monet were absent. Clearly, Doflamingo was wary of something.

Upon seeing Leo, all the officers looked as if facing a great enemy, full of vigilance. Only Doflamingo spread his arms with a welcoming smile. "Fufufufufu~ Leo, welcome to my Dressrosa." Even knowing Leo's true purpose, he couldn't make the first move.

"Kill them," Leo waved his hand, not bothering with talk. Whether Doflamingo handed them over or not, he was dying today.

"Leo, you bastard!!" Hearing this, Doflamingo's pupils constricted sharply. Damn, even Kaido wasn't this overbearing.

"Young Master, it's come to this. Let's fight!" Officer Pica, with his sharp voice, sank into the stone ground, his face grim. With the enemy at their doorstep, they couldn't just sit and wait for death.

"Fufufufufufu~ Fine! Leo, let me experience your skills firsthand!" Doflamingo spread his hands, five threads of different colors shooting from his fingertips.

"Hahaha... Doflamingo, your opponent is this queen," Hancock scoffed, slowly stepping forward from the crowd. With each step, her killing intent grew.

"Fufufufu~ Hancock!" Doflamingo's face turned stern, his black-gloved hands moving deftly. He didn't fear Hancock herself, but the purple longbow she'd used at Marineford—the one that had killed Admiral Kizaru.

"Five Colored Strings!!" Doflamingo's hand slashed down, the five threads piercing toward Hancock, now coated with refined Armament Haki.

"Child's play! Pistol Kiss!" Hancock snorted lightly, forming pink hearts with her hands. Countless pink arrows shot toward Doflamingo like a rainstorm. Their battle had begun.

"Invading my Dressrosa? You'll all die here today! Rock Drill!" Suddenly, the ground shook violently. The next second, several thick, sharp stone pillars thrust toward Leo and the others.

"Cliff Sword!" A bright sword flash cut through, severing all the rising pillars. "Hiding like a rat? Get out!" Tashigi shouted coldly, her Observation Haki pinpointing Pica's location. Several crisscrossing, sharp sword slashes howled forth, striking the Haki-locked stone wall one after another.

RUMBLE— Large rocks fell, shaking the earth.

"Pikakakakaka~" A sharp, piercing laugh sounded from the side. Pica's face reappeared on a giant stone wall. "I'll make you damn intruders pay!!" The enraged Pica activated the Stone-Stone Fruit again, making the ground shake even more violently. A huge protrusion slowly emerged from the stone wall.

"What is that?!" Countless Dressrosa citizens looked toward the port. A colossally huge stone giant came into view.

"Officer Pica! That's Officer Pica!"

"Damn it, why is Leo invading Dressrosa?!"

"They've started fighting! Can Lord Doflamingo defeat Leo?!"

"He has to! We must believe in him!"

"I hope so..."

Many citizens clasped their hands in prayer.

Meanwhile, in a room at the Royal Plateau.

"The Young Master... he won't be in danger, will he?" Sugar crossed her fingers, pressing her fists to her chest, her face full of worry. Leo's reputation was too loud—so loud that just hearing his name inspired fear. Though Doflamingo was the only king she recognized, against Leo...

"You two stay here. I'm going to check on the Young Master." The officer Monet, with her grass-green wavy hair, couldn't rest easy. After instructing the other two, she flapped her wings and flew swiftly toward the port.

Back at the battle center.

Following Hancock and Tashigi, the other women found their own opponents. Marguerite's gaze swept over the Donquixote Family officers, information and abilities flashing in her mind. Finally, her eyes settled on a man with horns on his head and deep red high heels on his feet: the half-fishman, half-bullfighting fish, Dellinger.

"Shadow Assassination!" Marguerite's figure vanished like a ghost.

"So fast!" Dellinger's pupils constricted sharply.

"Decapitation High Heel!" Not to be outdone, he closed in.

"Death Enjambre!" The high-ranking officer Diamante, wearing a fur-trimmed hat, face paint, and a red cape, seized the opportunity to strike. He pulled out party poppers, firing a sky full of paper scraps above Leo's group. The power of the Paramecia Flag-Flag Fruit activated! The once-light paper scraps instantly turned into razor-sharp thorned iron balls, falling like a net of thorns over Leo and the others.

Leo glanced up slightly, his gaze calm, devoid of emotion.

"Mil Fleur: Spider's Lily!" Robin crossed her arms. Hundreds of jet-black hands wove into a giant net, catching all the descending thorned iron.

"Returning it!" The next second, the net flung upward, sending the captured thorns flying back toward Diamante.

"Shit! Bullfighting Cape!" Seeing the sky-blotting rain of thorns, Diamante instinctively cursed. He quickly turned his red cape into steel, shielding himself. A moment later, and he'd have been a sieve.

"Damn it, they're all so strong!" Officer Gladius said with a dark face, cursing under his breath. "I'll fight you to the death! Boulder Bomb!!" Gladius twisted the gear device on his left arm. Instantly, several black stones shot toward Leo, swelling visibly mid-air—the power of his Paramecia Pop-Pop Fruit, making inorganic matter expand and explode violently.

Leo shook his head, finding it dull. If not for training the women's combat skills, he wouldn't waste time here.

"Barrier Shield!" At the critical moment, multiple overlapping barrier grids materialized before Leo, blocking the explosive impact.

"Ground Barrage!" With a light shout, countless dangerous, sharp barrier spikes erupted from the ground beneath Gladius.
