Before Serena could ask for more information about the three missions Liz had found for her, Kiro and Theo returned from the river. She quickly whispered to Liz that they would talk later before she turned her attention to them.
Theo had brought her a bucket of water to wash up because the sun was setting soon and by then the water would be icy cold. Serena was grateful for the water and quickly took a whore's bath inside the hut while Theo took over cooking.
Once she had thrown out the dirty water, dinner was finished cooking. Theo served up food and they had dinner and enjoyed some leisure time after cleaning up.
"I think tomorrow I'll go catch some wild birds." Theo mused aloud after Serena put Kiro to bed. "I saw some nests the other day, so there should be a few lingering around."
Serena took a seat next to him in front of the fire and nodded her head in understanding. Then a thought suddenly crossed her mind.
