Chapter 75 - CHAPTER 75: THE GIRL STUCK IN ICE!

After resting for a few minutes, Mo Fan changed his clothes and bid the Black Dragon Emperor farewell before flying back in the direction of China.

"I still have something to take care of... I hope my Demon Element won't run out before then," Mo Fan muttered. The more he used his Demon Element, the faster he lost it.

He had already used 90% of it looking at the state of his Spiritual world...

It was a race against time now.

With a whoosh, his body glowed in silver light as he suddenly vanished from the air. Mo Fan had teleported.

...

Tian Shan...

The Tian Shan Mountain range, also known as the "Heavenly Mountains," stretched majestically across the western part of China, cloaked in a perpetual blanket of snow and ice all year round. These towering peaks, with their jagged ridges and serene valleys, presented a breath-taking spectacle of nature's raw and untouched beauty. The air was crisp and biting, laden with the invigorating purity of high altitude, free from pollution, and each breath filled the lungs with a sense of pristine clarity.

From a distance, the place looked extremely beautiful and mesmerizing, but in reality, it was a no man's zone. Designated as a Purple Zone, its actual difficulty was even greater, bordering on a Black Zone.

Mo Fan hovered near the tallest mountain in the centre of the Tianshan range, its height spanning around 6000 meters into the sky.

WHOOSH!!

Mo Fan's body slowly began to burn. The flames surrounding him flared up, emitting a heat that even melted the millennium-old ice. He looked akin to a bright red star in the sky.

The demonic flames of the Sacred Evil God burned supremely and uncontrollably, forming a barrier around Mo Fan as he locked his gaze not on the peak of the mountain, but in the abyssal ravine below.

The ravine was deep and dark, and ice-cold, with temperatures as frigid as the polar night of Antarctica. Without delay, like a meteor streaking across the sky, Mo Fan dived into the ravine, illuminating it with his fiery presence.

SWOOSH!!!

The ravine beneath the Tianshan Scar was so cold that even Mo Fan's flames were extinguished at a rapid pace. The ice-cold wind immediately froze his skin where the flames had been extinguished. His skin turned blue and cracked apart within seconds, but he paid it no heed and continued deeper into the ravine.

The ravine was vast, with no end in sight as Mo Fan continued his free fall. The further he dropped, the colder it became.

BWOOSHH!!

Mo Fan's flames were almost extinguished when he finally saw a tunnel below. He stopped free-falling and accelerated, his vanished flames reigniting and his cold, cracked skin recovering in an instant.

He didn't touch the ground but flew inside the tunnel that diverged the Ravine from the tunnel. After riding on the flames for a few minutes, he finally saw a huge crystalline wall of ice. He stopped and landed on the thick snow in front of the wall.

The ice wall was pristine and untouched, and through it, Mo Fan could clearly see the figure of a person trapped inside.

Trapped within the pristine ice, the girl looked like a figure from a dream, an ethereal ice spirit from ancient legends. Her long, flowing hair, as white as freshly fallen snow, cascaded gracefully around her, framing her delicate face. Each strand seemed to shimmer with an otherworldly luminescence, catching the light and reflecting it in soft, iridescent hues that danced across the icy prison.

Her skin was flawless and pale, almost translucent, giving her an unearthly glow that contrasted beautifully with the blue-tinted ice. Despite the cold, her cheeks had a faint blush, like the first blush of dawn on a winter morning. Her closed eyes, framed by long, dark lashes, added to her serene, almost meditative appearance.

Her lips, a gentle shade of pink, were slightly parted, as if she were on the verge of whispering a secret to the frozen world around her. The delicate lines of her face were soft yet defined, giving her an ageless beauty that seemed untouched by time or the harsh elements.

She wore a simple, flowing gown that clung to her form, accentuating her lithe and graceful figure. The fabric, though frozen, appeared to be made of the finest silk, rippling in the encasing ice as though caught in an eternal breeze.

The purity of her beauty was mesmerizing, a stark contrast to the cold, unyielding glacier that held her captive. She exuded an aura of tranquillity and quiet strength, as if she were a guardian spirit of the mountains, bound by some ancient curse but still radiating hope and serenity.

In that silent, icy prison, she was a vision of ethereal grace and haunting beauty, a living embodiment of winter's delicate and unforgiving allure.

Mo Fan was momentarily enchanted by her otherworldly beauty, but at the same time, an extreme sadness burst inside his heart at the sight of her lonely imprisonment. For seven years, she had been patiently waiting for her beloved to come and rescue her.

"I know I'm not the one you're waiting for... That's why I apologise in advance," Mo Fan spoke, his voice traveling through the ice and reaching her mind directly. Even though she was frozen, she furrowed her brows slightly upon hearing an unfamiliar voice.

Mo Fan's body flared up once again, but this time, the fire condensed around him densely, emitting a heat that simply couldn't be compared to before.

He took a step forward and walked through the extremely firm and crystalline wall, melting it in an instant.

The ice wall was a forbidden curse of the ice element, and only the one who cast it could remove it. But Mo Fan completely ignored the rules and walked through the ice, melting it effortlessly.

He walked thirty steps and finally reached the girl. The ice around her melted, and she fell into Mo Fan's warm arms. The fire around Mo Fan didn't hurt her; instead, it gave her a warmth that she desperately lacked.

Mo Fan delicately embraced her and covered her with his cloak. The pale blue face of the girl, tortured by the ice poison for seven years, returned to human warmth. She momentarily opened her eyes, but in her weakened state, she couldn't clearly see the face of the person who had rescued her, and soon fell asleep again.

Mo Fan, seeing her state, knew the next step he had to take. With great care, he began channelling his healing powers. His hands glowed with a gentle, emerald light as he directed the energy into her frail body. The warmth spread through her, battling the lingering ice poison that had tormented her for so long.

The girl's extremely faint breathing stabilized, and her complexion gradually regained colour. As he worked, Mo Fan could sense the ice poison slowly retreating, driven back by his powerful healing magic. He held her close, ensuring that the warmth of his flames kept her comfortable.

Once satisfied that she was stable, Mo Fan carefully wrapped her in additional layers of his cloak to protect her from the harsh cold outside.

"You've suffered for far too long... from now on, I will personally make sure that no harm will come to you." Mo Fan said.

"Let's get out of here"
