Chapter 102 - CHAPTER 102: MO FAN’S 1 ON 1 COUNSELING SESSION, PART II

As the breathless moment hung in the air, the reality of the situation slowly began to set in for Mo Fan.

He could still feel the lingering warmth of Tang Yue's lips on his, the softness, springiness and warmth of her body on his. His eyes, now slightly clearer, met hers with a mixture of confusion and raw emotion.

Mo Fan's mind raced, trying to make sense of what had just happened. Tang Yue, his teacher and his crush from his High school days, had kissed him with such a passion that left him breathless.

But as the seconds ticked by, the realization of the circumstances hit him like a cold splash of water. _N-no! This needs to be stopped!_

Tang Yue wasn't herself; she had been heavily dosed with aphrodisiacs, and her current state was a dangerous mix of desire and influence, not a true reflection of her feelings.

Tang Yue on the other hand, still intoxicated went for another kiss! But before it could happen, Mo Fan turned his head avoiding it.

"Ms. Tang Yue," Mo Fan began, his voice soft and hesitant. He gently placed her on the seat again and pulled away, creating a small but significant distance between them. "We can't... Not like this."

Tang Yue's expression shifted, a flicker of confusion crossing her face. Her breathing was still heavy, her chest rising and falling rapidly. The flush of her cheeks and the desire in her eyes spoke of a longing that Mo Fan knew wasn't entirely her own.

_Damn..._ He had to remind himself that she was under the influence, and it wasn't fair to let things continue in this state.

"You're... not yourself right now," Mo Fan continued, trying to keep his voice steady. "The aphrodisiac... it's affecting you. I can't take advantage of you like this. You're my teacher, and... and a lot more than that."

Her eyes widened slightly, realization dawning. She looked away, her gaze falling to the floor as if trying to piece together the fragments of her thoughts. The clarity of Mo Fan's words seemed to break through the haze of her induced state, bringing a semblance of understanding.

"But... I..." Tang Yue's voice was shaky, her fingers clenching the fabric of her clothes. "I... I've wanted..."

Mo Fan reached out, gently taking her hand in his. "It's okay," he reassured her softly. "It's the drugs talking, not you. When this is over, when you're back to your senses, we can figure out what's real. But right now, we need to stop this before it goes too far."

Tang Yue's eyes filled with a mixture of frustration and shame. She bit her lip, her breath still unsteady. Mo Fan could see the struggle in her expression, the fight between her own will and the chemicals coursing through her system.

Finally, she nodded, a small, reluctant gesture that carried a weight of understanding. "You're right," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I'm sorry, Mo Fan... I didn't mean to....

Mo Fan shook his head, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "It's not your fault," he said, trying to offer her some comfort. "Let's just get you home, and we can talk about this later, when you're feeling better."

With a deep, shaky breath, Tang Yue leaned back, her eyes closing as she tried to regain control. Mo Fan released her hand and sat back as well, his mind still buzzing with the intensity of the moment.

He watched Tang Yue closely, her expression torn between embarrassment and residual desire.

Tang Yue leaned against the window, her fingers still trembling. The cool glass against her forehead seemed to ground her, a stark contrast to the heat coursing through her body. She struggled to focus, to push through the haze of the aphrodisiac's influence.

Mo Fan clenched his hands, resisting the urge to reach out and comfort her further. He knew that any touch, any gesture, could be misconstrued under these circumstances.

The last thing he wanted was to give in to a moment of weakness that neither of them might truly want when the effects wore off.

"Mo Fan..." Tang Yue's voice was soft, almost a murmur. She turned her head slightly, meeting his gaze with a mix of vulnerability and something else—something deeper that Mo Fan couldn't quite place. "I... I'm scared. Not just of what happened, but of what this means."

He swallowed hard, trying to find the right words. "You don't need to be scared. Whatever you're feeling right now, it's influenced by the aphrodisiac. It's not... it's not entirely you."

Tang Yue shook her head, her expression conflicted. "No, it's not just the drugs. Maybe they brought it out, but... I've felt something for a while now. It's just that, in this state, everything feels so much more... amplified."

Ba-Thump!

Mo Fan's heart skipped a beat upon hearing her!

He knew this conversation was heading into dangerous territory, one that could change everything between them. But he couldn't ignore her words, couldn't dismiss the truth she was struggling to express.

"Ms. Tang Yue..." After taking a deep breath to calm himself down, Mo Fan continued, "As I said before, you're not able to think clearly because of the drug... The feelings you're experiencing might just be on the spur of moment. After the effects are over and you're back to normal, what if you don't feel that way anymore?" Choosing his words very carefully he tried to dissuade the situation between them.

She looked at him, her eyes searching his for something, perhaps reassurance or understanding. "But what if... what if this is what I want?" Her voice was barely above a whisper, her words laden with the weight of unspoken emotions.

Sigh...

Mo Fan sighed, running a hand through his hair. "If that's the case, then we'll talk about it when you're yourself again. When the drugs have worn off, and we can think clearly." He forced a smile, trying to lighten the mood. "For now, let's just get you home safely."

Tang Yue stayed still for a moment after which she hung her head and clenched the seat of the taxi in frustration. She knew what Mo Fan was doing right now was the right thing, but all she wanted now was to make love to him.

She reluctantly nodded, her gaze softening. She knew he was right, even if part of her didn't want to admit it. The ride continued in silence, the air thick with unspoken words and unresolved tension.

As they approached her mansion, Mo Fan felt a sense of relief mixed with a strange reluctance.

The taxi pulled up, and Mo Fan helped Tang Yue out. Her steps were unsteady, her balance off-kilter from the remnants of the aphrodisiac. He guided her to the door, his touch gentle but careful.

"Get some rest, Ms. Tang Yue. We can talk about all this tomorrow when things are clearer." He said to her after he saw an old woman in maid uniform had come to get her.

With a final nod, Tang Yue entered her mansion, leaving Mo Fan standing outside the huge gates inlaid with different Magic Formations.

He watched the door close, the weight of the events settling heavily on his shoulders. The memory of the kiss, the confession, and the unspoken promise of more hung in the air like a delicate thread, ready to unravel at the slightest touch.
