Chapter 115 - CHAPTER 115: MO FAN, THE LAND OWNER~

After having lunch in the cafeteria of the Association, Mo Fan and Qin Yu'er walked back into the conference room where the trio was waiting.

Mr. Li, the legal advocate, and the Foreign Affairs assistant manager sat stiffly, their earlier smugness replaced by visible discomfort. The air was heavy with tension as Mo Fan and Qin Yu'er took their seats at the table.

Mo Fan leaned back, his arms crossed casually. "Alright, gentlemen," he began, his voice calm but sharp. "Let's not waste any more of each other's time. The acquisition deed—where is it?"

Mr. Li hesitated, his fingers drumming on the table nervously. He exchanged a glance with the advocate, who gave him a slight nod. Reluctantly, Mr. Li reached into his briefcase, pulling out a thick stack of documents. He slid them across the table toward Mo Fan and Qin Yu'er.

"This is the deed," Mr. Li said, his voice tight. "It contains all the details regarding the land, including the clauses for ownership transfer. You'll need to review and sign here, here, and here." He pointed to specific sections in the document.

Mo Fam reached for the papers, he flipped through the pages, his sharp eyes scanning the fine print. Qin Yu'er leaned closer, pretending to glance over his shoulder, since she literally didn't know anything regarding the documents.

"It all seems in order," Mo Fan finally said, his voice smooth. He placed the papers down and looked directly at Mr. Li. "Now, as per our agreement, we'll make the payment for the land—no more, no less. I trust there won't be any last-minute surprises?"

Mr. Li opened his mouth to say something but thought better of it, shaking his head. "Of course not, Mr. Mo. The agreed-upon amount remains unchanged."

Mo Fan nodded, his lips curling into a faint smirk. He reached into his pocket and retrieved his phone, dialing their chauffeur. "Mr. Zhang," he said, his tone commanding, "bring in the suitcases from the car."

The room went quiet as they waited. Moments later, the door opened, and a Middle aged man entered, carrying three huge suitcases. He placed them on the table in front of Mo Fan and stepped back respectfully.

Mo Fan gestured toward the cases. "The amount you requested. Count it, if you'd like."

Mr. Li's eyes widened at the sight of the huge suitcases, and for a moment, greed flickered across his face. He reached out hesitantly, unzipping one of the cases. Inside were neat stacks of 100 yuan cash, each bundle perfectly aligned.

For a moment, surprise flickered on his face upon looking at the 100yuan bills... He looked at Mo Fan who had an indifferent expression on his face.

No matter how large the money in the suitcase seemed, it was far too less! It might not even reach up to a Million Yuan...

The amount for the Entire Region which Mo Fan wanted to buy, was being sold to him for around 150 billion yuan. This suitcase full of money was not even a speck of dust compared to that astronomical sum...

Surely, not the rest of the suitcases are filled with cash as well right?

Mr. Li quickly opened the rest of the two suitcases, and sure enough, that was not the case with the rest of the two suitcases.

There were bundles of Bonds neatly and orderly stacked. Mr. Li immediately picked up the bond and read it, moments later his eyes almost popped out of his sockets!

Each Bond was priced around a 100 million yuan!

The advocate and the Foreign Affairs assistant manager leaned forward they also held the bonds, their professionalism slipping in the face of the sheer volume of money.

"This," Mo Fan said, leaning forward, "is the exact amount for the land. Nothing more, nothing less. You will provide us with a receipt for the payment, and we'll finalize this acquisition immediately."

Mr. Li cleared his throat, his hands trembling slightly as he zipped the suitcase back up. "Of course, of course," he stammered. "I'll have the receipt prepared right away."

Qin Yu'er's gaze didn't waver. "Good. And remember, Mr. Li, any delays or discrepancies from your end will not be tolerated."

The advocate quickly interjected, sensing the tension. "Rest assured, everything will proceed smoothly from here. We'll have the documents finalized within the hour."

"See that you do," Qin Yu'er said coldly. She glanced at Mo Fan, who gave a subtle nod.

As Zhang exited the room, the trio started to authenticate the final paperwork. The advocate and Foreign Affairs Asst. Manager busied themselves reviewing and stamping the necessary documents, occasionally whispering to each other.

Mo Fan leaned back in his chair, his expression calm but watchful. _Soon... I'll have the land in my hands..._ Mo Fan thought as he couldn't take his eyes off the deed.

...

After a while, Mr. Li broke the silence, clearing his throat nervously. "The documents are ready. Here," he said, sliding the deed and receipt across the table toward Qin Yu'er.

Qin Yu'er reached out, her manicured fingers gripping the papers with deliberate precision. She flipped through the pages once more, scrutinizing every detail, or at least she acted like she was... _Ahh~ What's with all these words, My head is spinning~_ she thought while maintaining a poker face.

The room was thick with tension, the air punctuated only by the faint rustling of paper as she read.

After a few minutes, she closed the file and placed it on the table. Her cold, commanding eyes met Mr. Li's. "Everything appears to be in order. Now, Mr. Li, you will ensure that this transaction is processed through the proper channels without incident."

"Of course, Ms. Qin," Mr. Li said hastily, his tone overly deferential. "I'll personally oversee it."

"Good. Because if there's so much as a whisper of irregularities, we'll be having another meeting. And trust me, Mr. Li, you won't enjoy it." As she said, Qin Yu'er released a bit of her Super Level Aura! A wave of chill spread into the surrounding the moment she did!

Her hair flickered a little as her presence seemed even more dominating then before.

Mr. Li paled visibly, nodding quickly. "Yes, yes, I understand."

The advocate slid a pen across the table toward Mo Fan and Qin Yu'er. "Please sign here to complete the process."

Qin Yu'er took the pen first, her hand steady as she signed the required section. She passed it to Mo Fan, who signed his parts. As he placed the pen down, he glanced up at Mr. Li with a faint smirk.

"There. Done," Mo Fan said with a smile.

Now, the land was officially owned by Mo Fan!

Qin Yu'er stood gracefully, smoothing the front of her dress. "Thank you, gentlemen," she said icily. "This meeting is concluded."

Mo Fan followed her lead, his movements unhurried but deliberate. As they turned to leave, Mo Fan paused by the door, glancing back at the trio. His expression was casual, but there was a glint of warning in his eyes. "Oh, and Mr. Li? Do try to avoid complicating things in the future. It doesn't suit you."

Without waiting for a response, he turned and exited with Qin Yu'er. Their footsteps echoed through the hallway as they made their way toward the Association lobby, leaving the trio behind to recover from the tense exchange
