Chapter 118 - CHAPTER 118: BACK TO HOME~

The late afternoon sun gleamed as Mo Fan and Qin Yu'er made their way to the private airfield near the Tianjin Magic Association.

A beautiful sleek grey turbine engine helicopter, its rotor blades whirring softly, awaited them, its polished surface reflecting the sunlight.

Zhang Wei, their loyal chauffeur, stood by the Rolls-Royce, watching them with a small smile.

"Thank you for your services, Mr. Zhang. You've been a great help, your driving skills are impeccable, and your patience even more so." Mo Fan said, handing him a bundle of 100 yuan Notes as a top.

Zhang Wei bowed respectfully upon receiving his tip, his demeanour humble. "It was my honour to assist you, sir, and Ms. Qin. I hope your venture proves successful."

Qin Yu'er, her posture as poised as ever, nodded graciously. "Thank you, Mr. Zhang. Drive safely."

With that, the duo stepped toward the helicopter. The pilot, a middle-aged man with sharp features and an air of professionalism, greeted them with a polite salute.

"Ready when you are, Sir." he said, gesturing for them to board.

"Let's go!" Mo Fan nodded. He helped Qin Yu'er into the helicopter, her flowing dress brushing against the edge of the doorway.

Once inside, she settled into her seat her expression one that of excitement! Mo Fan climbed in after her, taking the seat beside her, and fastened his harness.

"It's my first time in a Helicopter!" Qin Yu'er said while feeling excited.

"Really? Then enjoy the ride as much as you want." Mo Fan said while smiling warmly at her.

As the rotor blades spun faster the helicopter lifted off the ground smoothly. Qin Yu'er like a small child gazed out of the window, watching Binhai City shrink below them as they ascended into the sky.

She turned to Mo Fan, her voice soft but inquisitive. "So, this is where the real adventure begins?"

Mo Fan chuckled, his tone light. "You could say that. Let's call it... the start of something greater."

Her brows furrowed slightly. "You've been oddly secretive about all of this, Mo Fan. What exactly do you plan to do with this much land?"

Mo Fan glanced at her, a smirk playing on his lips. "You'll see soon enough."

The helicopter soared higher, reaching a cruising altitude of 3 kilometres. The hum of the engine filled the cabin, leaving Qin Yu'er to ponder in silence. She trusted Mo Fan completely, so she didn't ask further and waited for his big surprise.

After half an hour of smooth flight, the chopper now arrived in a relatively deserted area near the coast!

The entire area was not habited and was outside the safe zone and then lush expanse of the island came into view.

Mo Fan leaned forward slightly, his eyes widening as he took in the sight of the land below. Rolling green hills stretched out, bordered by shimmering blue waters. Majestic mountains rose toward the sky, their peaks covered in a light mist. The beautiful ocean blues surrounding the land covered with large coral reefs...

"There it is," Mo Fan said, his voice tinged with satisfaction. "Our new land."

From their vantage point, Mo Fan and Qin Yu'er were able to see the huge land, it was a large piece of land about 140km in length and 50km in breath!

Qin Yu'er followed his gaze, her eyes widening slightly. "It's... vast," she murmured, her tone carrying a hint of awe. "You weren't exaggerating."

Mo Fan leaned back in his seat, a small smirk tugging at his lips. "This is just the beginning."

A small city in the heart of the land came into view. It was modest, almost quaint and more of a town rather than a city, with scattered buildings and narrow roads weaving through the landscape. Yet, for Mo Fan, it brought a wave of nostalgia.

His gaze hardened slightly as memories of his previous life flashed through his mind—Feiniao City, In his previous life, this unassuming town had grown into Feiniao City, a vast Headquarters city of power and influence.

And 17km down south was The Fanxue Mountain, a city built by his beloved wife, Mu Ningxue it could be called a masterpiece and also their home.

Fanxue Mountain had been his sanctuary, a place of love and purpose. Compared to Feiniao City, it was way smaller, but its beauty and significance were unparalleled, it was a testament to her vision and strength.

Upon seeing the familiar land, Mo Fan's thoughts drifted back to his wife, Mu Ningxue... But when he remembered her beautiful face, a dreadful scene suddenly appeared in his mind which caused his heart to ache with a sharp pain... Mo Fan winced slightly...

"What's on your mind?" Qin Yu'er asked, noticing his sudden change in demeanour.

Mo Fan hesitated for a moment, then shook his head. "Just thinking about the potential this place has. It's not much now, but I will make it into something grand." He said with a hollow smile.

Qin Yu'er studied him silently. She didn't pry further—Mo Fan had always been like this, revealing only what he wanted to. Instead, she shifted her focus back to the land below.

"This is a lot of land to manage, Mo Fan," she said finally. "What do you plan to do with it?"

Mo Fan turned to her, his expression softening. "Build something worth remembering. Something that can stand the test of time."

Her lips curled into a faint smile. "You've always had a flair for the dramatic."

He laughed. "Well, someone has to keep things interesting."

The helicopter began its descent, circling over an open ground in the city. The pilot's voice crackled through the intercom. "We'll be landing shortly. The area looks secure."

The helicopter touched down smoothly, and the rotors began to slow. Mo Fan unfastened his seatbelt and turned to Qin Yu'er. "Ready to see it up close?"

She nodded, her curiosity evident. "Lead the way."

As they stepped out onto the lush grass, the cool breeze carried the faint scent of saltwater. Mo Fan took a deep breath, his chest swelling with determination. This land wasn't just an acquisition—it was a second chance. And this time, he wouldn't let anything stand in his way.
